Hi! Our menu is fairly long, it looks ok on desktops but smaller screens like mac airs etc it wraps down. Then on phone is fine. What do you recommend besides shortening the menu? Think I could adjust the quires for it via custom CSS – to trigger mobile menu faster? Anything easier?
The most fantastic feature would be when the menu wraps, it somehow triggers the phone view automatically – that would be something for the list!!

As for triggering it sooner now – it wouldn’t be possible with css alone, js modding would also need to take place. I could provide css to make it not wrap though

Pre purchase question. Does this theme have layout templates that can be saved? For example, if a portfolio case study page payout is designed, but it be saved and reused for other projects in order to save time?

1. The current version of Salient (7.5+) now has a field in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab for adding in your API key. Once you provide a valid API key for google maps it will load
2. Have you verified that your child theme is not creating the issue?

Hey pors, yes – enable the mobile sticky header option in the Salient options panel > header navigation tab and then you can choose what off cavas menu style you’d like in the header navigation > off canvas menu tab
Hi, is there a way to make additional logo and menu coloring for different rows in a sliding one pager? I need them to be all white, all color, semi white and semi color (due to the background of my rows, those 2 options that are built in arent enough). How can I achieve that?

As of now that would require some custom development unfortunately, because there’s only two classes that get added, css alone wouldn’t be able to do the trick fully, JS work would be needed

I haven’t personally integrated any other shop system – it’s possible that some others ones would work – but there’s no extra styling I’ve added for any other than WooCommerce

Hi, I have an issue, I have a 2 row layout, left one contains text and the right one contains a white background color and a text on it, when it goes into mobile view, the white background covers the text thats on it. How can I fix that? (when I’ve put opacity on the background I can see that it is covering it)

I do apologize for the questions, I have some, and probably will have some more. Two this time:
1. The button color: is there an easy way to change the button color? here on the contact page for example, the button under the “contact us” form http://www.plusbonus.pl/kontakt2. Custom font. I tried adding a custom font “Butler” through the code, but the font was not added to the fonts, and did not appear in the fonts drop down, on the typography menu in the Salient options panel. (But I was able to add another font, using the same code, and it showed up on the font list), so I added the font through a plugin. It appears on the site, but not on the fonts drop down list, in the typography section. Would you know what might be wrong? This Butler font is a very popular one. And free.

and then code to style.css
@font-face { font-family: FontName; src: url(public_html/your-site/wp-content/themes/your-theme/fonts/FontName-Regular.ttf); font-weight: normal; }
each type of font separately, with its code. It worked well for one font, but it did not work for Butler.
How to add the Butler font?

In order to get the font to display in the typography options tab you would need to add it into the the salient/nectar/redux-framework/options-config.php: search for this to end up at the right location

The visual composer area has completely disappeared when I try to edit a page. I can edit in classic mode but I am unable to edit with short-codes. What could be the issue?

The only versions of Salient that are compatible with the latest WP are Salient 7.0.8+, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.12. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.
My category tags are working fine, but all my product tags are broken (e.g., black, white, etc.). They lead users to a 404 page. Please help!!

As I think you recommended, I just went into Settings > Permanlinks and then clicked the save button. Nothing new happened after that, except that some of my fonts changed for some odd reason. Anyway, I will send you the URL in an email.
RESOLVED: For some reason, the term I was using for the category tag and product tag were the same and was the reason why the category tags were only showing. Once I gave each a distinct term, it was resolved. Thanks.

hi, i have this problem. I’m using visual composer, i inserted 1 nectar slider in the first row, then i insert another nectar slide in a last row. When i save the page i have the slider on the top of the page after the first. why? thanks mauro

Make sure you only have the parallax option active on one of the sliders, as that option brings the slider to the top (and can only be used once per page)

I activated full screen rows, and set the footer to the default setting. The footer default footer does not show up. It stops and the last full screen row. Am I missing something?

Thank you for your help so far. I have a few more minor things.
1. when a build a page, using Visual Composer, I would like to be able to have 7 segments, in a row. When I try to make it, the system allows me to have only 6 elements, 3, 4 etc.
I tried to create this: to have 7 elements, 2 for the margins on the sides, and 5 for the elements with text. Is this possible? (it is for the contact elements below the “Contact text) plusbonus.pl/kontakt
2.the logo in the nav bar. It is not very sharp. it is blurry. is there something that can be done about it? For example, it is the same logo, in the nav and on the page below, http://www.plusbonus.pl/kontakt yet, they differ in sharpness of the image.
3. The portfolio is it possible, to have the same look of the full width portfolio, where the images are next to each other, soide by side, without the margins, but to have the portfolio block in a container, with the margins on the sides? the block of portfolios, and the white margin between the block and the end of the page. http:ww.plusbonus.pl/lookbbook (here I added the portfolio, but could not make it to achieve the “in container” look)

1. VC is built on a 12 column grid system, so as of now this isn’t possible
2. Try uploading the logo at the height you’re setting it to, i.e. 100. It seems you’ve uploaded it at 108
3. Add this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel:

Hi Themenectar! I love salient! I have run into one issues that I cannot figure out a solution to.
My URL is http://nerdrealtycma.com/sign-up/. I am trying to make the button that says “redeem your offer” go to the row below which is a sign up form using contact form 7. I have the sign up form row id as “redeem” and where it says link URL in the Button settings I put #redeem. However it does not scroll to that section when someone presses that button. I also noticed on your service demo when someone presses “show me how” it does not scroll/go anywhere. On your product demo the “discover more” button does exactly what I want which is scroll to the next section after clicking the button. What am I doing wrong?

There is a bug with “Full Height Rows” feature. When adding a new row the “Full Height” dropdown appears but as soon as editing the row, it disappears. Using latest Salient 7.5 theme.
Hey, you’re correct – it shouldn’t show up at first on row creation, as it should only be available when using the full width content row type. If you change your row to that it should always remain an option
