Well if you have a conditional set for n X field to only show when another radius is set to “yes” it will not work, because the X field is already visible. Also the TOTAL is not updating with live calculation of price.

Presale question; This theme looks great, but I’m concerned with the update frequency(last updated 31 October 2016) and lack of support for the latest version of Wordpress? Are you busy working on a new theme, or what is your update schedule?
Hey digitelle, there is only one minor known issue with WP 4.7, a single Salient theme option has been hidden, which will be fixed in the upcoming release. The update due out next is major, which is why there’s a longer than normal gap Usually updates are released every other month (or more if needed for bugs). However, this update will be the largest Salient has ever received – so it’s taken some time to ensure things were done right

Ah sorry for being a bit unclear! I just purchased the theme(haven’t had the time to install yet) and I was wondering if it was possible to build and edit pages without them going live publicly on the current page? I doubt anyone will be on the page while I perform the changes, but just in case.

Is there anyway i can get a single row to become full height WITHOUT using the activate full screen row option at the bottom of the page. Eg if i wanted a row with an image(logo) heading and sub heading text to become full screen, how could i get that.
Also, is there any way of getting a logo or image inside the image/video headers in addition to the text heading and sub heading??

1. The option for this is coming in the upcoming update – for now you can get close to that by using % padding values on the row. E.g. 20% for the top/bottom row padding will yield a responsive tall row
2. For now not without some custom modding but i’ve noted the idea for the wishlist

However since you’re on an earlier version of the theme I would recommend updating to avoid conflicts with the current WooCommerce

After a WP update, the cushion on my header (where the logo is) changed. Now, the header is covering up the top of my picture. I have decreased the Header BG Opacity from 100% to 1%, but I would like to find a way to leave the overlay at 100% and move the picture back down to where it was. Please help. I was able to change the grid style to (Meta on hover + entire thumb link) which did make the whole thumbnail a link but it also remove the ‘View Larger’ button. Is there a way to use the ‘Meta on hover + entire thumb link’ grid style but keep the ‘View Larger’ button?

Hey – that’s correct, the only style that offers the text button is the first one. Keeping it while having a full link would require some custom modding

Hello guys! I’ve made my website and it worked perfert the first time. Now (3 month later) i’m trying to add new porfolio items and it’s not working good. I create a new item, in the page builder section im loading a template and it works. but wen i save (not publish, save) it reload everything and the page builder section is clean… i’ve tried to load item by item and it dont work neither.

On the portfolio section, we’re using Custom Content Grid Item Content so we’re able to open the portfolio content in a new tab.
The only issue is that the links are not opening on a new page, they’re opening in the same page. How can I add the target blank attribute so the portfolio items can open in a new tab?

What’s the suggested method using Salient to make font sizes responsive between large and small displays? The only units inside Settings/Typography seem to be px and I’m presuming that we don’t have to resort to messy custom CSS on a fully responsive theme?
I have a web page layout in dev that looks beautiful on 1920×1080 resolution but absolutely awful on 1366×768 with header text overlapping the logo at the top and body text too large for that screen size.
I don’t want to just turn down the font size globally, as that’ll make the text smaller on large displays and give too much empty space!
Could adding em / rem units be part of a future theme update?

Please share your URL in regards so I can take a look at your settings. There is responsive logic for h1-h4 tags in the theme but body text and header nav sizing are not changed from large to small desktop monitors.

The URL is www.telecomscloud.com – it looks lovely on a Full HD monitor (1920×1080) and I’ve managed to add custom CSS as you’ll see to make it look better on smaller laptop screens (1366×768).
I’m struggling to make it look decent on my Nexus 5X, and I presume the font size is too large on other smartphones too. I’m no expert in media queries and responsive design My friend’s laptop has a resolution of 3200×1800 with a browser screen size of 1280×630 and the heading is all overlapping the logo on that too 
It also didn’t cope well when I tried it on a 1920×1080 projector where Windows 10 had decided (in the display settings) to scale everything up by 150%! Argh!
On a slightly different note… I’m using secondary navigation and for some reason although that disappears correctly when you scroll on mobile, the main menu doesn’t move all the way to the top of the screen. Not sure if that’s something I’ve caused with my modifications? I followed your advice in another comment to cause that to go transparent when scrolling, and added that in via a little custom plugin.

The problem is that you’re using a Nectar Slider for this – you have a lot of text in there and with the design you’re trying to achieve, it’s not a suitable solution. You should use a regular visual composer row set to full width background. You can add your video BG in there but also set top/bottom row padding to always keep the correct space between your header as you’d expect

I want the first row only to be full height, but I can’t see any options on the row itself to turn on full height, only the page-wide setting to make all rows full height.

The option for a single row to be full height is coming in the update due out shortly – for now to get a similar result just set the top/bottom row padding with percent values – e.g. “10%”

The meta overlaid blog already has a background overlay of slightly black to make the text legible. Are you just trying to make that darker? If you just want a second overlay on the text, add this into the custom css in the Salient options panel
