1.) We have this on trello already, but it’s not a crucial feature rather than improvement, so it will take some time to impelemnt it

3.) This is more a plugins area and adding rating module requires more complex logic, than just adding the rating itself. I would recommend you to check about proper plugin, which can achieve this.

How to change Logo and Favicon

You can change logo in your header(s). The header management is located at “WP-admin > Ark > Headers”.
Favicon can be changed at “WP-admin > Appearance > Favicon” if you have installed and activated our premium Fresh Favicon plugin that comes bundled for free for all The Ark users.

Thank you, our team worked really hard to create Ark so we really appreciate your words of encouragement
You can activate the plugin at “WP-admin > Plugins”. After that you can create Sliders in their own admin area at “WP-admin > Revolution Slider”. You can then insert your newly created slider into your website via our Fresh Builder using the “Revolution Slider” element or by using our “HTML” element and pasting the shortcode there. First way is easier, second way is for advanced users. I hope this answers your question, but if you would need us to clarify anything, please let us know.

Yes, you can create “one-page” with The Ark. The navigation can be configured to scroll down using custom # links in your menu items like this:

There are 6 “Accordion” elements in the builder that you can use to show a lot of information in a more compact way. Alternatively, some elements can trigger opening of a lightbox with any page rendered inside it.

or there would be way to set custom template/style for category Same thing but If exist style editor like sitemap or other editors but then could be template selector for category inside category editor.

You can of course style particular categories. Everything can be done in WP Admin -> Ark -> Sitemap -> Blog Archive. This is basically look for all your categories, but you can use the “if” element (yes, we have “if” element in Fresh Builder) and write something like:is_category( your_cat_id)
With this condition, you will be able to target specific categories with our Fresh Builder, like a boss

Hello. 1. In my blog template I see only “default image” when Image Size is set to Default. I can’t see my featured image. When I switch to Original, uploaded featured image is displayed again. I have permission 755 set to freshizer folder. My media folder is located on subdomain but everything is configured properly. No cache except build in Performance cache (cleared).
2. Looks like 16:9 doesn’t work for me in single blog post featured area. It should work with Image size set to original? I see no difference when I’m switching between original, 4:3, 16:9.
2. How can I make Related Post section under mu single blog post. I know I can edit template in sitemap in Blog Single template editor, but how can I force for example Blog Slider 1 to display related posts from same category or same tags.

Hi, I had problems with copying pages throw the Option button. In earlier versions of the Ark theme it wasnt problem to copy whole page to another. But now, if I want to copy page to no one, it brokes whole page. I tried this at 3 different computers (Win, Mac) and many browsers – always the same mistake. Another quetion is about language localisation of the logo. Im using qtranslate plugin and want to have different logo for czech, slovak and english vesrion. Could you please help me to find php file, which calls the header a the logo section? Many thanks Josef Kroupa

1.) Copy & Paste – it should work, we tested it carefully many times. If you experience any issues with this, simply open ticket at our support forum and include your WP login.
2.) Different logo for different language versions can be achieved only in WPML.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your questions, allow me to answer them below:
1) Go to “Ark > Sitemap > Page” then change the layout on the top to “Default Page – Sidebar Left” and you will be able to edit that Layout. There you can disable the Post Title element so it will not print. When you are done, you should switch the Layout back to “Default Page” or whatever Layout was selected there as default when you first opened it.
2) The space is defined in CSS like this:
.call-to-action-v2 .theme-icons-wrap {
margin-right: 10px;
min-width: 75px;
}
If you copy that code, customize it to your liking and insert into “Appearance > Custom Code” then it should overwrite the defaults.
3) You can remove border color by changing the color value to “rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)”, it will result in transparent (invisible) border.

Check the checkbox option at “Ark > Headers > Your header > General > Make Header background transparent before scrolling down”. Then scroll all the way down and you will see a lot of color options for optional customization.

Depends on where it is, but generally it’s if you edit the Blog element, then in the General tab you will find the “Featured Image” or “Featured Area” option and next to it should be an option to set ALT. If you would have trouble finding it, please open a topic on our support forums and include link where can I see this image on front-end and your wp-login. I will then be able to describe more exact steps.

1) We have already implemented this option but it has not yet been released to the public because it is tied to a bigger update. Should be a matter of few days till it’s ready. If you need it right now, I can provide custom CSS code to you that will do this, just let me know your site URL so I can see it live.
2) It’s not easily possible to change the breaking point because too many things are tied to it. I would recommend reducing horizontal spacing between menu items for situation when the nav drops into two lines. Also utilizing the submenu/megamenu can reduce the number of top level nav items. I can provide custom CSS code to you that will do this, just let me know your site URL so I can see it live.

I just triple-checked our issued update (I’m doing it also before release) and everything fits on our side. How did you updated? Did you used the automatic updater, or did you updated manually? Because you are missing latest version of fresh framework.
Can you please go to WP Admin -> Ark -> Updates, hit “Force Check” and update the fresh framework plugin? If this does not help, you can always install the plugin separately via hand, or open a ticket at out support forum including your WP login and we will do our best to assist you

Also in desktop version paddings became bigger. But some days ago everything was OK, sitemap settings are default. And we didn’t change anything.
