Hello Do you think it’s possible to send a podcast in MP3 to the player and stop the streaming ? For the moment if the user launch the stream on the side player and then try to listen to a podcast the stream don’t stop and the 2 musics are overlapping Regards
Hello! This is possible only with the Vice or Sonik themes, not with OnAir as the main purpose of the OnAir is the radio, so the stream needs to be stopped manually. Technically, there is no connection within other tracks and the player.
Is not impossible to be done, but this theme in particular has a great performance cos all the functions are restricted to the core needed for a normal radio station.

Thanks! Yes vice is more for usicians, by the way a full permanent sticky player for a radio was taking too much space and didn’t have enough room for a radios list, that’s why we went for a different type of solution for OnAir2

1) Stream works perfectly, but the mp3 titles don’t appear (maybe because there is now a speaker talking or your radio doesn’t have a Shoutcast XML feed) by the way the audio works perfectly

Hello! The theme allows you to connect any radio stream in MP3 ormat, you can make it with services like Shoutcast, radio.co, Wacestreaming.com and similar. The theme does NOT create a webradio stream, instead it allows you to connect one to your website.

Hello! No id doesn’t create a stream it just plays it. There is a plugin on codecanyon to create a stream station ibdont remember the name btw.

hi! Actually there is no such script to refresh the show element at the moment. Other customers asked for the same, but we did lot of research and found out that no radios have such function over hundreds of websites we checked.
We are anyway thinking about implementing it in the future, but can’t provide a precise date.

No… We have 16 total podcast shows and at the bottom of our homepage as well as the bottom of this page: http://ewnpodcastnetwork.com/archive-podcast-page/ all you see on a mobile or tablet device is the back arrow… No page 2 like the desktop version shows. Did you see page 2 listed at the bottom of the homepage or just get a backwards arrow that does nothing? You should see 9 on the first page and 7 on page two. Thanks for looking into this BTW.

HI OK so your theme is set up on worlddancefm now … you mention in a previous answer to someone that the radio side bar player WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY if they click on another page in the same site so long as you have ajax activated in plugins?? Well we have ajax activated in the plug ins have checked this, but still if i click from say the main page to blog page the music does NOT keep playing even though ajax is activated so is there another issue there? if so please tell me as i thought you said there is no issues with the theme,
Hello! In this case, please first be sure to have the ajax plugin installed. Then try deactivating temporary any foreign plugin to be sure they are not breaking ajax loading.

Hi, your issue is very strange. Please proceed this way: 1) via FTP delete the theme and the child theme (just to be sure) 2) delete all the plugins you have 3) check if the problem persists. If not, please let me know how you installed the theme. There must be something wrong with the process.

Hello! If you removed all the theme and plugins and get 500 error,, means your Wordpress installation is not correctly working, and is not a result of a theme or plugin failure, so let’s troubleshoot this.
1) If was an empty fresh site (no contents i it) the best is to delete the wordpress installation and do a fresh one.
2) If you can still access the wp-admin, you can go in Updates (top left corner) and “reinstall” wordpress.
Sometimes wordpress libraries doesn’t get opied correctly, and this happens specially if you do a manual install over FTP.
If you have cPanel with Installatron or Softaculous, is very recommended to install Wordpress using this tool. You can manually delete your WP folder and delete the database, then go in Softaculous and install Wordpress again.
Please remember to delete the .htaccess before doing this, is a hidden file in your server’s root.
Alos be sure that you are running PHP 5.6 or 7 and MySQL5.6, that you have mor_rewrite enabled and CURL module enabled in your PHP settings (your hosting provider may help you with this).
Also be sure that you are in a Wordpress-ready LINUX server (not Windows).

It can be, yes. This theme is not tested or declared multisite. Please try to make a standard WP 4.7.3 installation on PHP 5.6 ot 7, you should have no problems.

Hello! Sorry for your issue. The thing is your PHP version is very old, and you need to change php to at least 5.5 or 5.6 in your hosting. Actual version (better) should be 7.

Hi! There is no option for that, but you can make a small change on a file to achieve it.
Edit the file “part-header-caption.php” in onair2/includes
Delete this part:

In the folder ttgcore-setup/custom-types you find a folder for each post type.
Inside of them, there is a file *-type.php (like chart-type.php)
In those files, you find arrays of data, they contains
rewrite’ => true,
you can change it into
‘rewrite’ => array(‘slug’ => ‘your-custom-permalink’)
IMPORTANT: this is a heavy code customization, can’t guarantee that can break something in some part of the theme, and we can’t take care of the implications this customizations can have.

In the demo the pages are loading without the music stops, but not with the search function.

The search function is not a link but a form submission so it is not catched by the ajax page loading. Will see with the frontend developer if there is a possible improvement. Thank for your interesting tips!

By the way, I think if you saw the demo and decided to buy it, the site was working fine, so it should be just a matter of settings of your site to achieve the correct result. This is the first complain we have in about 100 customers of this theme and I’m for sure committed in solving every malfunctioning, but we need you to please describe it with precision. Also, for the support we have a helpdesk, which is recommended using as allows to post print screens and more details about websites.

Is like a kid tries to fly an airplane, will for sure jump off it and say the airplane is broken. So please don’t blame the product, just learn how to use it and test it on a local installation before installing it on a live site, you will fully enjoy all the possibilities it offers.

Still requires to study manuals and figure out how to use a software, as even if many people says you don’t need any skill to make wordpress websites, is not true at all.

Please head over to our station and as you can see we have implemented most of the changes to now have your ONAir theme as our new theme, World Dance as you know is 17 years old and one of the longest running station for djs. Please don’t get us wrong…. its more frustration at times as to what we need and what we trying to do with the theme and how we can change that to encompass everything that we have to offer and to have all the showcased in the new theme your theme… One very quick question for you… the pop up player! how can we make that happen silly question but i cant find any read up on that in the manual and as you can see from our site it does not pop up but just opens another page, that is really all i need to figure out from your theme

POPUP PLAYER: well it’s a bit hidden in the manual, I admit, because of the many options. It’s in Appearance->Customize->Header settings

1) Enable the popup selecting “display popup button”
2) add a URL. You can create a page and select the “popup player” page template, or link to your own external page (even of another domain) containing the player. The size, to keep the theme simple, is fixed, but if you need to change it let me know, is a php file of the template containing the width and height as data attributes.
