Thanks for writing in. While logged into your Themeco account, you can open a new thread in the forums.

To quickly clarify on your issue, the Ethos 1 demo content (along with all Standard demos) only includes the design settings. It doesn’t supply all the articles. Our Expanded demos however include the full site content including pages, posts, menus, and graphics. For more info on this, take a look at our demo content KB article.

Hmm, it wouldn’t just stop working all of the sudden if you hadn’t updated or changed anything recently. The only thing I can think of is that your host may have changed something on their end. If you’d like a member of our development team to take a look and see if they could advise, they’d be happy to do so in our support forums.

No, that wouldn’t be something explicitly setup by the theme, however we do have various blank templates you can use to layout a page virtually any way you want.

We offer you with the option to upload your own video file or a hosted video file and embed it as a background of a section. For YouTube embeds you would need to use a slider plugin like Slider Revolution but both would not be a whole background (behind the whole website content) video. The feature only would work for a certain row or section. Here’s a topic of a customer who had a similar question, make sure to check it out. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Is there any integration for updating portfolios, sliders, or lightboxes into Cornerstone (the visual editor)?

I guess I’m not so concerned about them uploading to the WP media library as I am the client being able to pull those media image into the various display elements (portfolios, sliders, lightboxes, etc).

Make sure to check out all our demos which feature a wide range of video backgrounds and video posts. Additionally you can use tools like Slider Revolution to create great looking video sliders or insert YouTube, Vimeo and other videos.

I’ve just looked through about 20 of your demos and I don’t see any of that tbh. That was a very lazy answer, let the customer do the work.

Our Integrity 01 Demo uses Slider Revolution and a background video for a header. That is explained in detail on our KB here. You can also use a self hosted video with our own integrated player styling from our Video Element (there is unique styling for each Stack that can be seen by going to the 01 Demos of each Stack and going to Shortcodes > Recponsive Video. Finally, you can Embed videos from 3rd parties in pretty much anywhere you want.

Under Appearance > Sidebars, we’ve added an interface allowing you to register custom sidebars for your site. These can be assigned to different contexts, so you can have a different sidebar for your shop. Once created, it will show up as a sidebar you can assign widgets to.

Thanks for your help. Can you tell me how I can move the sidebar to the left side instead of the right side? I want this to only happen on the WooCommerce Shop page and the WooCommerce Product Category pages. I tried using this code but could not get it to work.
