How about the articles and pages? No option to clone?
That comes from WordPress, so no it’s not a core feature. Although I do know it’s been brought up to them to add.
We are able to do it for our own items, for example Fusion Slider, you can clone sliders and slides. But for core WP, things like pages or blog posts, we should not be adding that, it needs to come from core WP.

Hello I’m having a problem building a portfolio on the media grid plugin that might help me. I’m using an “Item Type – Custom Content (aka pop-up window)” and wanted to insert an image carousel inside. I’m not getting with Avada image carousel or a plugin that has the same effect. I already asked for help on the Media Grid Plugin blog and they said to ask your help on how to initialize that tool (image carousel fusion builder) after an AJAX call. Can you help me?

Currently the media grid plugin is not created or included by us, however we do have many customers who use it. Please get in touch with the plugin creator, they will be able to help you set it up. The plugin is compatible with Avada, but I’m not sure why they would say ask us, it’s not our plugin and we do ont include it nor test for it.
Please let them know we mentioned that, we have many users who use it so it is compatible. They shoud help you out and are required to do so as it is their product.
For our image carousel, you do not need their plugin. It works off any image you upload, and you can upload bulk images for it. Or, for portfolio posts, it auto pulls the posts for you. That is all functionality we include and support.

I am enjoying the theme features. Just wanted to ask a small question. I just want to add link on hover image of Portfolio. Right now when i hover only Title will have link to portfolio detail page i want the link on faded image behind that title like you have on this demo https://avada.theme-fusion.com/charity/ scroll down and go to Recent Causes. It has hover link on home image instead of just the Title showing on hover. Make sense ?

That is a new feature we added in our latest update, v5.1.1 … now the entire image will link to the single post instead of only the title (or icons if they show).

Hi there
most recent update of Avada theme completely broke my menus. Only Mega Menu are still visible (with a display issue, as it’s completely shifted to the right). Normal menus are simply not shown from the main navigation. (I’ve flushed and reset the cache, no impact)

This is most likely only cache. Make sure to clear all cache.
This includes browser, plugin and server cache. As well as resetting fusion cache which is here: http://d.pr/i/VnXR
That should resolve the menu.
If it does not, try it in another browser, sometimes your browser cache can be very hard to clear especially if you visit your site a lot in it.
And if you are using menu descriptions, those would now be showing up, go to Appearance > Menus and see if you have text/content inside the menu descriptions.

Thanks for the info. Though, it didn’t fix the problem
as I already tried that trick. Menus get back on only by disabling Fusion Builder (I tried disabling all extensions, unsuccessfully). Will open a ticket

Hmm just making sure, you did check the menu description area?
And what version of Avada and Fb are you using? FB may not be up to date. That is the only other thing I can think of.

Hello,
Version 5.1 of AVADA has an error with the default logo when the web is translated with WPML.
Although a default logo for the spanish language on the web is set, default logo set for english language is still displayed in spanish web version.
We have 2 days with the wrong logo on our spanish version website, we have opened a ticket but the first answer we have had a problem understanding the incidence. The responsible person has not understood correctly what we explained in the ticket.
Please, we need this problem with the default logo and WPML to be resolved as soon as possible. The ticket we have opened is: 148362.

After an update Avada always wants to redirect to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=avada
My security settings doesnt allow the redirection and now I cant get into the backend. How can I remove the redirection manually?

I use the “all in one WordPress security and firewall” plugin and moved my login to something different then wp-admin. After updating the theme it tried to redirect me and it didnt work!
In the end I renamed the avada theme folder to avada-old. Then I deactivated some features of AIOWPS and then I changed the name of the theme folder back.
Then it just worked!
I think AIOWPS can cause that kind of problem! Maybe you can use this information if someone else is having the problem.

I’m willing to design a landing page that will include the very nice layout that you have on the theme-fusion support main page. I want to have a list on the left that when you press on the list items the image on the right side frame will be replaced accordingly.

We are using a custom WordPress theme on our company site there, something exactly like this will require you to use a 3rd party plugin, its not possible out of the box right now using our builder elements. However you can try to use the Clean style of tabs and you should be able to create something similar with it.

