i cannot upload it via wordpress theme install, then i did it via file manager from cpanel. now it says style sheet is missing
Hello @Joannleng.
This is probably because you’re not uploading the correct zip file to WordPress, you must make sure that you are uploading the avada.zip file only and not the complete package, for more info please read this article : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/whats-included-in-package/
However you can always use the FTP method to install the theme too which can be read here as well : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/ftp-installation/
If you still have issues, please do open a ticket with us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello, I have the sliding bar on all my site but i want to disable this sliding bar in one specific page. How to do ? Thank you
Hello @Abxprod
This is indeed possible using custom CSS, you need to find the page id for that specific page and then use this class to disable the sliding bar on it after the page id
.page-id-number #slidingbar-area{display: none !important;}
If you need more assistance in this case, please do open a ticket with us and we will gladly assist.

seems do not work …. My id page is 1973 so isit like this ? :
.page-1973 #slidingbar-area{display: none !important;}
Hey @abxprod!
The CSS you need would be:
.page-id-1973 #slidingbar-area{display: none !important;}
That should do the trick. As mentioned above, if you require any further assistance with this one, please head on over to our support center to submit a ticket. A member of our team will be assigned and respond as soon as possible.

Hello @Kershen.
We are glad to hear that you like our product, however our theme supports a large quantity 3rd party plugins but we can never be sure of 100% compatibility across all the plugins out there since we can not afford to check them all one by one but if anything comes up you can always open up a ticket with us and we will check it out if we can do something about it

What happened to Muhammad the other founder of Avada? His not listed anymore.
Hello!
Muhammad is no longer with ThemeFusion since early 2016, he wanted to spend extra time with his family and friends. and we wish him all the best! We still collaborate when needed, and have increased our team members to make up for his loss.
Thanks! Luke
Hi!
I wonder about a double setting. I allowed comments on a page. And I had comments allowed in wordpress settings. Still I had to search in avada settings to get to a setting to allow comments. Why doesn’t avada inherit the settings you do in core wordpress?
I also added comments on a page. I have visual composer on that page with columns. I have the main text in 2/3 of the page width only, and then like a sidebar. I would like the comments section to go only under the 2/3 of the page too. Is it possible to put the comments there?
Thanks!
Hello!
Actually they are different, comments on pages or comment in posts. Avada’s setting is to allow comments on pages, the WP settings are for posts and Avada inherits them and does not mess with them. However, Avada does allow the comment box to be disabled on posts, purely for design reasons.
For the other question, you want a comment box in a specific area on a page? That is currently not possible, unless VC offers a comment box short code which I do not think they do. Comments can be on pages or posts, but will always be at the bottom above the footer, which is where WP puts it.
Although, if you have further questions about this or need assistance with anything else, our support team can help much further

Hi!
What is the best way to update your theme?
Which order is best to update (from wordpress/theme/plugins)?
Will anything be lost in update? Custom css?
Thanks!
Hello!
Nothing will be lost as long as you did not modify any of our original files. If you did modify our original files, always make sure to create a child theme instead, that way nothing is lost.
If you only put CSS in CSS field in theme options, nothing will be lost. Or if you made a child theme, nothing will be lost, or if you use the theme regularly (without modifying our files) nothing will be lost
Typically you update the theme first, then our fusion core plugin. WordPress can be updated anytime there is a new version out.
Also we have an Avada Patcher tool on the Support tab of or welcome screen, it’s great for applying a quick patch we release if and when it is needed, simple click of a button will fix a known bug. more info here: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/avada-patcher/
If you have further questions, submit a new ticket. Our support team will gladly help!
Thank you!
Theme issues - It appears that your theme has an issue and conflicts with woo commerce if placed in the child theme. I have moved the woo commerce files from the plugin into the child theme and i keep running into a problem where the parent is taking over the CSS in the child and the same goes for the pages i am trying to edit. I have looked everywhere for a solution and everything we have tried has failed. I really need to be able to edit the files in the child and i can’t seem to figure out why its not seeing the file and overwriting. Typically when those files are in the child they trump anything before it but the child with your theme doesn’t do that… I really need a solution to this we purchased the theme but now we are struggling to make changes that would take me 2 mins are taking me a day to solve this one problem.
Hello!
We’re not able to replicate this and have thousands of customers who use our included child theme with WooCommerce. I just setup a basic one locally to test it out and all was well.
Please make sure you are up to date with Avada + Woo, and also we can provide support to you and check out your situation b¨t i has to be done through our support center. For more info, please see below.

