Just installed the theme and going through setup. Now when I go to Theme options, it returns a blank page.
Trying to search for solutions but nothing. Please assist to fix the issue, otherwise may have to ask for a refund.

I think you have not installed all the theme required plugins or may be your server settings is not meet with the theme’s requirements:
Optimal Server Requirements:
Server Type: Linux with cPanel ( Bluehost hosting Recommended ) PHP version = 5.4 or greater Apache = 2.2 or greater MySQL = 5.5 or greater PHP Memory Limit = 256mb PHP max_execution_time = 1o00 seconds mod_rewrite Apache module = Enabled
If you are installing through WordPress Theme section, make sure your PHP Upload File Size limit is 40MB, since the theme .zip file is around 40MB
Please make sure all above settings are correct on your server, before complaining about theme issues. You can contact your web hosting company.

If you want to build a Multi-Lingual site then you have to use any one Multi-language plugins available on WordPress.org in your site
OR
If you want to translate the site only in a single language then you have to translate the theme’s default languages files into your language. You can find these files inside wp-content/themes/porto/languages folder en_GB.po and .mo files.

Just installed the theme and have gone through the initial set up. I’ve started making edits to fonts and colors but none of the changes are taking after I’ve saved them. Do you need to flush cache every time you make edits or something? I’ve tried compiling and that didn’t update it either.
Still can’t figure this out… any chance this is a conflict with multi-site?

Yes, if you are using any cache plugin then you have to flush cache every time. I suggest yu that please deactivate the cache plugin of your site during the development of the site it is easier and best way to build your site in easy and fastest way.
If your changes still not showing on the front end, then it’s the permission issue. Your server did not give permission to add / save the settings of the Theme Options. Basically, when you saved the theme options then it’s created the skin_1.css file inside the CSS folder, because of permission the theme is not able to create this file into your site. Please contact your hosting provider to change the permission to 777 or 755 of the CSS folder and all files.

Sorry, I should have posted a reply – I found that when I uploaded the files via FTP that the ownership rights weren’t applied correctly. That had to be causing the problem. It was a permissions issue.

1. Please make sure that your theme is updated to the latest version and also you have enabled the image lightbox option from Appearance >> Theme options >> Portfolios >> Portfolio Archives >> Image Lightbox.
2. If you want to translate these words and other English words then you have to translate the theme’s default languages files into your language. You can find these files inside wp-content/themes/porto/languages folder en_GB.po and .mo files.
If you are not able to do that then please give us WP admin and FTP login details of your site and hosting so we will do it for you.

There is something else:
We have Header Type 2 and we need social icons on the right, how can we activate them? We tried different things at Header – Social links and at Social Share options but nothing, still social icons don´t show up, how can we do it?

Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Social Links >> Enable the social links and add your social links to the particular fields. Then these social icons will show on the header.

Apart with the last update to 3.3.3 version of the theme, the 4 image blocks under Main Slider got rounded edges, how can we turn them back to squared corners?

1. No, it is not possible that the header of shop 6 blocking the icons. I think then you have not enabled the Header Top from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Show Header Top.
2. Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Compile Default CSS >> Border Radius = Turn it off.

Ok – 1. We got social media icons! Thanks.
2. For this one Border Radius was OFF, and we still have those rounded edges, but it´s funny because they olny on the top corners of the images, at the bottom the images are squared.
