i am unable to edit my site! Do i need to buy visual composer now? Or what is going on??

Can you please check if you are using latest version of our theme? The latest version for the moment is (1.9.3), please update theme first and then the premium plugins too.
The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit or Envato Market plugin. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure 
Important: After you update the theme please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

If you don’t want to miss any of your theme updates and want to be informed, please don’t forget to enable this option:
so when the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.

Hello, stiloso and great theme, I should create a portal with many, many pages. Can you please answer these simple pre-sale questions?
1- Mega Menu: exist in Kalium? If ya, how many columns and is there the possibility to customize it even with small photos?
2- Inside a page: in addition to the main menu, can I have another menu linked to other pages or linked in the sections of the page itself (the classic anchor links)?
3- Can I get in my website, all the pages I want, created using your theme One Page, also linked to the general home page?

1 — It’s not supported yet, we have it in the to-do list.
2 — You can have a menu if you add it via Visual Composer because the theme doesn’t have any other menu location where you can add it.
3 — I couldn’t understand this question, you can create pages with the one-page demo and link them via the menu.

Hi there!
I have a question in regards to ‘Photography’ demo of your theme.
The Gallery with lightbox functionality… are those just media files in the media library with a custom taxonomy attached? Or are they some sort of custom post type?
Would it be possible to add my own custom taxonomy (sold/available/gallery) and text field (link to gallery) for each image and then display this information in the gallery?
I don’t require your help with the custom work, but if you could give me a rough time frame (if it is possible to accomplish). Thank you very much!

This is a custom post type, it uses the “Portfolio Post Type” so each image is a post and can include even more images which means it can be a single photo or an album.

I’m looking to maybe buy this theme but have a few questions. Never used wordpress before, but seems to save me a lot of time from setting up my own website. Though I am wondering how much control I have over further customization of this theme. Can I keep on adjusting things within the html/css/js files of the Kalium theme through ftp uploading or am I stuck with what I get? Also, I really want to have an ability to upload my javascript sketches in a js canvas element. Is there a way to do this other than trying to acces the code myself and putting it in? Can I add js libraries? Many questions, I hope you can answer them

We offer a rich Theme Options, and we also offer Visual Composer and Revolution Slider plugin for free. Also we have a very rich Theme Options so i think that most options that user wants are there.
But if you want to edit any core theme file, such as PHP or JS files you can do that. We also offer Child Theme, so if you edit any theme file changes that you’ve made will not loose after you update the theme.

Just to be sure; So it is possible for me to make changes to any code through Visual Composer or, to work in a child theme of Kalium. Which makes it possible to run javascript canvasses where I want them. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I have installed the photography theme (love it). After having spent some time uploading some photos, all the sudden the masonry layout changed from 3 columns to 1 column (without me customizing anything) so the thumbs are really big now? How do I change it back the to the way it was? This has happened a few times to me now, I already did a few clean installs but the problem keeps occuring. Would appreciate your help with this. Hi, is there a simple way to adjust the footer so on a content-light page such as this one

Also, on longer pages I would the like the footer just to sit at the bottom of the page simply, rather than appearing from underneath the rest of the content, is that straight forward? It seems to work that way on the tablet / mobile sizes already.

You choose the way you want to show the footer in Laborator > Theme Options > Footer, if you don’t want it to show from the bottom then simply disable it from the options there.

Hi Art, I think I’ve not explained myself properly. I want to show the footer, but the problem I have is that currently on pages where the content is light (see example below) the footer ends up effectively being hidden, since you have to scroll to get it.

When the footer is set as Fixed like in your case then you can’t show it directly, it will need a scroll to show. I could give you a custom CSS code but you cannot use it in the portfolio category.

first of all — i’m very happy with your theme!
I’ve got one thing i can’t reach with css..
I’d like to expand the with of the full width menu inner container, so that all menu items are visible horizontal, until the screensize changes to the mobile menu.
I can expand the with easily to «width: 100%», but the inner menu doesn’t align to center properly anymore then. I tried with «margin: auto» – what works everywhere else..
Can anybody help with the code?

They are not the same, you can see on this video that they all are different, some offer different hover types, some show the text below the image, and some change the image when the item is hovered.

Hello, I am very interested in the new photography theme. Hope it’s okay to ask a couple of questions before I purchase Kalium.
1. In the demo, the photography theme uses a masonry layout with no spacing. Is it possible to change this to a different layout, eg 3 column portfolio or portfolio grid?
2. In the photography lightbox, is it possible to disable some of the functionality, eg. zoom in/out or download photo?

1. Absolutely, you can use any layout of the grid presented even in our other demos in how columns you want.

Hi. I mean having like a photo gallery but with videos, with a thumbnail of the video with a little play icon, and then when you click on it you can open the video or either play it on the gallery. Not as a posts, but as a gallery where you can have several columns with the videos. Thank you!

It is possible to replace the icon for the Hamburger Menu in Kalium theme (three horizontal bars) with a png file?? I looked all the options and I can only change color, hide it or add text. Thank you!

We haven’t used this plugin before, and it seem like a nice plugin. But i can see that this plugin works for Wordpress video player only.
