Bought this theme earlier based on how gorgeous it looks in the browser, installed it and so disappointed in the way the back end works. The way in which you add testimonials – as a media item – being just one example. Then you have to go in and edit the home page to link up said testimonial. So convoluted. I’ve built around 200 websites with themes from ThemeForest so have a pretty good idea on what i’m doing – this theme just seems backwards. It should be making your job easier not harder. Now instead of adding a testimonial in a custom post type that then automatically shows up in a desired space (home page carousel) I have to complete two tasks in order for said testimonial to show up.

We believe that you really don’t need to create a new Custom Post Type in the WordPress hierarchy like you do for page, portfolio, blog or products just for a testimonial. Uncode solution is different but it’s not wrong. We want note that Uncode is not an amateur product and it’s one of the Envato top seller themes, this mean it’s first severely tested by ThemeForest and trusted by 17.000+ users that create awesome stuff with it. Anyway if you don’t like the Uncode workflow and you feel this is not solid product you can always ask for a refund. Don’t worry.
Hey,. Im not disputing the amount of sales you had, just that the way you’ve gone about adding features – meaning we have to do double the amount of work to add a testimonial as an example – seems very odd to me. Going to play with it further today and ill let you know if we opt for a refund once i’ve spent more time with it.

Is there any speed controls available for the sliders? I’m using the Classic Business content block, but can’t find any way to control how long the slides remain visible before changing to the next? I did a search on the comments here too and was unable to find an answer.

Thanks. I like the quality of the theme, you can tell it’s been very well coded (ive used hundreds of themes so have seen the best and have seen the worst.) From that perspective, the code is very efficient, especially in respect of how feature-rich the theme is… which ‘usually’ adds bloat. Yours does not.
As I said previously, I wasn’t sure on the process of adding testimonials and things, it feels a bit convoluted, and thats one area i haven’t looked into yet. Once I start playing with that area, I might well begin to love it… time will tell. Certainly from a design perspective, it’s one of the best themes on the market.

Now I wanted to relaunch my own page with another license – but couldnt manege a problem: I’m a fan of background-pics and sidebars. But there is always a gap between a limited content area and sidebar right! Any idea how to fix it with some css-code? Thank you!!!

No, I absolutely do not and have never had the native version of Visual Composer installed/activated on the domain I’m using Uncode’s Visual Composer (or theme) on, so it’s not that WPB is expecting me to pay for a license outside the theme. The last time I asked you all to deal with this, your response to me was that I needed to uninstall the native version. I have never had the native version of Visual Composer installed on the domain I’m using your theme on.
I understand that updates to the native version of Visual Composer do not mean that there are updates to Uncode’s customized version of Visual Composer, but can you all at least update the version number of your customized version of Visual Composer, so we can possibly stop being asked to update to the latest version?
Maybe if the version numbers match, we’ll stop seeing the request to update to the latest version of Visual Composer. You all are apparently using enough of the original plugin for us to continue to be instructed to update.
It would be greatly appreciate if you could deal with this annoyance.

There is nothing we can do to stop a bundled plugin to not show this message, this are the Envato rules. Anyway as confirmed you don’t have to worry about this. Have you some issues I have not evaluated. Let us know if you need more infos!

I noticed that the UnCode Portfolio Photo has some social sharing buttons on each photo of the gallery, but in the live demo mode it just shares the whole page and not the single photo.
Is it possible to share the single photo? Thanks in Advance!

Uncode use a famous lightbox plugin here, when you share the image in the preview you have the page but the link is the one of the image, you can test that when you open the link from the social you are redirected to the page but with this image opened in the lightbox. Let us know if you need more infos!
Hello, don’t worry for the delay! I tried and it works as you said, linking to the shared image. So, the main image shared on (for example) Facebook is a preview of the page. It would be nice if the preview was the shared photo! Maybe you can add this feature in the next release. Anyway, I’m gonna buy your theme today. Thanks!

I would like to use your topic for my next job. The design has the peculiarity that I must show all buttons with parallelogram shape (as the company logo is). Is it possible to make a modification from a custom CCS window or similar to re-shape the buttons (without FTP editing)?

Dear undsgn. I purchased this theme which is very beautiful. However, I assumed when i bought it, that the underlying coding was HTML5. When i view source however the doc type shows as simply HTML and not HTML5. I looked further into the code and cannot see anywhere the markup <section> or <article> which are html5 elements. Does this mean the Uncode theme is NOT HTML5, or am I missing something? I look forward to yoru reply.

Hello, I’m experiencing a problem with WPML that maybe someone have already fixed: in translated pages i see content looping twice, even if there’s no loop in backend content. Switching on 2016 theme content appears correctly once, so I think it’s matter of uncode and visualcomposer. WPML and WP are correctly updated. Did you already experience it or know how to fix?
Hi mostrozoe! I think this happen cause your Content Blocks are not translated, you need to translate them since Content Blocks are part of the page anyway. Not exactly, unfortunately. Even if i flush all content of the page (which is a translation of a basic language page) and i put in brand new content, this content displays twice in front-office.

Hello I have bought the theme and having difficulty with a couple of things. One is that I’d like to put a secondary menu under the main menu which is positioned top right. Maybe this could be achieved by putting html coded links under the main menu? But I’ve been unable to find out how to do this. The second issue I think is more basic – I’d like to remove the frame from the content so that the site is truly full width, no padding, I’ve tried the obvious settings in the theme options layout settings but to no avail. Thank you, it’s a great theme!

I just purchased the theme and installed it…now I want to add my FTP information (which is correct) at Uncode—> System Status and get an 404 error message on the next page…
Same happens at Install Demo…
At Install Demo I also get the error message “The file …/wp-content/themes/uncode/core/one-click-demo/demo-files/content.xml can’t be read. Please change file permission to 775.” I double and triple checked it…it’s already st to 775.
