good day, I have an issue with the language switcher. I use Polylang and followed all the documentation but still when I switch the menu, all are just the same, following the menu of just one language. I hope you can help me figure it out. thank you.
What is also weird is that when I try to edit by going to Customise then Menu, it shows that the menu I set up for each languages are there and it is changing every time I switch the language. But when I go live or even just when I exit the customise then the menu for each language is again not working.

One more question Ammar, is it possible to have a login button on the menu and when you click on it, the log in form will just slide down?
Yes it is possible to have a login button in the menu, se our forum demo (the Join Us button) http://avada.theme-fusion.com/forum/ ... however it does not technically “slide” down, it fades. But you should be able to add a slide down effect with some custom css.

Hello,
I wanted to know if it is possible in portfolio to keep the navigation next and previous with in the current category. For example if i have two categories say bikes and cars and if i am viewing the portfolio of bikes the next and previous should only show me projects related to bikes, i see many comments asking for this feature but i dont know if this is available yet?

Hi Guys. Since upgrading to Wordpress 6.0 (using latest Avada, of course) in preview mode Recent posts shortcode is replicating the same image over and over instead of showing featured image as it should. On some sites – I have several licenses for Avada – you dont see the shortcode images at all. Blank. Never seen this before and it only happens in preview mode. The online version is fine. Strange.

I believe you mean WordPress 4.6 ? It’s definitely possible to achieve a layout like that one. If you wish to use the Fusion Slider (the same as the demo) you would need to use a bit of custom CSS to adjust the height of the slider so that the menu appears. If you’re using one of the other slider options, this can be achieved without the need for custom CSS.

Yes, you can insert your AdSense code inside any text/code element on the page and it will display as normal. There are also many plugins available that insert your AdSense code in various places around the theme.

Hmm, how are you trying to process the update? Are you using WordPress’s updater? If so, I would recommend using the FTP method instead. This will allow you to bypass some of the restrictions that your server has in place, such as the one above. You can find all the steps to an FTP update in method two of this article:

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but whenever I put images into an image gallery on a page and list it as “Tiled Mosaic” the thumbnails appear blurry. The images load fine and are crisp when I click on them but its the initial page that is giving me issue. I have tried altering the default media file size perimeters, downloading two different plugins (WP Resized Image Quality and Regenerate Thumbnail) but the thumbnails still appear blurry. This does not occur when I list the gallery in Thumbnail Grid but I would prefer to use the mosaic option.

How did you create the “forum” on your sample site? Is it a plugin? Many forums are known to get spam, how does Avada protect against forum spammers? Is it possible to “lock” the forum with an add-on plugin like Wishlist Member?

Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately I’ve researched bbPress and that not going to work for me. I’ve heard too many negative things from people who were bombarded with spam and other things and ended up dumping bbPress for alternative forum software. I’ve heard good things about Xenforo but don’t think it will work with Avada yet. Maybe in the future?

I see you like to mention this theme was built with “HTML5”. Where, besides the doctype, are you using HTML 5? I don’t see any modern use of tags. Not even easy ones for header, nav, content or footer. All I see is DIV soup. Please explain.

We for example use the footer tag, and other tags like article will come. Of course all older tags are still valid HTML5, so using them correctly, in fact means to use HTML5.
But HTML5 is not only about the usage of a few new element tags for semantics. It is also about different elements are used, which attributes may be used, which ones not, how CSS and scripts are included ec.
So while we are constantly working on improving the output markup, Avada is correctly implementing HTML5 just now.
