Hello, I am having issues with the menu items, the icons do not pop up when you click on “Show Icons” button. I have tried tried shutting off all the plugins except for the ones needed to operate the theme, updating wordpress, and updating the theme itself with no avail. Please advise.

1. Your demo website (www.seowptheme.com). Apart from installing the theme and the demo, what other plugins have you installed? (for caching, compressing, anything else) What host are you using? Since you have perfect scores.

1. We use free caching plugins like W3TC / Autoptimize. It’s Digital Ocean hosting. We do recommend WP Engine as well.
2. Yes, we use a free CloudFlare service.
3. You will get very close results if you make no changes to the website. For example, if you load custom images or add more content with images – the speed will go down. Also the more plugins you install – the slower will be your website.

Why Digital Ocean and not Linode, like you used to? Do you use WP Engine personally in the demo site?
Should I install Yoast SEO with the theme? Will it slow it down? Will it help with my SEO a lot even with the theme? I have mostly static pages just like your demo.

We recommend to use Yoast WP.
Linode has big down-times due to DDoS attacks. We moved to Digital Ocean form Linode.
Many of our clients use WP Engine hosting and very happy with support and speed (they use their own caching system).

Is it possible to edit the content in the backend without using the Visual Composer? Problem is that when using Yoast SEO I cannot see the content of the page while looking at the red, yellow, and green dots that tell me what is wrong and what is good to go.

There are 4 plugin that must be updated:
- Live Composer: from 1.0 to 1.1 updated at the start of august
- Meta Box: from 4.9.2 to 4.9.4
- Ninja Form from 2.9.58 to 3.0.6
- Wordpress Rankie: from 1.4.1 to 1.5.1

Live Composer – we have modified and optimized version (version numbers do not correspond). In short: these are completely different plugins now.
Meta Box – is free plugin that updates automatically form WP.org
Ninja Forms if a free plugin that updates automatically (but we do not recommend to update to version 3.xx until authors of premium extensions prepare compatible versions. For now NF PayPal Payments, NF Layout Master and Mailchimp do not work with NF 3 )
WordPress Rankie – will be included in the next update, but you can contact our one to one support to get file today.

I have problem after upgrade the last theme of seo wp theme . My page on wp -admin is perfect but if I logout and see my real pages , many error in some page My home page using theme in 2015 but my else pages using theme in 2016 .
- Did you update the Ninja Form? Please note the Ninja Forms Layout Master is not compatible with NF 3.XX. You can switch to NF 2.XX in the plugin settings.
- Please assure yourself the Live Composer – Google Map Module has 1.1.5 version.

The problem is some pages can not upgrade using new theme, My home page using old theme whereas theme on wp admin is the last theme

Looking to set this up quickly with limited pages and updated copy and seo. . Don’t need all the pages that are installed and links via the mega menu initially. I will – just not immediately. I am looking to rewrite copy and update meta info for each page – and then republish pages. Is there an ideal way to do this?

Hi, I love my theme so much, and I need the live composer to add and edit pages, however it causes so many issues such as, not able to render above the fold js, slow load time and makes adding AMP plugins not able to validate – so can I deactivate the Live Composer, and only activate and use it when I am editing. (once every 10 days or so)? will deactivating and then reactivating it when needed cause any problems? as I said again – I love the theme!

All the Live Composer content is stored in the WordPress database. The plugin deactivation doesn’t affect in any way the content, which remains stored in the database, even is not visible. At the time of reactivation, the content will be displayed without hassles.

Thankyou for the reply. So I deactivated the plugin as I had discussed after reading your reply. Well, guess what – my website disappeared except for a few remnants of the theme. So my question is: Is this theme actually a theme? or is it a live composer? I am confused as I have spent 6 months using the live composer to create my website for the seowp theme. I have now finished my website and am quite happy except for fixing page speeds, render blocking js and amp. So I want to deactivate the live composer as I will only need it occasionally. But – it appears that live composer is the theme? There is no website or seowp theme if a plugin called live composer is not activated? am I wrong, please advise.