Actually this was being applied to a brand new installation in our test localhost-environment. So there was no “update” just a new installation.
Further tests show that the options when viewed in IE11 is totally missing. The left menu for the different Avada Options are visible but the options themselves are not….it shows a blank white section.
However, everything works normally in FireFox.
I have had this experience before and a couple of other posters here have complained about the same thing. So you guys may want to look at your JavaScript libraries a bit more and not pass it of as something that is unique to me only.

We’re not passing it off as something unique to you. WE know what we are talking about, all of our demos are running the build along with tens of thousands of other customers. You only see a small fraction of comments that lead you to believe that, people that update and all is good simply do not post.
If this was a brand new install, then there are missing files or something uniquely wrong with your local installation. That has to be the case. Those options are part of Avada 5.1
Did you update fusion builder and fusion core also?
Can you confirm it says Avada 5.1 or 5.1.1 which is the latest?
All we can do is recommend as this is local, but I assure you 100% those options are there. I’m not sure where you saw this reported before, but this is the first I’ve heard of missing options. If you are referring to the past, then it has always been cache related. Try in another browser, or better yet, delete your theme folder, download a fresh copy and install it again.
If you are really on 5.1+ and those options do not show, then you are missing files from installing it.
The only other thing I can possibly think of is dependent options. So for example, if you are using header 1, the “Top Secondary Menu” panel does not show, because those options cannot work with header 1.
For the options you are referring to, are you by chance using header 6? I see you said header 3, but maybe that changed. They will not work with header 6. Try to change to header 1 just to see.

We’re sorry, there was clearly a misunderstanding here. Our apologies. This may have to do with the “smart screen filter” setting in IE11, which has false positives. We’re looking into it and seeing what can be done and trying to replicate. When confirmed, we’ll certainly fix if needed.

Thanks for looking into it. As of now, we cannot use any of the options for the admin for the Avada section in IE11.
Unfortunately everything we’ve seen points to this being an IE bug, not a theme bug. Other versions of IE work just fine, and it’s only been replicable by one person on our staff, and when he refreshed it came back. It’s certainly an odd one.
We will continue to look into it, but it’s not a theme issues so far from our findings. Once we know more, we will post.
For now, all you need to do is use a different browser. The fact that it does work in other browser is also a sign that it’s a browser specific issue. We’ve even sent in request to MS to see if we can get more information.
Our team is on it, so far, nothing eludes to a theme issuse.

Hello,
I use Ubermenu in version 5.0.6. After the update to 5.1.1. The navigation has disappeared. So I had to go back to the old version.
Is there a complication with the Ubermenu?

I Found that Fusion Builder isn’t work correctly with PHP 7 environment on my website. Everytime I switch my PHP from 5.6 to 7.0, I can’t edit or create any post on the post editor and it’s always return 404 error. But after disable Fusion builder with PHP 7.0 environment, the Post editor works again. But I can’t work with PHP 7.0 if I can’t access my post editor. Also, wordpress recommended PHP is version 7.0.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hmm we are on PHP 7 and it’s working fine. Have you tried to disable any extra 3rd party plugins to see if they are causing any issues?

If you want to get some elements / content from a specific demo without using the whole demo, you can actually import the demo to a local install of WordPress + Avada on your computer. That gives you access to all demo content without affecting your main project site.

Since this is local to your computer and not an online site, you won’t need to purchase an additional license. Additional licensing will only be needed for online / publicly accessible sites using Avada.

Technically some of our templates could be adapted to fit those demos, it takes changing out content images, etc. We do have a music demo coming soon that could fit for a dance school. The security guard demo has been put on our list but no ETA for that.
Yes from what we have seen from our users Lifter LMS is compatible, as is Sensei and Learndash, and also BuddyPress. We do not add custom styling to them, but they are compatible.

Thank you for your question and interest. That is absolutely possible. Each Avada demo you see is created with the same Avada just different styling settings and page builder elements. For a shop site, you would just install the WooCommerce plugin and configure its settings as needed.

It could be the TF API was down for a minute or temporarily, if so try again to see. Also when you click submit, it might take 10-15 seconds to pull it up if traffic is high. But it shouldn’t take longer than that. Basically what it does is take your purchase code and check it with the TF API to ensure the purchase is valid and pulls up the username that bought it.
