There is option to enable Ligthbox in single portfolio items http://screencast.com/t/YexFxheacU8 We could suggest to try to go to Select Options > General > Page transitions and there set No animaition http://screencast.com/t/1oiLKd37si and then try to use your plugins again. If there was conflict ajax script, on this way you’ll fix it.

? “just click on the file URL” ?? Images upload to the Media Library, but they don’t select to become Page Background Image etc. The field just remains blank. I cannot even change the logo.

I submitted a ticket 2 days ago – PUBLIC TICKET #916275 I just posted a private reply with WP access to the site. Go in and try to change the logo, or favicon, or add a page background image. I have tried deleting the theme and re-installing it.