Hi,
will a catalog mode ever be implemented? I know there are plugins for woocommerce but honestly that’s still too heavy. More of a portfolio but purely for products. for example like RT theme 19 has built in.
Thanks
Hello!
Yes we do have it on our list to create a form of a catalog for WooCommerce
It’s been requested enough and we have plans to add it, however I could not say exactly when. But it will be.
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the reply. However, I meant a built in catalog, purely separate from woocommerce. Since there are already a lot of plugins for woocommerce that do this, but is still too heavy and slow for the purposes of a pure catalog.
Yes I understood
When we do add it, it will be built in by some form. Keep in mind, it is always not good to keep building in large features like that, so it does depend on what our dev team thinks is best, but when we do it it will be a feature of some kind that you can choose to turn on or off and use.
Thanks!
I upgraded to the newest version template and now on explorer the events do not open up half way down the page.
here: http://bit.ly/2boK4Gl
Do i need a patch for explorer or what do i need to do?

I did all that, So I just want to go back to when it was working with an earlier version. I tried to submit a ticket but my support says it just ended, so can you tell me if I can just go back to an earlier release so everything is working like before.
Hello @changenfx
We can assure you there is no issue with the latest version of template, however if you want to go back to a previous version you can download it 3.9.4 from here : https://theme-fusion.com/forums/topic/recommended-upgrade-before-avada-4-0/
Thanks
Ammar.
Unfortunately the only way for an old version is if you had it backed up, or our team can provide an older version. However we are assure that it does work, you can see it on our demo also.
Did you buy the template before Sept 1st 2015? If not, then this should apply to you which means support has not expired: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/grandfathered-support/
Hoping that is the case, if not I’m afraid we cannot do anything without a support member checking it out through our center.
Also since we do not experience this, it could be another plugin you have doing it, or possible an older version of IE or a browser add on? Just offering up more suggestions because we’d like to help, but it does require going through support for something like this.
Thanks!
I bought it in 2016. It happens when you click on one event, then when you are done you cant click on anymore going down .. The first two below allow you to click. This only happens in IE. I am using the newest IE as well. ... When I try to submit a ticket it says my support has expired
Hey @changenfx!
If your support period has expired but you require assistance from our team, you can extend your support period via your ThemeForest account:

Hello,
I’m considering to buy your theme, but I’d like to clarify a few questions first:
1) Can I use 2 simultaneous sidebar layout for post? I saw only a page example. Can those sidebars contain different widgets (not duplicate each other)?
2) I’d like to create a complex site using your portfolio functionality for a database of sorts. I mean, for example, books. Can I rename the portfolio into books? Can I have various categories there, separate from categories of the blog? Also, can I have tags for portfolio and rename this too? Can I show the portfolio in a grid with a real-time filter above?
3) I read about customizing category and archive pages. Can I ‘pin’ some posts on the top of the category page? Can I add some content like a paragraph of description and maybe an image on the top of the category page? Can I have all my categories with different design (not site-wide)?
4) I’d like to put ads on my future blog. For sidebar it’s easy, just a text widget. How about ads inside the page (built with your page builder) and in the header/footer? I could use some popular news/magazines themes like Sahifa or NewsMag that make placing ads very easy (they gave an admin interface for all the ad spots), but I really like your theme’s versatility and I want to build a site with 2 simultaneous sidebars.
Thanks in advance for answering these questions.
__ Alex
Another question, can I create different post formats, like a list? You know, when you click the next/previous buttons to see all the items in the list post? Like it is here: http://bestpokemongospots.com/best-pokemon-go-spots-world/6/?utm_source=Taboola&utm_medium=BriH&utm_campaign=Int&utm_term=gamer-nintendolife
And one more question: can I create multiple portfolios with different sets of categories/tags in each? Thanks.
Hello @koolaev_writer
I will try to answer your queries one by one here
1. Yes you can use different sidebars in our theme and assign any kind of widgets as well, you can read more about the sidebars and widgets here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/widgets/
2. Changing the portfolio post name to books is going to take you some theme file edits however on front end its doable simply by using the translation technique, also yes you can have different categories for the portfolios and can also use a nice filter as well which you can see here : http://avada.theme-fusion.com/4-column-grid/
3. Yes, All of it is doable simply by using our Recent post shortcode with the category filter and then you can create your own category pages, however the default category pages will obviously have the same layout as they are not editable from back end as per WordPress default behavior.
4. You can use our widget shortcode to put the ads inside the page content as well.
5. This is already an option in our theme, you can definitely move from one post to another like you see in our demo or you can also have them in a specific category.
6. Yes, You can create multiple portfolios with multiple categories.
Hope that was helpful.
We will be delighted for you to join the largest theme community out there
Thanks
Ammar.
Hello Ammar,
Thanks for answering my questions in detail!
I have to add a couple things though to clarify what I meant for number 5:
I didn’t talk about moving from one post to another, this functionality I already saw in your demo. But what I meant is creating a paginated post, divided into several ‘chapters’ and moving from chapter to chapter. Like it is done here, for example:
http://pokemoncraze.com/2016/08/father-allows-son-rename-pokemon-go-collection/3/And with regards to the 3rd one, you’re telling me it’s possible but not for default category pages. But then how it is possible at all? Because I was asking if I can edit and remake those category pages, index pages for posts from those categories. Could you please elaborate on what you meant by ‘creating your own category pages’?
Thanks!
— Alex
Hello Alex
I see what you are talking about and for that you can use a plugin to paginate the post, i tried to google one for you and found this : http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-split-wordpress-posts-into-multiple-pages/
Regarding the category pages, they are not editable at all as the pages are auto generated by WordPress and you will need to edit the theme files in that case, what i meant about category pages is by simply making your own pages that shows posts from a specific category only by using our blog shortcode with filters.
Cheers.
Ammar.
Ammar,
Thank you very much. I think I just need to go ahead and buy your theme to build my new website already.

