Hi,
Think I’ve found a small bug, It’s no biggie but wanted to let you know! When you put a Sound Cloud Social Icon in the footer, the Icon seems to be up higher/taller than the other social media icons.
I’ve had this happen on two sites now.

1. The font size is controlled by the size of the button you select as with all Nectar Buttons, editing it to a custom value for the 3D one would be more difficult than other styles though as it would take more than just CSS
2. There’s a GA textarea in the options panel > general settings > css/script related tab but there’s nothing in there by default, so unless you’ve already previously added it there will be nothing to remove

CSS is not used in the SVG element, it would require editing the JS which creates in it the init.js file

On mobile devices, I’ve run into a problem where the caption on the Nectar Slider for the homepage has disappeared and I can’t seem to figure out why.

hi, i’m trying to adjust size of padding of contact 7 form and when I try to inspect the element it says http://www.renttoownfirm.com/wp-content/themes/salient/css/ascend.css?ver=7.5: 868 or : 918—the problem is those lines aren’t there in the Editor. Where are they?

The ascend.css stylesheet is located inside of the css directory in the theme, in order to see directories via the WP admin editor you need to install a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-editor/

Hi, I’m having trouble working on a clients website. They are using salient. I have it set for “inherit row color” and it works great for desktop but i was wondering how you get this to work on mobile? Right now it is just a white header.
Also, I have a floating calender scheduling plugin and when it is active, the side menu button doesnt work on desktop. It works on mobile still though

Hey guys…loving the theme more and more everyday.
Question…perhaps I just don’t have my settings right, I don’t want any kind of header / header background to appear….but on mobile and tablet (portrait) a header appears and I cannot figure out how to remove it. I also want to be able to have my logo shrink about 30% at this screen resolution.

1. The only way to have the header BG transparent on mobile without custom modding is by using the permanent transparent header option in the Salient options panel > header navigation > transparency tab
2. There’s a field in the Salient options panel > header navigation tab to set your mobile logo height

1. So this was already set, but I double checked the settings were correct, emptied cache, etc and I’m still getting a color box on top of the page. I’ve included a screen shot so you can see (see link below). This is a really important aspect of what we are trying to do with the site aesthetically and we need this vertical space so I’m really hoping you might have a solution for us.
2. So I see if I adjust the value in mobile logo height it makes the color box on top of the mobile page HIGHER, but does not actually change the SIZE of the logo ….any suggestions? Could this have to do with the size of the transparent logos I have uploaded?
Also, I would like the logo to be FLUSH to the top of the page. If I set the padding to 0, I still get about a 15px gap. If I set it to 1 it seems to do the trick on desktop, but then there is a gap on mobile. Any suggestions / css that might fix this?
3. I’m having some issues with the title overlaid w/zoom effect on the portfolio grid that I’m using. As you can see from the screenshot the text is rough (looks fine on mobile). A. Is there a way to fix this and B. Is there a way to change the rollover / overlay color and transparency value on rollover?

1. When using the fullscreen header option the transparent nav is not available on mobile, however if you deactivate that option it should show as you desire

As of now you couldn’t achieve this without some custom development to the element – however if you just recreate that layout with using the text with icon element by using columns (one with an image and the other with text) you could easily manually wrap the img in an anchor

I can see that the script is indeed being added to the page via the raw JS element, unfortunately I can’t help you troubleshoot why your custom code isn’t working correctly as that’s beyond the scope of theme support
I am trying to edit a page with Visual Composer but I am stuck at the “Loading, please wait” message. I have the latest version of Salient. I’m currently unable to make edits to my page, which has a photo carousel.

It’s two rows, one with the parallax BG image set with some bottom padding and the other row with a blog element, with the column set to use a negative top margin which creates the overlap
