Our events view is achieved with the help of Events Calendar Pro plugin that comes with the Events Countdown and Events list widget with extended options. But please note that Pro version should be purchased separately as this plugin is prohibited from third-party distribution..
In the Events Calendar plugin you can use basicEvents List widget.

Hello. I’m so excited with this theme! I have the intention to buy it as soon as possible. I just have one question before I do it… I’ll be putting the website togheter in a domain, but when its done, I want to migrate everything to a different domain. Is it possible? Things will get messed up? The thing is that I want to realease my new website at January 1st 2017, and I need to be sure I will be able to do it with no problem. I need all photos, texts and everything right when I migrate it… I’m sorry if it is a silly question. Thanks

Sure, our customers often elaborate their sites on some test domains first and then move them. We’d advise you to backup your site before migration and then export the content from it so that you could import it afterwards on your new domain. Besides we recommend our customers to use Search And Replace tool, it’s proven to be helpful.

All good, it just imported everything but the menu :

Repeats that about a dozen or so times, (senior developer here 12 years experience) I just changed the slug and it worked.

So I’m sure that there is probably an easy fix for this that i am just overlooking, but is there any way to change the color of the search bar. When you click on the search icon the background color is just the stock blue and I wasn’t sure where to go to change that. Really appreciate the help!

Love the easy and flexibility of the site! Just having a few minor issues. On the sermon page, I clicked on the option for “pagination”. When doing that, only the menu header shows on the sermon page. If I don’t click on pagination, then all sermons show up on the page.
Regarding the calendar. When I enter the code [tribe_events] the calendar doesn’t come up. The webpage actually shows the code i entered instead of the calendar or timetable.

Hello! I bought this theme and love it! It’s everything I needed for the nonprofit camp for kids of deaf adults (KODAadventures.org) that I’ve cofounded 
Question: if we wanted to add a way for people to register to set up a profile for their kids so they can fill out registration forms and pay for their kid online, how would we be able to do that? Set up a membership site or something? Thank you!

At the moment users can only register to set up a profile if they have one of the appropriate WordPress user roles. Some third party plugins might provide wider functionality for this purpose, but we can’t advise such plugins at the moment as we haven’t implemented tests. Appreciate your understanding.

I’ve been updating our site but noticed that in the demo there was an email subscription section, but upon the demo installation, there wasn’t a spot to set up an email subscription. To activate the Donate button please activate the CMSMasters Donations plugin, proceed to Theme Settings – General – Header and check the Header Donations Button.
By default the Donation button links to the donation page. If you need to set the Donations page with the form like on our demo please proceed to Settings -> Donations and choose the Donations Submit Form Page from the drop-down list.
To edit the Donations page please proceed to Settings -> Donations -> Form and choose all needed settings.
As for the Subscription form on the homepage – it is made with the help of the MailPoet Subscription form widget added to the Subscribe Sidebar. Please see the form settings. To add the sidebar to the page we used the Sidebar shortcode with custom class: custom_subscribe. And we added the following custom css code to Theme Settings – Elements – Custom codes tab:

As for the colors – please note that you can use needed custom color scheme for the section with Subscribe sidebar. Please set colors in Theme Settings – Colors tabs.
Concerning the MailChimp – the matter is that such functionality isn’t available, though you can use a third party plugin for this purpose, we just can’t recommend any at the moment. Appreciate your undersatnding.

Hello, very nice theme. I’m really thinking of making my church to buy this theme but I need to be sure of a few things…
1. Does the theme come with only 2 header styles?
2. Is it possible to change the color of the header background on the home modern style to any preferred color?
3. Is possible to change the background of the footer to any preferred color?
4. I have also seen you’ve used the portfolio/project feature for the ministries page. Is there an option to remove these: Likes, Author, Dates and Categories? They will not appropriate for our ministries/department pages.
5. My greatest concern is also our logo; it’s a bit large and it’s blue and green colored logo. I’m just hoping it will fit well and look good on the header area.
I will really appreciate it if you are honest about them.

