Can you pls verify if the VC element “Child Categories” works properly with your theme ?
I am using another template with VC, unfortunately, after changing the “No. of Categories” to 1, the element is displaying ALL the Prod Categories on front end !!

Yes, I got your point and you can easily add the child categories or whatever you want to show from the categories on the frontend by using the custom made VC element in the theme. You can add the categories by enter the ID of the categorySee here: http://prntscr.com/cfbfht

1. The AJAX Search Result is automatically loading the Prod Page (when the Prod is found). Can I change this from not happening ? I simply want to see a drop down result.
2. My Project will have approx 15K prods in the database. On the Homepage, I want to show 10 Featured Prods for each of the 10 Main Prod Categories , bringing the total to 100 prods. I have a reasonably powerful Cloud Host A/c with SiteGround. Do you think my site will load up in less than 10secs ?

Eg; say there are 1000 Prods belonging to a category “Technology”, out of which, 10 Prods are Tagged as “Featured”, which I want to show on the Home Page Prod Slider.

Hello, I recently updated Porto to 3.1 and used the restaurant theme for my site, and I noticed the Revolution Slider is embedded. But somehow there is an error msg. on the Front page and I don’t know where to configer the slider alias. The correct alias should be “classicslider1”. The page link is www.perch-music.com.cn. I have purchased the Revolution Slider already and customised accordingly.

The revolution slider is included in the theme package. You do not need to buy it. You can just install it from Dashboard >> Porto >> Install plugins. So please uninstall you personal installed rev. slider plugin and then install it from theme. After that refresh your page, You will also find ready to use sliders in theme package files Porto >> Revolution Sliders Demo. You can import sliders form here and use theme easily.

Thanks; I have deleted my purchased slider revolution and re-installed the plug-in from the Porto->Plug-in dashboard, and refreshed the page. But I cannot find Revolution Sliders Demo page as you said. Could you pls further advise? Also when I go to the Slider Revolution dashboard, I can still see the sliders that I created with the purchased version

Yes, You can create more custom sidebars from Appearance >> Sidebars. and you can place different sidebars on different pages by selecting appropriate side bar From page View Options “Sidebar”. Thanks

the medium layout is the large layout and the large layout is the medium layout. They should be renamed and transposed accordingly.

I am displaying category thumbs on the front page, inside those containers there is the category image and a “category title box” I am using this code to change the color of those boxes.

I installed the Construction demo leaving the settings as is, but I don’t know whether I am missing the wood for the trees but the sticky (top) menu fails to ‘stick’ on the home page (as it does in the sample).

Hello, my website is very slow. Acceleration documents the recommendations implemented. But the site broke. Also went up. Demo you please make my website as fast. My backend is really really slow, I’ve disabled all plugins, and installed the wp-supercache, but it is still very slow, i’m beginning to suspect it is the theme issue. Do you have any solution for thiS?
The backend IS REALLY SLOW. It’s not the server fault if you think, we are running on the latest apache, php, with all the required mod for apache. super cache is installed too. everything is done. i tried > Fresh WP > install WP > install multisite = still okay a little slow > then install porto = still ok > install the porto plugins, WAH. now everything is slow. I bought this theme. It runs extremely slow. How can I make it faster. As fast as your demo.

Yes, you can add the search icon in the main menu by select the Header type 2,3,8 and 17.
And you can add the add to cart in the top navigation by adding the my cart page in your top navigation menu with the cart icon.

Hi – I get the error that others have had when trying to install the WPBakery Visual Composer: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10).
I think you are trying to upload the wrong zip file. There is no need to upload the plugin separately. Visual Composer is already added in the theme.zip file please go to Porto >> Plugins. If you will not get success then please contact us through our support system so we will do it for you.

Thanks. I discovered that the VC zip didn’t load via FTP when I uploaded the theme, so was just a matter of loading it and all fixed.
