It’s been 5 days since i didn’t received simple answer from opening support ticket. So… how do i add comments under the portfolio item – same as blog post had? “Allow comments” are checked + if i add comment manually in portfolio item, nothing showed up.

Hi, good afternoon. I’m doing tests with no theme, but I can not adjust a post order. Here is the oldest one for the new max ex: 12345 and nothing is true that an order was younger for the oldest (on the home page) ex: 54321
They could and would help in adjusting this.

Hi ivo_ornelas! What you mean that you can are testing with no theme? Yes with Uncode is possible to modify the order of the items, you can set them descending, ascending, random etc etc. There are options to set these orders, confirmed!
Hey guys, I have a content slider as a header with slide one that has : - Background img + Title + Button. This button leads to a video in lightbox. But when the video opens, I have a double video slide, with the same video loading, and arrows on the side to navigate to the same video… I only set up 1 media as target for the button. How can I avoid that ?
It also creates a problem when I set the video to autoplay : both video start playing at the same time, the normal one and the “clone” one that I don’t see unless I click on the arrow.

Hello there, here is a link : http://ch9.fr/awakit17/ The problem appears on the first slide of the homepage. When you click on “Nous Decouvrir”, a video opens in a lightbox and for a reason I don’t know this video is duplicated in a lightbox slider. Do you know how I can avoid that? Thanks

I am coming back to working with this theme on a website I helped set-up about a year ago, so my familiarity is coming back in pieces. I don’t know if the fields got hidden/removed after an update, but I can’t find anywhere in the theme settings the way I can change the contact information that is directly left of the menu in the header. Can someone give me a hint on where to look?

Wenn I click on a specific category within the blog, it opens up a page that shows all of the categorized posts – perfect! But the header on this ‘side’ uses a demo picture that I would like to change and since this page is not a ‘real site’, I can’t seem to find the place to change this header aka header picture like I would with any other side or blogpost I created.
Does anyone have a clue for me?

Hi invisuallda! Yes if your host had a backup you can recover the lost CSS options, ask them both to arise the Max Input Vars limit both to send the backup. We are sorry for this but if the host offers low values we can only alert you both in the documentation, both when you install the theme (the System Status is the first screen you are redirected after theme installation).

I know my support has expired, but I think I found a bug in the “posts” module.
I set up a complete new wp install on my dev server, with new database and installed uncode version 1.4.2. activated required plugins and imported the demo content.
To make this example work you have to add a second category to some of the portfolio posts (for example “web” and “branding”, or “web” and “design”) which is not an uncommon thing to do. I created a new posts module and set the query to get “portfolio” posts, and to filter by a single portfolio-category. So far it works. But whe I set a second category to get excluded from the results (“+web” and “-design”), the post module shows all posts – regardless of the category filter.
I did the same steps with a fresh install of uncode version 1.4 and there it’s working.
Please give me a short response and a quick way to get that fixed – if possible. I’m building a solution for a customer where this functionality (include/exclude categories) is very very very important.

Hi EP1963! We are sorry but as you can see the problem is not caused by our theme and Slider Revolution is just one of the most famous plugins. I think there are some issue with your local host and it’s also not possible to debug you locally. I’m pretty sure that if you move online you don’t have this problem.

To apply new filters you just need to set different categories for the portfolio items present in the page (the filter menu is populated by the categories applied to the element that are in the page). Hi GThys! The filter menu is populated by the images you insert in the Media Gallery module, the filter shows categories related to the present items. If anyway you have any problems just open a ticket!

Hi, i cannot – no matter what options i try – get a simple post featured image to not be full width. I saw the one example of a classic layout you have on your demo “Layout Column”. Why is this layout so hard to achieve?
Why is this so hard? I build and customize WP sites for clients everyday. I have used wordpress for years with many different themes. This has never been difficult.
Crazy that i spend hours trying to do the most basic of wordpress options, show a simple featured image with a post.
I purchased the theme because I like all the advanced features of this theme you guys have created, and I want to use the full width headers for new posts going forward – i can create NEW POSTS with featured images at a size that fits a full width layout.
However, for most of the 1000+ posts i already have, i need the featured images to be sized to the width of the content column, like wordpress has always included in the loop.
Before you tell me that i need to adjust the theme options, understand that i would not be here if i hadn’t tried everything 3 times over, both in main theme options and in the posts themselves. And if there is some checkbox buried somewhere that i missed, the UX / UI of your design is a fail.
Please provide a simple option to select a “classic” post template that has a featured image, content, and sidebar.
No one has time to change 10 different options per post, much less teach clients to do it.
Nor do i have time to de-construct your theme in order to create my own custom post template.

I cant set a normal sized featured image. this is horrible. I dont need “tons of different layout options” right now. I just need my 7 years of 800px wide featured images to not be full width – blown out – ratty – heads cut off – ect…

You can display the media applied to the page not the featured image as our reply above. I’m sorry but any themes have it’s own features and it’s not supposed you can do anything even if this one of the most flexible themes. You can get the same layout you need simply applying the Page Media.
So i have to go through all 1k posts and do this post by post?? How is that simple?
No other theme i have ever seen or used in 6 years has destroyed the core functionality of Wordpress. Yes they all have many advanced features, but they always have an option for default layout designed by Wordpress.
Your supposed to theme over Wordpress, not re-develop it into something else.

You really should update the theme with a normal Wordpress single post template.