1. My Religion theme comes with demo content for two different site styles, but it has universally useful functionality and the design can be customized according to your requirements.
The theme includes our elaboration – Visual Content Composer with a huge custom shortcode collection. If you’d like to see how our composer works, how shortcodes can be managed, please pay attention to videos under Features menu item here. They are recorded for another product from our portfolio, but general idea for My Religion theme is the same.
2-3. Theme colors are flexible, they can be changed using handy color settings, both globally for the whole theme and on-page too.
4. Likes, Author, Dates and Categories fields can be easily removed in the Theme Settings.
5. Concerning the logo – the matter is that there is no strictly recommended logo size. For superior performance on Retina displays, logo image is added in two sizes. It is recommended that you add an image for Retina logo twice larger than your default logo. For example at our demo we use images that are 81px × 90px and 162px × 180px for simple logo and retina logo respectively. Hope it can be helpful.
You can also change the Header Middle Height to display your logo properly.

The Gallery page presents different variations of the Gallery shortcode. All the shortcodes are flexible and can be used for different post types. You can add any shortcode to any place within content area, there are no restrictions. So you can add galleries to the pages/posts/projects/profiles you need, it’s absolutely possible.

In fact Donation button links to the donation page by default. If you need to set the Donations page with the form like on our demo, please proceed to Settings -> Donations and choose the Donations Submit Form Page from the drop-down list.

If you need to change the link please open my-religion/framework/function/template-functions.php file and edit 195 line – you need to delete the area that I pasted and entered needed link here.

Humm, I’m still confused. The Slider that comes along with this theme is the Slider Revolution, is it correct? But It’s showing it’s not activated. I’m just trying to include a new slider.. It was working, but with the original Theme Sliders.. When I create a new one, it doesn’t work.

The theme comes with two slider plugins included (Layer slider and Revolution slider). There is no need to activate the plugins because purchase code isn’t required for proper slider functioning. It allows to get plugin updates via dashboard, though it’s not necessary as updates for the slider will be provided in theme updates on Themeforest.

Hi, Thank you for your quick respose to my last question. I have another question. I have set a first level menu item “Who Are We” then a second level menu item “Board of Directors” and then “Honorary Members & Observers” as third level menu item. When viewing the site on my phone once I tap on “Who Are We” I can see “Board of Directors” and when I tap on “Board of Directors” it shows me “Honorary Members & Observers” and if I tap on “Honorary Members & Observers” I am the taken to that page. So the only way to see the “Who Are We” and “Board of Directors” page is via search function. How do I change this? I want user to be taken to Who Are We page when you tap on it. As much as we’d love to help, there’s no possibility to implement the result you’re describing. All touch devices work such way: the parent menu item can have only one touch action – it is either clickable, or opens a submenu. In fact that makes sense – otherwise subitems couldn’t be reached any how.
If you have some parent menu items with links, they won’t be opened. And on the other hand, if you don’t have any submenus – the link will work.
You may create another submenu and paste there the link from the parent one, and leave in the parent menu item symbol # in the link field.
When a menu item has no link or # instead of it – it won’t lead to any page and will just open a dropdown with submenus.
Hope the explanations are clear, kindly let us know if any further details are required.
As to the profile, which is clickable – first of all we’d advise you to make menu fit the navigation area. When it’s out of it, “linking area” of menu items overlaps heading area, that’s why it seems like page title is clickable. You might want to diminish padding for each menu item, for this purpose please use the following code in Theme Settings – Elements – Custom Codes – Custom CSS:
.navigation > li > a .nav_item_wrap {
padding: 5px 15px;
}
And save changes. Please let us know about the results on your end.

I like the look of the site on a MacBook but it doesn’t seem to work on an iPhone or iPad. I tired viewing http://my-religion.cmsmasters.net but still can’t see the top slider. Am I doing something wrong? I’d love to get the theme but can’t risk paying for it if I can’t see how it really works on the iPhone and iPad.

It’s absolutely normal, that the slider can’t be seen on smaller resolutions, as we disabled it on purpose in slider settings. So you can decide, whether to show it or not on your end. Is there anything else you’re confused with concerning displaying on iPhone and iPad?

Filter and sorting aren’t available for the sermons, appreciate your understanding. You can still view sermons by category, you can select one (or several categories) in shortcode settings and add a title (via Heading shortcode, for instance) pointing which exact category is listed below.
