When I use the pop up feature I do not see an X for the pop up to close. What do I need to add to CSS or what do I need to do to get an X to close my pop up window?
The x icon is coming from the fonts included in the theme. Check if the theme folder permissions in your setup are set to 755 , also check if following folder is accessible: your site.com/wp-content/themes/wplms/assets/fonts
Also post this in our support forums and share your site link so that we check this.

Hi! I’m interested in purchasing this, but I have a question:
Is it possible to combine two quiz types on the same “page”? Specifically, what I would like to do is the following: Have the students read a text (jpg/pdf) and answer a true/false question AND mark where they found the answer (paragraph A/B/C etc) from a drop down or similar. Would that be possible?
Also, is it possible to read and scroll a jpg or pdf text while still seeing the question or to jump back and forth between text and question? (Read the question, search the text, read the question again, search the text again…) I hope you understand what I mean, thank you for providing answers here!
Ok, I understand that you have sets of questions which you want to appear together in quizzes. Yes this is definitely possible. You can create sets of questions like the first question is a true false and the second question is where they found the answer in select options. And you can re-use these questions in different quizzes. You can embed images and PDFs in the question descriptions itself. Let me know if this answers your query.

Is there any plan in the future of making certain forums only available after completing certain courses? Mainly to grant people permission into certain discussions that they have actually been educated on. Thus to prevent uneducated responses from being added to an otherwise intelligent discussion?

I want to change: After user TAKE THIS COURSE first time, next time when user click direct on UNIT link at COURSE PAGE (curriculum below course description), it will jump direct to COURSE STATUS page.

Hi Sorry for posting again. I saw that you reply faster to comments here then private messages. I still don’t understand very well what do I get by purchasing this theme for 64$. You present some premium addons and you said in one of the emails I got from you that these addons are available when I buy this theme. Please be more transparent and precise. Do I have to also pay the price for these addons or these addons are included in the theme? I feel that you don’t make it very clear and I don’t want to be in the situation where I pay 64$ and only after that to find out that I must pay extra money to have all the features like integration with mailchimp, woocommerce or any other features that I see in the demo you present here. Please be transparent and clear about this because paying 64$ for a wordpress theme is already a high price (compared to other wp themes) and if I pay for all the addons that you present in the demo for the 64$ theme, that would be a total price of 160$ for WPLMS complete theme. Am I right? Please make me understand so I can make a decision. There is another product (won’t mention the name in public) that offers plugins worth of $582+ included in the theme, without the need to buy anything extra from them, after purchasing it from themeforest.

The course pagination (It’s the page where users can see all the courses) doesn’t seem to be working on Chrome but it works on other browsers Firefox, IE. Is it a known bug ? The last thing I need to try is uninstall Chrome and reinstall it back but before I might just do that, I might as well check with the author. Thank you.

You can disable instructors from uploading .zip files specifically as well as from uploading any file, it is possible, we can share a small code for this.
To restrict instructors from creation groups, enable to switch WP Admin – WPLMS – BuddPress – Create group permissions and disable the Instructor access to wp admin panel from WP Admin – WPLMS – BuddyPress – WP Admin access.

I have a course at 3,000 and when I purchase that course, instructor gets 60% which is to my knowledge, it is going to be 1800. When I check on the instructor dashboard, it just shows 100. If I purchase the course twice, then the instructor commission is 200. Can you tell me whether if my logic is wrong or the system works in a different calculation system ? Thanks.
Yes, please create a support topic and share the link with me. This was a very old bug in Wplms customiser plugin, there is a small code in it which is applying on commissions which was accidentally published in earlier versions. Please deactivate the plugin and reupload a new one from the package and the issue would be resolved, all the plugins are included in theme- plugins folder.
Hello. I download the latest WPLMS version then delete the existing wplms customiser and upload the new one then install and enabled but the commission is still 100. I think in fact, my wordpress site automatically update all the plugins and I don’t think my wplms customiser plugin is an outdated one but the version that I have is version 1.0 (a bit confused because I downloaded it right from themeforest.net just now). is that the latest one or is this some sort of problem with themeforest for giving me an outdated plugin ? The commissions which are already calculated are stored and would not automatically change, you’ll need to delete the previous orders for this. But the commission which will be calculated now would be correct. The Wplms customiser plugin is for customisations so it is not updated. As a check, go to wp admin – plugins – editor – Wplms customiser – customiser_class.php and check if you find this code, refer link

