Hello,

I randomly have one image from my “latest post” that is not the same size as all the other ones. I can’t seem to figure out what is wrong. The image uploaded is the same dimensions as all the other ones.

Unfortunately not, such an option does not exisit witihin WordPress, but you can easily create new one, and to add widgets to WooCommerce Sidebar again.

The theme + hosting for $19 a month says you convert existing site to WP? does it have to be an existing WP site or can it be HTML site? Where can I get more information on this option?

Also what if I have an existing email setup with another hosting service?

Lastly, is there a widget or feature that I can use to have a pop-up on the main page to capture e-mail address if visitors chose to input their e-mail address?

The theme + hosting is Evato bundle and they provide featured services to end users so you should contact them directly for more informations.

Unfortuantely such an option does not exist, but you should be able to achieve this with some plugin like Ninja Forms for example.

Hello, I’m wanting to use some custom icons in this theme. Is there a way to import them into Bridge?

Theme is using iconic fonts from 3rd parties so icons within these fonts does not depend from us. For example if you want to additional icons fo Font Awesome http://fontawesome.io/ you have to contact them and to suggest new icon, and if it gets approved it will become available from one of future font updates, and also it will become available in the theme when we include newer version of the font.

Much easier option would be to create custom fonts as .png images and ti insert them where needed with single image element.

Unfortauntely you cannot animate images in a way like font icons. Unfortunately adding custom font (iconinc font) will require some advanced custom coding, we are sorry :( , but if you want to add additonal font for text elements, that can be achieved with some css code, and our support can provide you with instructions but you will have to submit a ticket at https://qode.ticksy.com

I’ve tried using the built in contact form as well as installing contact form 7, and neither are sending out the test emails I’ve been trying to send through my site. Any ideas? Both contact form 7 and built in contact form say that the message was submitted successfully…

Since forms are showing sucess message, this means that message is processed but email is not being processed by the server. Solutions:

1) Ask your hosting service does your mail server is enabled for your site? If no they need to enable mail server and you fill fix this problem

2) Ask your hosting service does SMTP username and pass are set for your site? If SMTP pass and user are set then you need to install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ and there to set these parameters (user and pass) and to check again this problem

After theme update, you just need to perform uninstall / install of required plugins in order to install latest included versions.

I moved my site from old domain to a new domain and the layer slider doesn’t work on the new site. Why is that? There is no error message.

When importing demo content, before you hit import, disable all 3rd party WP plugins (to free up server resources), then go to import and open chrome developer tools, hit Import and watch console for errors. When some error occur refresh import page and repeat the process http://screencast.com/t/hduqg0iPCR. Importing demo content must reach 100% without displaying error in console. So repeat it until console is clear (sometimes you have to repeat process for 10 times or more).

Please note that this is common issue when importing demo with all theme authors since demos become more robust so they can satisfy needs of all customers.

Common problem with Import can be WordPress memory limit and upload time, and it is good if you can increase these values or ask your hosting service to do that for you.

Try following workaround:

In your WP admin -> Qode Options -> Logo, make sure to upload your logo in all the fields there, instead of our default logos. That should resolve this.

if the warning is still on after it, you should then edit this file wp-content/themes/bridge/includes/shortcodes/shortcode-elements/slider.php , and you need to edit following part of code:

I’m using the plugin massive add on for visual composer, it works fine, but need some change for the mobile version, so they gave me th input to place a custom css i into Dashboard> Visual Composer> Custom CSS:

Yes, we have disabled that field because theme contain its own custom css filed, so you can place your code from Qode options > General > Custom CSS field.

We can’t tell you much from the provided screenshot. We are not aware of such an issue. Can you try to type address again, manually, and test this again. And also you can try to ommit “www” at the begeaning. I cannot add a ticket because my support has expired (BOO TF changed terms!)... I have tried variations of the link including just an internal URL and no matter what link I put into your Qode CTA, it is output as: http://$link/ so there is some tweaked code in there.

This is not an issue with Bridge theme. You simply need to use some SEO plugin, like Yoast SEO for example and then you can set titles for pages globally or per page. After that in order to speed up google indexing you can initiate new crawl from google Webmaster tools https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools
