How do I change the name of the plugin tabs names ’ ‘Popular’ ‘and’ ‘Recent’ in the menu appropriate to say, I have a WP Avada 4.0.3, I need a link.

I believe you are talking about the tabs widget, changing the default tab title will require you to customize theme files actually, or you can simply use translation technique to do so and change (translate) the strings to your own strings.

Since the new update, modals with Avada have changed. They do not allow for you to use columns or other Avada elements now inside the modal. Once you save/update your page, all the modal contents will be moved into the main page area and the modal will be empty. Please fix this, if it is a bug. if not there must be another solution. If any of my past clients update their avada to 5.0 it will mess up their site and modals. Will be submitting a ticket to theme fusion website also.

We can assure you that there is no issue with modals in our latest version and you should be able to use any element as well as column inside the modal content area, you can see them working just fine in our demo here that is on the latest version right now : https://avada.theme-fusion.com/modal-popup/
Please make sure none of your 3rd party plugin is creating this issue with the theme by disabling them 1 by 1 and if the issue persist you are always welcome to create a ticket and we will look into this as soon as possible.

Our staff replied to your ticket, then you replied back, currently it is in the que. However we are not able to reproduce it and modals work, you can see them on several of our demos.

However you have a ticket in and replying back here will only take us longer to get your the reply in the ticket, which is where we handle support. Please allow us to get back to you in the ticket.

There is not an issue with modals as we have them on many of our demos and they all work. However, we will gladly checkout your site and investigate why the markup you provided is not working (could be wrong markup, 3rd party plugin, etc) then we will set one up to show you.
But I do assure you, they work.
The access you gave us to your site is not admin access, which means we can only view the dashboard and not make a page, ecdit a page or even see pages. We replied back to your ticket to let you know.
Please follow up there as it will be faster. We will setup a modal on your site, and also explain why you were not able to with the markup provided.

This particular error you are getting indicates that your Fusion Builder as well as Fusion Core needs to be updated to latest version. Please make sure you are on latest versions of plugins, if you are on 5.0.2 the FB version should be 1.0.2 and Fusion core should be 3.0.2
However if you still get the error immediately open a new ticket and we will love to assist you with it.

Also if the above does not work, you may have some left over beta files that should not be there. I’d advise to delete all your current folders (Avada, fusion-core, fusion-builder) and install the fresh 5.0.2 version that is live. If not, submit a ticket and our team will gladly get it sorted for you

What do you mean by ‘Hide the Avada menu’? If you need to completely remove it from the page, you would need to edit the Avada template files and comment out the code that renders the menu. If you just need to hide it from view, the recommended method would be to use CSS.
While the plugin should work without needing to modify the Avada template files, if you do require assistance with this, we will need you to sign up to our support center and submit a ticket. Sorry to hear you are having this trouble, that should not be happening.
This is a situational issue with 5.0, can you please delete the 5.0 files totally (theme, fusion core, fusion builder) remove them. Then reinstall 5.02 and make sure it is 5.0,2 along with Fusion Core 3.0,2 and Fusion Builder 1.0.2
Once you delete the old, then just install Avada 5.0.2 theme folder, it will prompt you to install fusion core and fusion builder.

get automatic updates, so your installation is registered for automatic updates. it does not work we had to make the update manually thank you,

I am not certain about your last comment, however after registering for auto update you should be able to see the update notification in your update core area and then you have to check on the theme and click on update button once, that should do the job for you

Hello!
Our automatic updates are working on our end and for other customers. Now in 5.0, it works off the new Envato API (since the old one is being removed, it was a necessary change) but it only requires one token key. Very easy to setup and register. It should show a green checkmark once the key is inserted, then you are good to go. If that is not happening for you, definitely submit a ticket for us so we can check it out for you so it does not happen again

I have an Avada theme installed and registered but I would like to delete that registration and use this data in other of my webs becuase I am going to delete that the web registered.
How could I do it because Avada doesn’t let me delete and save the page registration with that data.

Your website is behind a maintenance plugin so we can’t take a look at it right now, however from your comment it appears to me that you are assigning the slider using a shortcode, when you do so the side padding of main content will also be applied to slider causing it to not span upto full width.
Please try and assign slider using Fusion Options > sliders as per this document post : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/sliders/how-to-assign-a-slider/

Update to 5 – will our site crash again?
Hi, since you urge us into another risky update instead of advice how to fix that “Tracking Code Bug” (see here: https://themeforest.net/item/avada-responsive-multipurpose-theme/2833226/comments?filter=all&page=1184) here are some questions:1: Will the update from 3.9.3—> 5 go smooth or do we have to expect another 24 hours of bugfixing, crashed website and beeing offline like the last time we updated Avada?

I got a problem thats driving me nuts since the update to 5.0. The image url is showing up in recent posts excerpts. WHY? and how do i stop it

You should actually see the image itself in excerpts instead of the image URL. Please check if the Strip HTML settings from the shortcode are set to OFF or ON. If they are set to ON you shouldn’t see neither image nor the URL of image, if its set to OFF you should see the image itself but never the URL.
You can also enable custom excerpt from Screen Options window on post editor. Incase you want to set a custom excerpt for the post and it will replace the original excerpt of your post hiding everything including the image URL

Presales question… with the help of plugins can I create a classified site using your theme? I purchased Classiera from themeforest and I find it difficult to do a lot of things I want to do. A friend of mine told me about your theme, and I’m thinking of switching but I don’t want to find out that I can do what I want but the classified features.

We’d love to have you aboard, however we have never personally used any classified plugin so far ourselves so can’t really provide a solid answer here tho there are many plugins available and you can always talk to the plugin author of any famous plugin for more detailed info. Some of their users must be using Avada as its the largest selling WP theme on TF at the moment.
