In the older versions, I could edit the style.css for some customization of my header location. Since updating to 5.0.1, all the code that used to be on style.css is gone. Maybe I’m going crazy, but where is the code now located? Thanks.

We strongly recommend that you do not edit the Avada stylesheets directly as it will mean that you loose the edits each time you update the theme. Instead a child theme should be used for custom edits:

Furthermore, if it is only CSS you changing/adding you can rather add it to the dedicated CSS section the Theme Options -> Theme Options >> Custom CSS
And, as of Avada 5.0 you can add custom CSS to specific pages inside the Fusion Builder -> http://d.pr/i/1hW7q

Hi guys, first of all…..great job with v5, just updated a couple of sites and all works pretty fine. Well, i wrote you because i have several Avada licenses all bought with one unique envato account. I registered all my products with API Key from themeforest API generator, but, on some site i can’t see the Avada 5.0.1 update notification….cant understand why because i checked all API Keys and purchase codes whic are all correct. Am i doing something wrong? does maybe the W3 Total cache plugin be the culprit? thanks in advance

There should not be any issues with Envato’s token generation method and we are not having this reported as an issue either. Let me suggest this, create a support ticket and include the token keys for each site and the WP Admin access credentials for each site so that we can take a closer look.

Hi Michael, thanks for your qick reply. Maybe i didn’t explain the problem well….The issue is that on some site whic runs Avada 4.0.3 and it’s regulary registered i can’t update to Avada 5.0.1 because i don’t see any notification for theme update. This has nothing to do with Envato token!

Hmm, if your installation is registered, then the update should appear in your WordPress dashboard. If it’s not, something may be interfering with the request that checks for updates.

Hi, My client purchased this them from you and I’m having trouble finding out how to get a little support on their behalf. I was just wondering if there is a custom code I can add to the theme to have shop page to show a counter for the feedback/ratings? Basically a number right beside the 5 stars to show how many ratings are on the item. In the product page it shows a number for the amount of ratings, but the shop page doesn’t show anything except the 5 stars even when more then 1 ratings are on the item. thank you!

I’ve bought several license for Avada….do I need to open a support account for each license or can I use one support account for all licenses? Hi, we need to upload a slide that is hand drawn. Is there a way to draw it at a size that will fit across the ENTIRE width of the Avada page? I tried 700×400 and it filled about 2/3rds of the page width, then I tried 2000×400 and it still covered almost same amount of page width, so not that much different. The point is that I can’t set the slider to 100% because it blurs up the graphics. So I need to set the slider length to around say 400px, and as wide (pixel) as I can go to cover the ENTIRE width of the slider or page (same effect as a 100% slider). So is there an IDEAL image size I guess that would fit perfectly on a 100%x400px slider (without the slider having to resize the image)? Hope this is making sense

Hi Guys, I installed 5.0 and also 5.0.1 but now the admin page editor will open just after 45 seconds. Takes a very long time. When i un install the theme. The page speed in the admin is back again. (meaning, clicking the edit link to edit a page. that load time is very long) other themes don’t take that long to open up the to be edited page. I also have unchecked certain elements but it just doesn’t work. The speed does not come back. I truly think it has to do with the new theme. i tried every thing. really everything. Re installed WP and the theme on a fresh DB, un installed all plugins etc. but it won’t do the trick.
What else can i do?

What we can confirm is that there are no performance related is with regard to the Avada 5.0+ theme options panel, and there can be various reasons why this might happen and not limited to: PHP configuration limits that need to be addressed as explained here -> http://bit.ly/1T5luaR , the number of plugins active, 3rd party conflicts etc

Yes for sure, it can be solid, transparent or partially opaque with a background image behind it 
And yes it can have a centered logo with menu underneath, for example if you use header 5 setup.

Ok it may seem stupid but how the h….. should i update from older version to 5.0.1 witouth ruining the theme shortcode? it is really impossible and i can not see any other way just to rebuild everithing again. Any solutions to fix this mess?

If you are updating a site from a version prior to the release of Avada 5.0, the conversion does need to take place for your content. There is no way to bypass that if you want everything to work as expected, unless of course you have a brand new install of Avada 5.0.1 and are not updating
When it comes to updating be sure to carefully read through and follow these update instructions and you will be fine. Rule of thumb is always to make a full back up of the theme, files and database first and that will work for you

Please make sure that you are on the latest version of theme that is 5.0.1 and also try disabling all your 3rd party plugins, try to load the theme options again and if you still can’t see it open a new ticket with complete WP admin details so our support reps can look into this issue as soon as possible.

I tried to install the theme update as suggested but the page converter seems like it’s not working properly. Luckily I backed up the site before and was able to restore it because the site was unrecognizable after the “awesome” new update. Pages are showing lines of script [fusion_title size=”2” content_align=”left” sep color=”#c9c9c9”...etc. What’s going on?

That simply means that you did not run the conversion process after update causing the old shortcode elements to not convert into the new elements. we have a very detailed article about this here : https://theme-fusion.com/fb-doc/technical/converting-fusion-builder-pages/#conversion
I want you to please go to Avada > System Status Tab and rerun the conversion from there, if you still have the issues please do open a new ticket and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
