Hi,
Google has indexed the page “www.xxxxx.com/home/” which when i click on it goes to “http://www.xxxxx.com/slide/home/”.
I have made all pages and post private (except the ones i created) however it still keeps going to /slide/home/ which seems to be a “Post”, when i click <previous or next> it seems to go through images like ”/slide/demo-6-2/”.
How can i remove the ”/home/” address so Google de-indexes it and its no longer available?

Hello! Before i purchase the theme, I would like to know a few things, some of the things that I want to do with my website are not on the theme, can I added by hiring a professional to do it (for example a developer license)? Or he will not have access to that part of the theme. thanks in advance and sorry about my english
Few questions before I buy this theme for my website :
1. Can I add plugins, such as: nextgen gallery & essential grid? 2. On your website I see that the Grid Layouts have different sizes, am I going to be able to put all in the same size? 3. I would like to know if my developer would be able to change some things on the pics on the Grid Layouts, like for example, add name, and age of the person – like if it was a calendar. 4. I saw that on the Grid Layout on the top appear “All, Logo, Photography Videos Web Design” and once I click on, for example Photography, It appears only the photograpies, Am I going to be able to do something like that on my website, but with my categories? 5. Is it possible to add photos from Instagram, the same way as Flickr? 6. It says that has SEO Base Built-In, but I´m still going to need a SEO plugin right? 7. My developer can add some functions to the theme? 8. Does this theme include Subscribe?

If you want to hire a developer to create your site, you can still buy a regular license and let the developer use it on your server to create the site for you.
1) Yes you can use WordPress plugins with Avada. Most plugins, including nextgen gallery, play nicely with it.
2) Yes you can set the grid to any size you want between 1 – 6 columns and they will have the same width.
3) Yes in general almost everything can be changed. Some things will need advanced coding skills, why others are pretty easy, but in any case a professional can adjust features to suit your needs.
4) Yes this will work with your own categories.
5) We currently don’t have an instagram widget, like we have for flickr, but there are plugins out there, that will do that job.
6) You don’t have to use a SEO plugin, but of course that can help. A free plugin like Yoast SEO would be recommended.
7) Yes.
8 ) The theme includes 1/2 year of active support. An additional 6 months can be bought together with the theme, The purchase also includes free lifetime updates.

In Avada 4.0.3 you can enable/disable ReCaptcha by going to -> Theme Options >> Contact Form >> ReCaptcha – http://d.pr/i/322Z

My version is on version 1.01 and there is no ReCaptcha section on my theme setting. I turn on the ThemeUpate Feature, however there is no update so far.

Avada 1.01 is 4 years old and does not contain the reCaptch feature or the auto update. You would need to update your theme, currently we are on v4.0.3 so that is a huge jump.

We just purchase the theme & download your theme this year, i dont know why we are still using the 4years back version. However, i think we gonna create support ticket at your support. Hope its help.
Hmm ThemeForest only keeps one copy of the theme on file, and it’s always the latest theme version.
The theme name is always the same, it stays Avada.zip which is needed so you are not uploading 2 or 3 or 4, etc of different theme versions.
If you just downloaded it, then it will be the latest file. Install it and check theme options or theme section of WP admin to see the real version #.

Hello ! I need to create a blog where the pictures with the title upon it take the whole screen right after the hero (Like the snapchat discover). I found this theme from another author that I like a lot http://matchthemes.com/demowp/mira/ . Can I do anything that looks like that through Avada ? The options showed on the blog part of the website are all the modifications available ? Thank you !

Yes, it is indeed possible with our blog grid layout and you can set the column spacing to no with excerpts set to zero. This will cause the gap between elements to be removed and the excerpts to be removed. You can checkout the default grid layout here : http://avada.theme-fusion.com/blog-grid-full-width/

I purchased it. I was able to remove the space between the columns as you said but how can I make it occupy the full screen on the sides ? Removing the background ?

Hi, I am having issues with my revolution slider showing. It states there is an update available for the slider but I can’t download/update it and the slider isn’t showing on my site.
EDIT: The slider is fixed. Someone it was disabled. I am however not receiving automatic updates when a new version is released. I noticed I was on 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 was released a few months ago.

