I’ve already brought two licences of this beautiful theme, considering purchasing a 3rd. However I’ve had a little trouble getting some of the new features to work. Two in particular I’d like for the 3rd project with Bridge:
1. On your demo below the new marquee shortcode (can’t work out how to use this either) you have a grid of 9 images featuring your demos. How do you get the text with the white background to show on hover. I really like this simple effect but I can’t ses how to do it.
2. Then below the above you have two images one on top of the other that rotate when you click the bottom image. I’ve no idea what shortcde does this or how to do it.

New landing page demo is available for import with latest theme version http://screencast.com/t/lQRVVBbGvl so you can check these elements by importing it, and in case that you don’t want to install it on live domain, it is good practice to install WordPress on your local machine (localhost) and then to try different demos. In this way you can see which options we used and you can reproduce that on your live page.

Thanks for the lightning quick response. On the cards gallery, I tried that, It wipes out all the content on the page? Do the images have to be the same size? Or are there additional settings?

Image have to be the same. In the demo we have used images which are in following dimmensions 1122×702px. Only specific width of columns is present for the setup – columns are set as full width and width is altered from responsive options http://screencast.com/t/iuQwTAXdfBcL
Maybe you can simply copy entire shortcode from that page to some testing page on your live site and then to just upload images to elements needed. Also our support can send you code from the page but you will have to contact them by submitting a ticket at https://qode.ticksy.com

How come my logo does not scale down when I resize the browser? Now the logo slides over the main menu, both on the desktop and tablet. Is there anything I can do about that?

If logo is to big (big width) and there is lot of 1st level menu items, overlapping may occur. This can be fixed by setting header to be full width from Qode options > Header http://screencast.com/t/nsLzaeVJ189 or you can better organize your menu and to set some 1st level menu itmes to be 2nd level items.
In case that you need to keep current menu setup, our support can prepare some custom css code in order to adjust menus size on smaller screens, but you need to submit a ticket at https://qode.ticksy.com . Also provide a lik to your site in your ticket.

Hi, I just need to know if we’re due for a Bridge update. My webhost recently updated to MySQL 5.6 and since then, Bridge has thrown a major error that has caused my site to be inaccessible.

Theme is working fine with MySQL 5.6, and theme is compatible with WordPress requirements https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ . Maybe you are having issues if you are using some older version so please make sure that theme and plugins are on latest versions.

You need to generate shortcodes on some testing page and then to copy shortcode code to desired widget area text widget. Such an option does not exist unfortauntely 
. Related scripts are being loaded from same file so they will be loaded by the theme all the time unless you enqueue edited script from the child theme. Back end links are loaded from our framework and they cannot be overriden from the child theme, but you can hide these menu items with some admin css code. Achieving this will require some custom coding, and although we cannot set it up for you our support can give you additional details but you have to contact them by submittting a tikcet at https://qode.ticksy.com

Sorry but such an option does not exist in page options so you can only set it globally, but actually you can try to set negative top margin for the row at the top of specific page in order to achieve simillar effect.

Those are default values from lightbox script being used, and size will vary on different screen sizes because of responsivness, and changing this isn’t possible to achieve without some additional theme coding. Hi. Before i buy your nice theme, i would like to know whether you have “photo albums” included. i.e. i want to have a landing page with thumbnails of various topics (e.g. boats, weddings, dogs, cats etc….) and when you click on a thumbnail, it shows you the images in that album on another landing page. thank you.

We were working on Visual Composer 4.12.1 and they released another update so we are now working on a major theme update which will include latest Visual Composer 5 and some theme and plugin compatibility fixes, and there is still a lot of work which needs to be done. We don’t have exact date of release but we hope that it will be soon. Until then, please use currently available version.

Hello – I am wondering if there’s a way to have one page that does not include the standard header and footer. I don’t want to use a landing page theme, just enable one page without these two elements. You don’t seem to enable layouts on the pages so not sure how I would go about creating this beyond putting this page on a subdomain with a copy of this theme.

Log can be added from Qode options > header.
Also full screen menu contain one widget area below menu items, and although you can add widgets inside of it, since full screen menu can become crowded with items on smaller screens, you shouldn’t use multiple widgets or text widgets which contain long contact form.

Such an option does not exist because we didn’t integrated it yet, since majority of mobile browser do not support fixed positioning, and because of that some theme functions do not contain cacluclations for content position when header is set as fixed which will result in bad user experience and additonal modifications are required.
