When is Avada 5 ready?
Need to build new sites for clients, but can’t do that on 4 anymore and otherwise I need to use another theme (and I dont want that 
).

In a certain way, yes it is possible, it may require some slight custom styling (custom css) but yes it can be done.

We do have an option for setting up Instagram as a social icon but not as feed right now, but you can use any 3rd party plugin that are available out there and it should work.

Right now we use the default WP gallery shortcode that can be set by going to “Add media” section on the media library, you can read all about the gallery shortcode here : https://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode
However we are also working on a gallery shortcode of our own but there is no ETA for that right now

Hi, I raised a ticket yesterday but never heard back – I’m stuck on my site so would love some help: I installed AVADA and the plugin’s but I haven’t installed any demos or ‘designed’ anything.
I just started with a blog post (rough draft) – I’ve clicked to look at a preview of my draft and it shows:

PRE-PURCHASE QUESTION: I was about to purchase another theme for a Beauty Salon client when I discovered Avada. A requirement for the client is to be able for their clients to make online appointments on a calendar with the ability for the salon owner to block out certain appointment times. The other theme uses the “Booked” plug-in. Is this plugin compatible or does Avada already have the ability to do this?

Hmm, I am not familiar with this particular plugin, but this feature is something that would need to be added via a third party plugin. While I can’t guarantee 100% compatibility with third party plugins, Avada does generally play nice with most well-coded plugins. We adhere to strict WordPress coding standards to ensure that we’re compatible with as many third party plugins as possible.

We’ve not tested that ourselves so cannot guarantee it, however it should be fine. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

Hi! How do I add a link to the featured image of my portfolio page to click to a different URL in another window?

Hmm, that sounds like you will need to remove/hide the featured image on the single portfolio page and then insert the image in the page content. That will allow you to set a custom URL on the image. Can you please give that a go for me?

Hi, When you click on a portfolio item, you can setup a gallery that scrolls through various images. Is it possible to display a number or text on each image which can be used as a reference? So instead of saying to users, “please look at the 3rd image in the gallery” we can say “please refer to image labelled 001”.

The lightbox is capable of displaying the images title/caption on top of the image, which might serve as a suitable solution. You can set the title/caption for each of your images via the WordPress media library:

PRE-SALES QUESTION: Hi there, I keep hearing wonderful things about Avada and I’m considering purchasing. My question is this: Is there a demo to create a talent agency? By this I mean an agency for clothing models. I had thought the Fashion demo might be good, but I would need for each model to have a page. For ex., when a visitor clicks on a model, instead of a lightbox coming up, I would want it to go to a page that gives their stats and additional pictures they may have taken. Is this possible? Thanks!

While we don’t have a demo specific to talent agencies, what you’re after is certainly possible. You could create a page using our page builder and insert an image for each model, with a link to an individual page for each one. You can then insert any element you like on those pages, giving you full control over how it appears.
You can install the Fashion demo as a quick way of getting started and then remove/add elements to the pages to suit what you were after.

Too bad the Fusion Builder doesn’t work on iPad and I can’t administrate my website with the template. I have to look for a different one.

Hmm, in my experience building pages on tablet devices doesn’t seem to be very common. However, I gave this a quick test on my end and it seemed to hold up rather well. Is there something specific that you weren’t able to accomplish on the iPad?

Hi, I travel a lot and the iPad is always on. Administration from it is not a far thought when you have the right apps. I couldn’t find the problem but editing a page, post gives me just the “Fusion Builder” button above the editor and no functions.

Hmm, I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean. You can display your products in a grid (WooCommerce default) as seen on our live demo here:

You can also use toggles at the top of the grid to display the items in a list view:

Hi. I am using WMPL to translate my website in French. I need to translate the Footer widget: Avada Twitter: Recent tweets; Avada Facebook Page Plugin: Find us on Facebook. There is no option to select French Or English on the botom of the widget. It doesn’t matter if I am in French or english version of the website. There is just one widget withch goes on both versions. Can you tell me how can I make a version for French and one for English? Is there a settting somewhere. The Multilingual text widget has the option under neet to change the language. How come the Avada Facebook page widget is not having this option? Thankyou
