Why can’t I insert my videos uploaded in WordPress in the Videos section?
Why can’t I insert Audio mp3 files uploaded in WordPress in the Podcast Section. If I open that page it shows a link of which I need to click again to open the media which opens in a different page, unlike if with Youtube or SoundCloud which opens on the Post page?

Hello, the resources you uploaded in Wordpress can’t be acessessed because of hotlink protection, they need to stay in same server as the site or in a server with enabled hotlinking.
About the TV and popup you change in customizer, you can put any URL.
Curious as to why there is no mention how this will perform on a mobile browser, I couldn’t find info anywhere from reading lol I want to buy this though.

Hello! No that’s in the code. Do deactivate it you can make an empty file, call it sharepage-large.php and put it in the child theme, this will replace the original file with icons so they will disappear.

The player has only shoutcast stream in it, how does it look with Icecast?

About the song informations, most of icecast providers have also a shoutcast-formatted feed, so it may work or not, but we can test it as well before purchasing it.

1) Changin pictures and content: yes pretty easy if you know a bit of wordpress and is all explained in the manual: www.qantumthemes.com/manuals/onair2/ Also the customizations are not complex to do, there are color pickers, logo uploaders and many options to customize the aspect of your website.

You just basically put host and post in their fields and if your radio supports them and your mp3 are correctly compiled they will show.

Hello! The POT file is the “master” translation file, is the file you need to add your translation. The theme is “translatable” which doesn’t mean “translated” but with the pot file you can easily translate the strings with the free software PoEdit.

Please check the pot file in child theme. When I used pot file from master, it works properly. Currently I copy POT file from master theme into child theme.

But, when I used POT file from child theme by using poedit. It does not works!
- The featured event does not show properly if we does not set the ID.
- In customization menu -> event setting. It does not works properly.
Please fix it! This theme is great. But unfortunately, still have many bugs.
Pot: it needs to have the child theme name if yu need the child theme. You can put it directly in the parent theme folder otherwise and call it just wih language name, example “en_EN.po”
Featured event: it works perfectly, just tested, but if you set an ID and after you delete it, you may need to delete the element and put it again in the page. It works really good, look please this screenshot:
http://imgur.com/a/8217i3) What means the last? (n customization -> event setting. It does not works properly.) the thing is, if the event date is past, you can choose to not show it. I think you are just setting conflicting settings in your website.
PS please next time use the support helpdesk for next requests, as suggested in the manual. Thanks!
- create the past event and future event
- in event setting (Appearance – Customization), if you choose hide pass event. All of event (future and past) will be hidden as well.
- in featured event, Based on manual, It will show the upcoming event if the ID is not set. Currenty it does not works! Featured event does not show correct event. Have you tried it? There is a bug there.
For POT file what I was saying to you. The pot file in your child theme package is wrong! If you open in poedit, The error mesage is “There is no translation here) The correct file is in the master theme, it can be opened in poedit properly. Do you understand what I mean?
I use this comment feature to reports anything that make me inconvenient since I dont like your support feature

Hello! About the Events, we just spotted the issue and an update of the theme will be out in few minutes. About the POT file, the one of the child theme is empty because in the child theme there are no strings to translate. Please look forward for the Themeforest email about the theme update. Thanks!

I am pretty keen to purchase this theme but have not worked with any radio enabled WP theme.
What I wanted to know if theme is able to do live vocal stream. Like a radio DJ talking live & playing music. If this is not a feature can you advise how can this be achieved while using this theme.

Hello! The theme doesn’t “do” any stream, it allows you to link to the player any external mp3 formatted stream as Shoutcast. You need a streaming provider to create your stream, which is not part of the radio theme but a completely different service. To make a compariso, is like a “video theme” do tisplay videos from Youtube, it doesn’t contain a software like “youtube” inside, are separated services.

Cool … no worries could be an interesting addition in the future … a continuous stream or your soundcloud casts … to act like a fo-radio station … almost like a you tube playlist on auto-play.
Well, technically is not a stream but a “soundcloud carousel”. I like the idea, and we provide SC support because is widely used. By the way the weak and expensive SC business management + poor copyright management led to some troubles and the company was also talking about shutting down (this was a news from public online newspapers), so as a feature like that may require months of development, we are not in the moment of risking that much. But for example for Mixcloud would be a much better idea, is free and more reliable, plus is made for podcasts.
Soundcloud for podcasts is a bit a blasphemy, also because they tend to delete the own podcasts from artists even thou they only contain original tracks from that artist. Is really not for podcasting in my opinion.

Well this is what i red on internet, I red they had a huge $ gap and another company came in but as artist I wasn’t happy with the way it was working even before, and for podcast mixcloud is free and also creates automatic tracklists of the podcasts, plus they don’t delete your own uploads as instead Soundcloud do. I totally recommend it.
Your idea is very cool, for real, and will probably look for a more complete implementation to allow mixing soundcloud, mixcloud, mp3… will require lot of work but take this as a dream as i don’t even know if we are going to have the people to realize it.
I know there is a new plugin on Codecanyon to create a streaming server from Wordpress, but have no clue how it works, plus you should have a very solid hosting for that too.