For auto updates, did you set it up on product registration tab? You can set it up there and it will work for 5,0 (as long as it shows green checkmark) but it uses normal WP update system, so under “Dashboard” menu it will show you if you have updates, it shows here: http://d.pr/i/19mkC

Also to note, in 5.0 our new upcoming version, Envato uses a new API so registration has to change, but it’s much easier now with only one token key. We’ll have info for you in the update notes.

Prepurchase Question…
On occasion I need to do some light css coding, I have my limitations though. Is part of the support provide help with light css code snippets?
I use another theme now and to be honest the reason I have solely used them is because the support is so good. I saw Avada and I love the backend functionality, very easy and saves a lot of time.
I looked through a lot of the documents on here and love what I see so far as far as the support through videos and tutorials.
I did notice in the forums that there are a lot of unanswered questions so that worries me a little but the fact that you have a support ticket option is nice. I just mainly wanted to know if that support ticket option included light coding.
Within the support ticket area is it possible to search for previously asked questions and get the answers from there so I am not asking the same question many others have asked before?

While we cannot promise it, we do usually give it out, but it can’t be a regular thing, every now and then and as long as it’s minor and we are sure it won’t cause issues elsewhere, our team does usually provide it. But you’ll also be surprised how much Avada can do.

Which forum are you referring to where you saw unanswered questions? If it is the one here on Envato, we have no way of knowing when those come in as we are not tagged since Envato does not have a system setup for that, and in fact specifically ask that it not be used for theme support.
Each author has to perform support on their own site. The forums here are simply for ebuyers to ask “envato/themeforest” type questions, not for theme support from the author.
This is why each author provides support on their own site, because it’s better managed and we control it, we know exactly when someone asks a question via tickets

We have a community forum for registered users to interact user to user.
We have online documentation, knowledgebase and video tutorials.
We have a community Facebook Group.
And best of all, we have a direct ticket system where you can ask your questions directly to our team of 20 experts who answer them pretty much around the clock 
We also have a User Dashboard where yo can view your ticket history. Everything is searchable except for other tickets because they are private and often contain URLs/logi credentials, etc. So for example, docs, KB, community forum, FB group is searchable, the direct ticket system is not as it’s meant to be private one on one support. I do like the support ticket option if needed, I prefer to find the answers myself first and use support tickets as a last resort.

The forum was where we used to provide support earlier but now we have shifted to a better email based platform, that is for more customers security and rapid responses, however we decided not to close the forums so our customers can assist around each other if required but no official support will be provided there, its just for the community. Just to clarify: via Firebug – I see the assigned color for the Orange Skin is #E9A825. Can I just substitute that for my preferred color: #EF6700. Maybe I missed something – but I did a search in the style sheet for #E9A825—but didn’t find it. Thanks so much!

Hi, on the way to set some default values to the map shortcode i noticed, that the map shortcode does not have any default values like other shortcodes. ( Or am i looking at the wrong place for it? -> Avada -> Shortcodes Styling ? ) – The second thing is, i would like to have an overlay with a custom opacity on the shortcode – just like in the options for the contact-map-settings – in the default shortcode there is only a “solid” color overlay option, so it is not possible at the moment, right?
One more cool feature would be a “Subject” – Field for the email in the social links/icons, that would be appended to the mailto-string – what file do i have to edit to achieve that?

We use font awesome icons, so yes there should be a print icon you can add to a header menu item (top or main) http://fontawesome.io/icon/print/
Yes it can, any menu item can have an icon next to it, and if you leave just an empty space, you can just use an icon next to it.

Also in IE 11 the dropdown boxes for variable products in Woocommerce don’t look quite right and definitely not as nice as in Chrome.
Are you familiar with these issues? I run latest Avada with all patches applied.

We have not run into them on our own demos or through supporting our customers. I’d suggest checking any customizations you have done, or maybe even disabling any 3rd party plugins to see if they are causing issues.