Hi guys,
how can I change the title settings from h2 to h1 on the single post pages?
For SEO reasons, it’s very important to have it h1.
Thanks in advance
P.S.: Great work BTW! Love Avada <3
Hello @kuhglocke.
We already have the H1 if you enable the Page Title bar, that is the sole reason the post title is set to H2 to follow the SEO standards on customer’s demand however if you want to change it still you have to make a coding change inside single.php file.
For any other info please do open a support ticket and our tech. reps will get back to you as soon as possible.

Where can I set the post title bar?
Hello!
You can set the title bar globally in theme options on the “page title bar” tab, or individually per post in the “page title bar” tab section. There are global settings for all pages and posts, then individual overrides for each page or post.

Hi, i’m just curious … is this normal if the site loads a google font twice ?
Once it’s loaded by theme: http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=PT+Sans:400&subset=latin and once by RevSlider, right before the slider appears in page: http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=PT+Sans%3A400%2C700%26subset%3DlatinHello @Moviemaker
If its loading second time from Revolution slider than i am not sure about that, we might have to get this checked so please open a ticket with our support and our team will gladly take a look at it.

Hi there,
Is it possible to use your blog posts widget to pull through different categories of blog posts into the same landing page and display each category of blog posts using a different layout?
Thanks.
Hello @Gn1000
Yes, we have our blog shortcode which can be filtered on the basis of categories and a different layout can be set to each of the shortcode, that is exactly what it does and you can read all about it here in our documentation : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/blog-2/using-blog-shortcode/

Before I buy – could you tell me – does your theme include visual composer style animations and functions to create animated stats similar to this page: http://bit.ly/2bEAAmb Thanks!
Hello AnaG
We have our countdown shortcode as well as the progress (stat) bars shortcode that you can set as per your requirement and yes they do animate, you can see them working on our demo and let me link them to you here aswell.
Progress bars : http://avada.theme-fusion.com/progress-bars/
Counter Circles : http://avada.theme-fusion.com/counter-circles/
Counter Boxes : http://avada.theme-fusion.com/counter-box/
Hope that will suffice

Hello there,
Pre-sales question: I’ve seen three different themes so far (The7, Enfold, Stockholm). What they do have in common is a way to represent online a menu for restaurants / cafeterias / etc. An example would be: http://the7.dream-demo.com/demo/restaurant/ .
Although I’m one step away from buying Avada (I loved it’s speed), I wanna know if there’s a way to represent a menu (WITHOUT coding anything new), if there’s one, a demo to see it, and finally, if there’s a multi-authors like “skin” for blogs. I think i’ve asked you this one in the past, although, blog styles never changed in version 4, so far.
I would really like (as a visitor to an avada theme based website) to see a blog with more modern / less classic design. A design similar to Moz blog, for example
Link: https://moz.com/blog (and especially I liked the blog post view of this blog).
Hello There.
That menu you see on the site is actually not using any specific shortcode and was simply creating using text and some images, same menu can be seen on our Avada Cafe demo as well here : http://avada.theme-fusion.com/cafe/food-drink/
We are just using a different type of style and layout with it but you can indeed change it as per your own requirements and create any layout you prefer, it should be easy for you and no special coding is required
when it comes to blog we also have a number of different layouts and all of them can be seen on our demo pages but here is a screenshot for you : http://prntscr.com/camk78
Also, We are continuously listening to our customers so any feature request you have you can always send it our way to support@theme-fusion.com please.
We will be delighted for you to be a part of this Amazing community
Thanks
Ammar.
