I am having some trouble with a video background section in the safari browser. A few seconds in to the playback the whole video shifts up about 60 pixels and reveals the background behind it. Any idea what this could be?

Different browsers support only certain types of video file formats, so you have to provide all three (webm, mp4, ogv) video formats (fallback) and a preview image, since some browsers (PCs/laptops) can only play certain type of video. Hi, thank you for your answer. I did convert the file and currently have all three formats uploaded and linked but safari still does the same little shift after a few seconds of playing unfortunately. Do you have any other suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Hi, thanks for the update.

However, even with update and PHP set to 5.6, the error ‘unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM’ in ’/wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/lib/qode.layout.php on line 2738’ persists.

It also seems that whenever Bridge is activated, PHP is automatically set back to 5.2. Is there a script that needs to be changed?

Bridge theme does not force PHP version in any way, and we have never encountered user with similar issue. You shoult try to update the theme to latest version by following instructions from the theme documentation http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/2-getting-started/2-3-installing-the-bridge-theme/2-3-4-theme-update/ since maybe this is caused by some modification on the theme version which you are using.

I have uploaded the latest version of bridge to my website via sftp and yet the same issue re-occurred.

I updated by deleting the old bridge file and uploading the new bridge file. Also, I use a child theme in order to avoid making any changes to the main theme. So I can assure you that the theme I’m using has not been modified in anyway and if it has been modified, the modification occurred at source.

I have told my host about updating PHP and they are working on increasing my PHP limit. I would still appreciate any helpful pointers you can provide.

Touch devices do not have hover state, so you cann’t expect that hover effects will work, and even if effect works on some devices, it will not work on all touch devices. 1. I’m using your great template (http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge53/) for my website. In the home page I used the portfolio list, and in each photo just the ZOOM button appears, I also check “Show View Button” but without success. (I would remove the zoom button OR add the view button)

2. In the same template I created a portfolio_page, in that page I have all the items included within a portfolio category, in this case passing over each image/item there is only the ZOOM button. also in this case I Would remove the zoom button or add the view button.

Hover state depends on hover animation type which can be set when you edit portfolio list element, and by setting it to default http://screencast.com/t/4JihJhdOfjPx will show view and zoom buttons.

Now, using the website with mobile phone (e.g., iphone 6s) each portfolio_page has the header image that have disabled.

I’m rebuilding my site and I started with one language then installed WPML for the other language. I translated the portfolio items and the category names but the portfolio list VC item is not showing the translated portfolio items. Any tips?

Hello friends, in our website trendsstudio.es we have problems to load some pages in some devices. I don’t appreciate a pattern, but different customers said me website is not loading correctly, in major cases problem occurs in tablets, but sometimes it happens in PC too. Except that your site is loading slower then ususal we couldn’t see anything else. Maybe you can try to optimize site for speed, and also since you are using a bit older theme version with visual composer, you should try to update to latest versions.

Thank you for your answer. I updated the theme version, but please if you have a tablet go to http://www.trendsstudio.es/projects/ and you will see that when you try to scroll down the screen gets blocked. Sometimes if you reload the page it doesn’t happen again, but the first time when a normal user is browsing it happens. Regards.

Original demo is using 218×118px images, so if you want to achieves same effect, you should use images in these dimmenisons. Demo content also contain posts, but probably they won’t match the ones on your live site. Solution with pages should do the trick but make sure to create full content and database backup just in case that something goes wrong.

Hi again, I have one more thing to ask you: I have a problem with headings. When I set custom values for H1 or H2 in Qode Options, it doesn’t affect H1 or H2 created in Text Block (http://prntscr.com/d9wymc). Do you know what is possibly wrong or where can I change size and font for H1 and H2 created in Text Blocks? Now when I choose for example different size in Qode Options, it makes no difference in Text Blocks.

Hi Qode, I have a small question about customizing the post title. When I make a new post, the title (inside the page) has by default H2 attributes (http://prntscr.com/d9wv0w).
