Hey Nectar quick question on what to do with using Woo Commerce with Salient. How do I change the padding when I install the shortcode, here is a link to my test page. http://newlnbbroductions.lnbbroductionstest.com/
How do I change the padding between the headline of the product and the pricing? It seems off, where do I go in the script to change the padding?
I am using the demo picture as a place holder for right now, let me know if thats a problem and I’ll take it off.
Also my recent products are off in their spacing and theirs only 2 when there should be four. I created four duplicate products to test the recent product shortcode.

It seems you have a pre tag added into the theme markup which doesn’t come standard in the theme and would cause this. Have you verified that no third party plugins you have active are causing this?

Damn man, I am not sure how would do that. Should I just try deactivating shopify? Could that be causing it? How would I delete that markup?

It’s a contact form 7 setup, you can use it within any demo or raw install of Salient. The minimal form styling option is also on in the Salient options panel panel > form styling tab

Instead of using a page header you could just use a visual composer full width background row and as shown in the corporate demo http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-corporate if you’re still trying to use a transparent header there’s an option to “Force Transparency On Navigation” in your page header settings metabox on a per page basis

Hi is it possible to have a toggle show just the +/-? So basically no title and no line under title and have the +/- centered? or have the title above the +/- (still centered)

Found a bug. Fullscreen height row when selecting middle or bottom column content position my content disappears. In top or default position, my content (text box) shows up.

Can’t open a ticket. This was all working prior to the 7.6 update. So since I don’t want to pay for support, I guess I can’t get help. But if it was working in 7.5 and not working in 7.6 that’s what I’d call a bug.
Could you at least share your URL so I can take a look? There might be some specific combination of settings you’re using that’s causing it to occur. The three demos which are using the fullscreen row feature are using 7.6 and also don’t show this issue currently
It’s in maintenance mode as I’m building it for a client. I do have screenshots of everything but not able to show you. Like I said, it was working in 7.5 but got killed after updating. I’ve tried every combination and still no luck. I haven’t touched any column settings, just the row setting. Let me know if I can at least send you screenshots to try and clear this up.

Hey, I added in the fix into your setup the other day. However it looked like at the time you switched to the parallax transition effect. If you want to switch back to the default scroll, please let me know if the fix applied for you
I’m trying to make a custom 404 page which has a transparent header. I’ve tried a few ways, editing your 404.php to add the nectar_page_header stuff or creating a real page in the WP backend and ticking the ‘force transparent header’ option then using a plugin to serve that page as the 404.
Neither works.
Is there a way to manually trigger the transparent starting header (without having permanent transparency on every page) on the 404?

Yes, it works fine if I create a page in WP and call it 404-not-found etc. But if I go to a URL that doesn’t exist like /4234hfsd/ I lose the transparent header. So I just wondered if there’s something else to add to the 404.php template to trigger it?

Do you think it’s possible to hide the logo on a non-transparent header on my homepage, but have it appear when the user scrolls down to the next full-screen row? When I was using a transparent header I managed to get that to work using .at-top #logo { display: none!important; } Now, using that code just hides the logo all of the time. I just want to hide it on the first full-screen row on my homepage. Possible? Site: here

Unfortunately there’s no way to handle this along when not using the transparent header option as the classes won’t be changing so modding beyond css would be needed

Just an FYI, Salient breaks checkbox and dropdowns in any forms created by FormCraft if the “Enable Fancy Select/Checkbox/Radio Styling” option is turned on. Prior to 7.6, it only messed up checkboxes. Now it also messes up dropdowns.

Just installed the latest 7.6 version of the theme, but the VC which came with it, is an old version (4.12.1). This might be the reason, why i cant update lots of elements. The green edit button on those elements doesnt show the edit icon.
solved: The new functions had to be activated in the vc options.

Hey, it depends on what you’re modifying in your child theme – what files do you currently have in there?
So far I have just activated the child theme and I have not copied any other files (for modification) over from the parent theme.

video background on ipad

Mobile devices do not allow autoplaying of videos for data usage reasons. Because the video background option is not meant to be used for information videos (with sound) and rather for videos that serve as a design element (no sound), the video background will be replaced with the preview image you supply.

I apologize if this has already been reported, but there seems to be an issue with the new icon element in visual composer.
Both an anchor tag and the i tag are contained within the nectar_icon div (I’m sure this was deliberate development decision) and as a result, when you add a link to the anchor tag, the icon itself isn’t clickable, but instead the space around it.
this isn’t so much an issue when using an icon with a border as users will figure it out, but when using just a plain icon, it’s difficult to understand that the actual icon is clickable.

What is the woocommerce account page styling?
Hey Shenjai, the last update updated the styling for the my account page within WooCommerce setups in Salient. The tabbed interface received icons and a UI structure, previously it was showing as just a browser standard unordered list
Hi how do I add images to the corner of rows like you have done in the app theme? When I add it to the background top right corner for example it covers the whole background and not just the top right.

wow this theme keeps getting better! i noticed there’s a slight background coloration bug at the slide-in sidebar menu. you can see it at the ECOMMERCE demo, open the slide-in sidebar and notice there’s two hues of color in the widget box. upon scrolling the color will jump between the full color and box color. just thought you might want to fix that.
my bad. i was using dual monitor earlier. might be my mac or the browser. slide-in menus seems fine.
