There is a whole activity module in WPLMS wherein users can interact via activity. Please share more details on this, we’re interested in adding more details if required.
In moodle there is a module called Workshop, in which students must upload an activity, such as a task, but instead of the teacher qualifying it, the system automatically sends that task to one or more students for evaluation.
In pedagogy it is called co-evaluation, or peer-to-peer evaluation.

Yes, when they purchase a plan the user account is automatically created. Yes, when they click on “take this course” it would redirect the user to the chose membership page.

You just need to install PMPRo, create some memberships and set its levels page. Then edit the course and in the pricing section connect the memberships with the course. Now when you click on take this course it will take you to the memberships page.

No, I think you’re checking the unit directly from the curriculum. Please check this video on how student user flow.

And i had some problem logging in with the demo. When I use facebook log in, it doesn’t log in right away even if i browse many pages, I really have to click refresh and then I will be logged in… Can you reproduce that?

Yes, this feature is coming up in our next update. It has been requested and it is already in the planned list. The login issue occurs because of caching, we can skip the html caching to avoid this. Can you tell me the link where you’re seeing this issue ?

We’ve shared sample credit card details in the checkout page. All the demo’s are fully functioning, please try purchasing the course using the sample credit card.
The course is a free course with an enabled switch to hide the “start course button”. This is feature for offline courses where users do not want any eLearning features and are using WPLMS only for directory and selling the courses.
Ok but about the demo sample credit card, they don’t work. I tried with all the demo and when I fill the form with the sample credit card info I get errors: fields can’t be blank (even thought they are filled.)
Here are the exact errors I get: Credit Card Number is a required field. Credit Card Expiration is a required field. Credit Card CVC is a required field.

I tested your demos again and some of them now have the credit card working and some other not. But I still have problem with login. For example: demo 6, demo 3 and default theme sample credit card is not working. Demo 5 does not have a credit card payment available so I can’t fully test it. Demo 4: when loging with facebook I have to refresh the page or navigate to really become logged in. But demo 3 and 5 are logging in correctly.

You can see that only the One Instructor has no bug at all. All the other have some problems but I understand that they are just setup problems and not really bugs that prevent you theme to work. So I will buy it soon it’s really the best theme for this usage! I will still like if you could correct those installation problems on the demos cause we can’t check the course navigation if we can’t use the sample credit card…

A few question to enquire, not sure if the system is unable to handle this currently or i missed the setting.
1. Free course. I realise when users, be it administrator, instructor, or registered students click on free course, the student count automatically increase by 1. Is it able to change this to only when user click start course then the counter increase by 1?
2. Finished course. When a user revisit finished course, after evaluation from instructor or administrator. There is no notice on that specific course page, is it possible to input some message when validated that course is completed by student? (e.g course is completed, view your stats or certificate here.)
3. Evaluation. Understand that to have auto-evaluation, there must be at least a quiz in course. Is it possible to auto-evaluate 100 marks for zero-quiz course?
Problems: 4. Front-end course creation. I can’t find any certificate template when there is, during the front-end course creation with instructor role.
5. Certificate. The print & pdf button is not visible, though the option is on.
6. Certificate. [CERTIFICATE_STUDENT_DATE] when used, the date is not grabbed. Show the shortcode instead.

1. The counter increases when the user is subscribed to the course. So for premium courses when user pays for the course the counter increases. This counter is also used in limited seat calculation in courses. What you’re requesting is possible but it can cause conflict for paid courses.

The error is coming up form the core WooCommerce files and the error is reported in a core WordPress functions. Please login to your site via cpanel and make sure WordPress is properly installed in your site. Also make sure the permissions of wp-content folder is set to 755 and files is set to 644. Also check if your database is optimized and not crashed.

This is already released. There is anew setting in the widget to display number of courses along with category and instructor.
I setup the theme in my local machine with SAMPLE DATA. Everything was fine. But now the front page slider is not appearing. Some of the plugins showed Ajax issues while installing.
Also the menus are missing. It says “SETUP MENUS IN ADMIN PANEL”
Most likely there is a folder permissions error, for menus you can connect menus at wp admin – appewranc – menus. Can you please create a support topic in our forums and share some screenshots on this.

