Why are background images being put in at such a low quality and all pixalated?! Is this a setting?! I cant find it. This is the most intuitive theme ive ever worked with everything is all over the shop!

Most likely when you are inserting them, the wrong size could be selected. Look in the right sidebar when you insert an image, for example you can choose these 3 options: http://d.pr/i/HAKC
Make sure to select “full size”.
Also, if it’s a background image for a large section, then it has to be large enough to cover the section, if it’s smaller than the area it is going into, then the image will be blown up and look pixelated. For example, if you have a column that is 500px wide, but insert a 200px size image, it will be blown up to cover the background area which will make it look pixelated.

I don’t know how to enable the personalized color the the header.
In fact, when I chose a personalized color in a page, the sticky header color is which one I’ve chosen in the settings.

It depends on which exact area you are trying to change color for. There is the main header background, top header bar background, sticky header background, etc. Each option is named accordingly in theme options so check out each tab to ensure you are choosing the right one.

Hi, How do I get the revolution slider to go full width and touch the sides of a boxed layout like on your church demo? Tried everything, set padding for full width in the theme settings and made sure non is on the conainers but its spitting out 30px css padding left and right.!

If using boxed mode, make sure you use the 100% width page template, then your slider (as long as it is wide enough) will go edge to edge.
You can also import the church demo to see the setup, but that will overwrite your theme otpions as well.
So check to make sure you are using the 100% width page template, and the slider you are assigning is assigned via fusion page options and is wide enough to cover the area.

If you are adding the sldier to the page content area, then you will need to make sure the container it is has 100% interior content width set to YES.

I’ve downloaded 5.0.3 fine, but when trying to install the Travel demo, it doenst install every part – ie. some images are missing on all pages. I suspect this is down to the errors seen on my system status BUT with the help of Bluehost, I have set the memory to 256MG, the PHP time limit to 300 (which has now turned green, so that part is ok) and the PHP Max Input Vars to 1300. So I’m really confused. The errors still show. We tried to check the wp-config.php file to double check (as the system status suggests to do) and strangely can’t see ANY reference of ‘memory’ at all? Really frustrated as I really want to launch this ASAP! I’d be really grateful for your help. Thanks, Kate

Hmm it sounds like some of the data is just not importing, if any of it imports then your PHP settings should be fine. What browser are you using? Can you check another one to see if the images are there? Currently there is a report of some images not showing up in Edge for which we are fixing in our next release.

So everything imported but the menu? The Fashion demo only shows one main menu, is that part showing and you are trying to add a secondary top menu? If so you need to change header layouts as header 1 (which is used on Fashion demo) only allows one menu.

I get this error on one of my pages ‘Your page content could not be converted. Most likely it was created with an earlier (pre 5.0) version of Avada. To update old content to Avada 5.0 or higher, you must go through conversion.”But my version of Avada is 5.02.

That simply means your conversion process didn’t run properly or was incomplete, I want you to please update to our latest version 5.0.3 and then go to Avada > System Status there you will find a link to run manual conversion process once again.

But if I upgrade, what happens to my settings
That error should only show if you are already on Avada v5+ and then copied content from an older version, like v4+ into a new page on 5+. That can’t happen as v5 has a new code structure, so it would have to undergo conversion.
The best thing to do is open up a ticket for us so we can take a look at your site and see what is going on.

It must be due to your line height actually, please go to Appearance > Theme Options > Typography and set the line height for your headers or body font.

Hello, how can I configure the theme options in order to have the same homepage of the demo Architecture. I set the sllider position “Above” but the menu is not displayed. Only if I do the scrolling begins to rise upwards.

This feature is only available if you are using a Full Screen and Parallax Fusion slider and also the slider needs to be assigned from Fusion Options > Sliders tab.
Once you do that you should get the navigation at the very bottom of first screen, however if the issue persist please do open a new ticket and we will gladly assist you.

Hey there, I just updated to the latest version. Now I am getting this line of code when I activate the fusion builder.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/h/i/i/hiimdaviddd/html/freshcatchpoke/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/inc/helpers.php on line 1454
When I deactivate the fusion builder plugin, the site then loads up. However, there is a bunch of code scrolling throughout the whole page. We love this theme and have told others about it. Please help. Thanks.