I have enabled “Enable ajax registration & login”
I access “LMS> Setting> Registration Forms”: In the “Existing Registration forms> Setting” section I check:
- AUTO GENERATE USERNAME FROM EMAIL
- REGISTER & LOGIN SIMULTANEOUSLY
- SKIP MAIL VERIFICATIONWhen I sign up complete, the website reloads and logs in. But the “display name” is “email”. I visited “Profile”. The name in the Profile is “exactly as registered”, but the Display Name next to the avatar is “false” (it displays email)
From the question description everything seems to be correctly setup but the display name should appear as the name. Can you edit the profile and simply resave it and check it any changes appear. Also try disabling the switch “auto generate username from email” and check if the display name is correctly assigned.
How do I show “name” next to avatar as “name” that I filled in the registration form?
When I go to “Profile> Edit” (do not change anything) and click Save
The “name” next to the avatar is displayed exactly as it was registered
Hi Vibe. I had a problem with translate. I use WPLMS custom navigation plugin and set the course menu with tab layout like Udemy. But when i translated “Home” and “curriculum” to my Language with Loco (curriculum [ custom tabs for tabbed layout ]), i click it and it not auto scroll down to its section.

I have activated the “Tab style course layout”. Everything still works.
But, when I used Loco to translate Tab. For example: “curriculum” to “AAA”; “Reviews” to “BBB” ... Then the sections link is changed to ”../#course-AAA”; ”../#course-BBB”. This causes clicking on the navigation menu items will make me not jump to that section.
I have unmarked “Revert pretty permalinks” in “wp-admin > lms > settings” But still error.

Are you implementing in the App mobile the option to download audio and video lessons from Amazon S3, store and lock them inside it for protection? (not searchable anywhere else inside the mobile for security reasons). Please have a look at Udemy App as they are using this feature (and many others).
The goal will be:
1. Download all lessons in one click;
2. Download individually;
3. Choose video resolution: e.g. display 60 lessons – 720p 10 Gb / 60 Lessons – 360p 500 Mb and son on…
This feature would be essential, like udemy and others are using.
4. Can we use Vimeo video streaming within the App?
5. How will the updates, plugins and the additions of menus and so on work with the Mobile App?
5.1 How they will communicate with each other (App and Website)?
6. How will the payments communicate between the website through Woocommerce, Google Play Store and IOS Apple Store?
7. When using the option of subscription the App and website will make a total amount of sales. How can we measure automatically which course had more hits to generate the equivalent percentage we need to pay to each teacher? Course with higher number of hits the teacher earn more. Less hits the teacher earn less.

Yes, I saw your post in the Mobile APP forum topic and we’re aware of this request. At this point our aim is to implement the basic functionality of the APP like Login, courses, quizzes etc. For App and Website connectivity, we’re already working on the API along with the App, which would record activities from the mobile apps as well (not in realtime though). For payments, the mobile app would open the website in browser, so it will happen on the website. Hits can be tracked from Activity logging as it will happen both in App and website. For remaining questions, I will post the response in this topic

Accordion Issue,
1) First section won’t open automatically although it is set to.
2) Some of the accordion will open first section automatically, but page will scroll down to that area once loaded, believe its a bug that had been fixed for other users (based on comments here). But its not fix for mine.
All themes and relevant plugins are updated to latest version.

Can I use this theme for an online tutoring site, where tutor and student can register and interact online via witheboard or videoconference?
I see you have bigbluebutton for online classes, but it is very inconvenient to use token. Are planning to fully integrate BBB in the theme with one click/button?