The menus need to be rebuilt, this happens because the demo has some pages and links which are not imported because the feature was not active. For example : The demo has link to Forums, public and private, but in case you did not activate the forum feature in the site setup wizard the menu will have blank entities which causes this type of issue in the menus. We’re trying to fix this issue in our updates and replace them with valid links.
I think I enabled all the features. Do I have to rebuild the menu manually or is there a workaround?
I am sure you will not be using the standard menus anyways, so its best to build the menu again.

Level of education> Academic Year> Courses > Units
Such that a student can purchase Year one and get all units under the courses.
There are multiple ways of achieving this. You can enable a “levels” taxonomy which you can use to categorise courses. We also have a plugin called “WPLMS Batches” (similar to a class in a school). A Batch is a group of users which can be connected to a set of courses, every member of the group gets automatically subscribed to the courses connected to the batch. A Batch can also have its independent set of administrator and moderator which can see student wise statistics for the students in the batch.
So you can create a batch/class as High School Year 1 and connect the required courses with the batch. Students joining this batch automatically get access to all the courses in the batch.

2. The minimum height of the page is automatically set to the height of the view port. So, if the height of your page is smaller than view port’s height you’ll see extra padding, otherwise there will be no padding. Yes it is possible. There are two ways you can do this : 1. Course bundle, create a product which gives access to 4 courses at once.
2. Create a membership and connect 4 courses with the membership.
The difference between membership and bundle is that while a bundle is a one time sale, in memberships you can add more courses which the users will get automatic access.

I have a student database that will need to be constantly updated because some students stay and some students go. How to manage this on your WPLMS.
1. Do I need to bulk upload all current students each week? If yes, then what would happen to the existing students comments on assignments? Would it overwrite them?
2. Also, what would happen with students who have left? Would it delete them and make their comments hidden?
3. Also, is there a way to sync the student database with my inhouse software such as Workday.com ?

Every course in WPLMS maintains two things for users : User Status and Membership status. A User status is the status like user started course, user completed course, a membership status is like user is active on course and user’s access to course is removed. So, I am assuming that when users leave it is identical to user go into the expired state and you do not need to remove them from the courses. No there is no way to sync with WorkDay, you can however bulk import the users into courses.

Yes, refer this tutorial, you can add bulk users via CSV to multiple courses, with course and membership statuses. If the user does not exist, the importer would automatically create the user and add it to the courses.

I have one question. How to clean up courses and units ? I think that includes quiz and assignments. After a while, instructors delete courses but deleting courses leave units in the system. So, those units become standalone not belonging to any courses. Is there any way to identify those units effectively and delete from the system ?
Like clicking a button and show us a list of units without attached to any courses and we can go ahead and delete those units. Thanks.
Enable the switch wp admin – LMS – settings – front end course delete, refer link, I think this is a good observation, I however units are independent of courses and can be used in multiple courses as well. In the wp admin mode we can add a switch to check the course to which the unit belongs.

Yes, the theme is being developed on 7.0 so it is safe to upgrade to 7.0, however, we’ve seen some issues with the latest 7.1.2 version and BuddyPress.

We check the theme update on all our demos and only then we roll out. So far I am pot sure why you’re unable to login to the wp admin panel and therefore I need to check the site. What is the exact issue you’re getting with multivendor ?

I would stick to original WooCommerce plugins, like product vendors instead of third party vendors. We have almost all the WooCommerce plugins so we can test them and help you better.
Thank you for your feedback. Our problem is we want users to be able to upload their products from front-end and the original woocommerce plugin doesn’t support such feature I think. That’s why we are coming to the conclusion of using 3rd party plugin. One thing we are only worried is the plugin might crash or have some sort of conflicts with WPLMS Courses because it uses woocommerce as well.
You do not need to worry about that. WPLMS uses WooCommerce from the outside, we’re using the recommended approach as mentioned by WooCommerce which is why it is compatible with majority of WooCommerce plugins. In case conflicts occur, we’ll try our best to help you out if the issue can be resolved from WPLMS code.