This means your version of PHP is out dated and needs to be on PHP 5.3 or higher.
WordPress itself now recommends using PHP 5.6+ but we’ve made adjustments so Avada 5+ works with PHP 5.3 also.
You should be able to request your host update to PHP 5.3+.

Or you have not activated Fusion Builder plugin.
If you just updated to AVada 5.0 and this happened then you did not undergo conversion. If you did (based on the above post) then you need to go and update Fusion Core and then install Fusion Builder.

hi, I am using Ubermenu with Avada. I am using the Avada Classic Demo. The problem I am having is that when I use the UberMenu, the logo rests above the menu, rather than to the left of it. Is there a way for me to remove the page header entirely, or delete the logo, so that the UberMenu snaps to the top of the page?

This theme is driving me nuts! I’ve had issue after issue. Now I’m noticing that Avada has added unnecessary code to all of my existing blog posts. This pretty much insures that I can’t use any other theme other than Avada since the shortcodes are proprietary. Please tell me I can remove this?!

Are you sure you have fusion core and fusion builder active? My guess is you are seeing the actual markup which means the plugins are not installed.

These posts were created before I installed Avada. Avada DID inject code into the post. The Fusion Core/Builder plugins are irrelevant. The problem is that MY CONTENT was altered by your theme. This means I cannot migrate to a different theme unless I manually remove all signs of your thousands of [fusion-shortcode] instances in my database.

If the content is created using our shortcode then you should definitely be seeing the Avada shortcode related code inside the post content that is unavoidable and every theme that use its own shortcodes will do the same for you, however if the content was created prior to Avada and none of our shortcodes were used then you should only see the content inside a textbox element which can be copied / migrated as it is to any other theme when required.
However in case this is not the case for you and you need any further assistance, we request you to open a new ticket and we will take a look at this.

I’m sorry that you don’t seem to enjoy using our new version, because we believe it to be a super easy to user version, and many reviews we receive back this.
Regarding the conversion of our old shortcode syntax, there are two major points I want to clarify though:
1) If your posts contain plain text or HTML markup, like headings images etc., the 5.0 conversion won’t do anything to the post content. Avada does not inject additional markup or shortcodes in this situation.
2) If you use shortcodes in the post contents, these will be converted to the new syntax, which means that some additional wrapper shortcodes for container elements will be added. This is unavoidable. Having that said, I’m not sure though why you would not want that now, because you confirmed explicitly that you are ok with it, before conversion was run. In order to make sure, that conversion does not start accidentally, we added the confirmation checkbox, which also makes sure that every user read what would be done during conversion. By checking that box and hitting the “Start Conversion” button you explicitly allowed Avada to do the needed changes.
Still, as additional fallbacks, we also tell everyone on that splash screen to do a database backup before conversion, so you should have an easy to restore db image, if you don’t want to use the new syntax. We even created a backup of all converted posts for you during conversion, so you can undo the changes with the click of a button. Just go to Avada menu > System Status and find: http://i.imgur.com/dECZfVG.png
So although you confirmed to be good with the needed changes, you should have 2 simple ways in store to revert any changes made by the theme.
In general, any shortcode based theme or builder will have to use its own shortcodes and there will be some efforts needed to change to a different theme. That is not unique to Avada in any way, and is widely known to WordPress website creators.
I hope that the above clarifications will help you to get your old data back, if you prefer to have it, or that you find delight in working with Avada 5, so that you don’t see any need to change the theme.

In a way yes, whenever you import a full demo from the Avada > Demos tab, it changes all of your theme option settings to match the new demo, so your old pages will look different style wise since global theme options have changed.
The best thing to do is use the Fusion Builder, it has a Library that allows you to import any single page from any of our demos. But doing it this way, gives you the skeleton layout and does not change theme options, so you will need to make adjustments to the page as you would like it to be, but that is best so it does not mess with your other pages.

Hi there,
What is the right and easiest way to update a theme from v. 4.0.1 to a current one.
We clicked autoupdate a theme’s feature inside an admin, but nothing happened.
Should we delete all files (theme and plugins – all of them?) and insall a new version of everything?
We have a demo shop now, and can easily to change everything.

An update from 4.0 to 5.0+ version should actually be straight forward with no issues at all, Auto Update should do the job just fine for you however we have complete instructions on update below.
