I just upgraded XStore from v1.6 to v1.7. I am currently testing the Cosmetics variant of the theme. The menu has switched over to the right hand side of the screen. Also the cart, wishlist and search icons are now on the left hand side of the header.
Also, the Revolution Slideshow is only showing half of it, like its been shifted over to the left of the screen.
Likewise, I have a holding page using the imported “Coming Soon XStore”. This is also broken with only a section of the screen showing now
I manually re-imported the options using the options.json file (just in case) and saved, but this didn’t help. I also checked the header settings, but they appear correct.
Have now rolled back to v1.6 until a fix is found.
Please kindly investigate?

Thanks. I already posted on the chat support 10 hours ago. I’m now waiting for a solution from your colleague Riffaz. Gave him admin access to my staging platform.
I asked there if this only affected me, as well as a number of other questions which have not been responded to yet. Just want to know if this is an issue with the v1.7 of theme or something particular to my setup? It was just a default demo installation, applying the Cosmetic variant, then upgrade to v1.7.

Hi, I have simple question… How to get better loading time of your pages? I tested your demos on gtmetrix and pingdom and results are around 7s.I put on my hosting and I got 3.1s. But what should I do to have less than 2s?

Yes, you’ll be able to create such many attributes as you need, how to create attributes you can find here https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#section-3 , how to create variable products here https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/
If you use attributes for your products then you’ll be able to add WooCommerce layer Nav widget to add filter by attributes.

Hi! The theme looks great.
Maybe this is a woocommerce direct question but maybe you can help me in order to decide on buying this theme.
Is there any way to make a $0 product and make the “add to cart” button to appear? In my project I’m planning to add free of cost products but I want them to be added to the cart… I don’t want to make it like a coupon or free gift… I want it to appear as a product. The $0 is not necessary to appear, it would be a product with no price.

Hi there this is Portfolio feature? i just need a gallery so when you click on image its opens up in a lightbox and you can click on arrows to go to the next image.

You need to install base demo content first, it includes some demo posts, projects, products, pages. After that, you’ll be able to install demo versions and additional pages. You can find screenshots in documentation http://8theme.com/demo/docs/xstore/#installation_upgrade_24_demo_content
If you don’t want to install base demo content, but want to install dome version you may use manual import. Depending on the version it includes slider, theme options import and .xml file.

I have just purchased the Xstore. Very nice looking theme, many thanks.
I have enabled the theme and got this error message when installing the plugins:
Installing and Activating Plugin 8theme Core (1/10) Downloading install package from https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/themes/xstore/theme/plugins/et-core-plugin.zip… An error occurred while installing 8theme Core: Download failed. Unauthorized.
This error shows up with all plugins provided by you within the plugin folder in the theme, but not those which are downloaded from Wordpress (e.g. WooCommerce)
I don’t get this error with other well known themes I bought from ThemeForest. Please advise?

Note. I have got round these errors now by manually uploading the plugins, rather than using the automatic install procedure. I think your dev team may need to look at this possibly.

Just reading through your documentation. Under the section, 3.2. Included plugins.
The links in this section go nowhere. you mention “Contact Form” for recommended plugin. Do you in fact mean Contact Form 7? No link provided to plugin.

Yes, XStore theme is fully translatable and also WPML compatible. If you plan to create multilingual site – use WPML to translate theme http://8theme.com/demo/docs/xstore/#translation . In case you need just to translate to Russian use Loco translate plugin or PoEdit.
You can find xstore.pot file in theme package.

Is there any way to input list of names if i want to get 20 shirt with different name and same club logo. It is ok to see one name on screen to understand and i should enter or attach a list of name for printing on each shirts.

Before I buy… I cannot find in the “Pages&Features” section any example for “Testimonials” module, however, I can see such slider in one of the demos. Is it included in the theme or not? How to check what are the options? In my case it is important feature. Regards
