How do I get the most updated version of the theme after purchasing? I’m getting a lot of javascript errors and my site is slow as heck. I’m wondering if Ive missed an update or something.

In order to get the latest update you need to simply download the theme again from your envato account and use this guide to update: http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ The js errors could not be theme version related. This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Sorry but our theme does not have a dynamic width. We did not build the theme with this in mind. Our theme has a fixed width and there is no simple way to change the width unfortunately. All the theme elements depend on this fixed width.

Quick question, what is the content item called in your Politics demo? The top banner that extends to the ends of the screen and has three other text only article links running down the right hand side? I currently use “Slider” but am looking to change this to one that is full width.

Any plan to implement mashable similar share bar ? But with the share icons and share count, you have to include site logo and menu system.
For mobile, you can give an option to use small logo icon and mobile menu for this share bar. There is plugin named Mashshare for your info. But menu system is missing in that plugin.

I am not saying to integrate that plugin to Newspaper theme. I just want to see option in the theme itself. I can see many other users also requested above for the same option.

Hello, is it possible to create a dinamic widget in sidebar that list the last posts related to the specific article that the user is reading. For example I’m a user reading the article about the Samsung galaxy s8 and in the sidebar there is a wirdget that lists all the other article about galaxy s8. thanks

Our theme will handle any database as long as WordPress handles it well. My advice is to first import all of your site into WordPress on a default wp theme and once the site is properly moved, only afterwards apply the theme. You will have to search for a few online solutions for the move from Django to wordpress.

The post views were not created to show up on modules and blocks. Only posts have this option. You will need to edit the theme files in order to get the post views to show on blocks. In order to add content to all posts at once, you will have to edit the theme files and place your content like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/qVNmBpOErd but you will need to modify multiple files as our theme has multiple post styles so you will have to add your content for each of the post styles you use on your site. The post template files are all in the same folder as highlighted in the screenshot above.

Hi. You can show several posts with Youtube videos (both in the index and in the categories), but that all the videos are shown in a single page in small and several columns to play the video on the same page?.
By default, wordpress and its template shows the videos one under the other, but I need to add them next to each other, smaller in 2 columns and in categories 4 columns, with its description, is possible with its theme?

Our theme supports videos on posts both as an embed or as a featured video, but pages will not be able to play the videos from the posts directly on the page. Our theme modules and blocks do not have video playing capabilities. Only special video blocks can do this as a video player or as a video playlist but these will not show the featured videos of posts. There is no option to play multiple small videos on the page as you describe. As for the translation, our theme is translatable to any language but the theme panel in the back-end cannot be translated though. It will remain in English.

We have those exact same versions of these 2 plugins on our end but cannot see any at all compatibility issues between them. Please disable all other plugins except visual composer and yoast seo, clear all caching, restore the theme to it;s default code by removing any customization and switching to the main theme if you use a child theme. This will ensure your theme is clean and there are o other sources influencing the 2 plugins. i tried deactivated all plugins but it did not help. There is no custom code either. Thanks also for the email, but i am not sure the customer will like to share admin accounts.
When I switch to default WP themes – there is no infinite loading.
The other issue is, the company website only allows one IP address to login. Many thanks .

I have sent 4 emails to that given address and no one has even gotten back to us.
OK,
i removed the “checkout.js” from wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/js/frontend/checkout.js
and replaced it again.
Now chrome is working but Firefox is still triggering the endless loading.
I am not sure my approach has solved this issue, since just deleting and replacing should not solved this issue. I mean on chrome and not on firefox.

Yes you can embed YouTube videos with our theme without issues as the theme does not change the default WordPress embeds and it also provides special support for YouTube videos as a featured video, as well as a YouTube playlist element.

Hi, nice theme. I have few pre-purchase questions before you I make a purchase.
1) Shortcodes – I don’t see enough shortcodes in the theme. I don’t want to use visual composer shortcodes as they will make the post load slow. Will the tinymce shortcodes work with your theme ?. Are you planning to add new shortcodes to theme ?.
2) I read a lot of comments from users who asked for theme content width change but you straight away deny that it cannot be done. Is there an option to disable the sidebars on all posts so that width of post can be increased ?. Is there an option to disable sidebar for all posts at once ?.
3) I want to know what new features are you planning to bring in the future updates. When i see the changelog, i see only few new features added. If theme development is going to be slow, then let me know, i will choose other theme.

1) Our theme relies on visual composer for a good part of the theme content. Posts have shortcodes as well, but not as many as pages using visual composer. I’m not sure different shortcodes will work with our theme as we have not tested third party shortcodes. We do plan on adding more options for posts but for the moment we focus on other implementation so post setting updates can still be a way off.
2) Sidebars can be disabled and the main content of the posts will increase up to 1068 px but the theme width is fixed. We are honest with our users and tell the truth about the limitations of our theme. The width cannot be increased except by altering all of the theme elements that depend on the theme fixed width. It can be done, but it is not a simple customization to make. We started with a fixed theme width and the theme got to a point that re-creating it from scratch is very very difficult. The implementation of a dynamic theme width will require us to do just that.
3) Sorry we cannot do anything faster but you will see that themes are not like big software companies. We are only a handfull of people and development cannot be done overnight. Most theme companies are the same. We are trying as best we can to implement new features but this takes time and cannot be rushed. We do not want to release broken features based on rushed updates.

Our theme does not have a directory page by default so I assume it’s a plugin you are using. We have not tested any directory plugins so I cannot provide a solution for this. It most likely creates a custom post type and cpt’s will not receive the post styles as they are limited to the “post” post type