I know we had a private conversation on email but I must ask you this, as it’s a very important aspect for me: You say this theme offers front-end adding course for Instructors / teachers but then I tested it, I ended in accessing the wordpress admin area. Why is that? I need instructors to register themselves and create courses without accessing wordpress admin area. Also, how are commissions established? Is there a way to setup different commissions for different instructors? Something like… levels, depending on the skills / certificates that instructors have?
Also, when logged in as Instructor (Napoleon Hill), I clicked on an expired course and then clicked on “Click to renew” button and nothing happens, the page just refreshes and that’s all.
Also, is it normal for instructors to be able to take courses?
Also #2. On macbook > Safari, when viewing profile (Napoleon Hill) there is a horizontal infinite scroll. I’m pretty sure that’s a bug and I wanted to highlight this as I know you plan to release the update this week. Maybe you’ll squish that bug also.
Also #3. In the menu, here: http://vibethemes.com/demo/wplms/members/amit/ under Pages > Buddypress > there are two buttons for members. The first, opens a blank page, the second, opens the correct page of all buddypress members, but when I click “Add friend” nothing happens. If I open a member’s profile, there isn’t any “Add friend” button. So, how can I add friends?
Also #4. The blue message box in Private Forum, that’s under Private: Private: Private Forum, displays some white link-text on the light blue background and that’s pretty useless as nobody can read that.
Also #5. The menu is not responding very well when you are at the top of the page and position the cursor over Courses. When you take the cursor out, the drop-down menu is still there but half displayed and it’s quite annoying. It gives a feeling of buggy website.
Also #6. I’m not sure, but the whole “Notes and Discussion” area feels like it’s not working correctly. It feels like there are some bugs. I click to edit a discussion and the field becomes editable but there is no button to save the modifications.

Also #8. When an Instructor creates a course, he is able to delete other courses images uploaded by other instructors. Login in as Napoleon Hill > click on the profile name from the top menu bar > Courses > More > Create a course > Click on course image to add an image > This opens the wordpress file manager where the instructor can upload files BUT ALSO can delete all the other images uploaded before. I think this is a huge bug that needs immediate attention.
Just a suggestion, there is a wordpress plugin named Snax (you can find it on codecanyon) I hope I don’t infringe Envato’s Terms and Conditions by posting other script name, but I think it’s a good plugin for front-end adding content. Maybe you can inspire from it. Not all the instructors work for me. There will be instructors that will just register and wait for my approval who will post course on the website just to make money. By the way, I made some researches and Lynda.com, Udemy.com, Coursera.com, Edureka.com, Intellipaat.com and all the other websites do not use WPLMS as it is. I think there are hundreds of $USD if not millions invested in development so the platforms looks and functions like they do right now. So these are not relevant examples or showcases.

On http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/demo4/course/social-media-management/ I’m logged-in as Instructor. Beside the fact that I see the wordpress admin bar at the top (not even ONE website that you say it’s using WPLMS have this VERY un-proffesional wordpress bar, I don’t have to say that none of them lets you access the admin area), I tried to complete a free course but when I click “MARK THIS UNIT COMPLETE” ... yes, you guessed. NOTHING happens. I can just click and open the sections, without being able to complete any of them. Why?!
Please don’t tell me that accessing the wordpress standard admin area it your way to front-end course creation. Please! I just love your product, but the more I test the demo, the more I find bugs, errors and things not working as they were supposed to work.

1. You can create courses from both front end and the back end. For front end, please check this video, you can also disable WP Admin access to Instructors as courses in WPLMS can be managed from front end. For commissions please check this video. Yes, you’ll need to create a registration form for Instructors (link) using which instructors would be able to register and create courses themselves. The expired course refresh happens when the course is not connected to any pricing mode, so only Instructor or admin can give you course access. Instructors are also Students so they can take up courses from other instructors.
2. Thanks for reporting, I checked on mac but could not replicate it, what is the safari version you’re using to check this. (screenshot)
3. I have fixed the menu items, basically everything you’ve stated can be configured based on the settings. You can enable add friend in profile display as well. Check your profile – Friends – Friendships requested, so see status.

5. It is actually connected to a bug safari, I have added a fix for this.
6. There is no “edit” option in the notes and dicussion it has been added in 2.7 update.

8. There is a switch for this called “Instructor privacy”, once enabled the instructor can only view and delete the course/attachment/images/units/quizzes/questions created by him.
I am now sure how Snax fits the eLearning system, it is mostly a viral content and marketing tool which is totally different from eLearning space. Would like to discuss this if you can share information in the mails.
Out of the 5 mentioned, last 2 started out with WPLMS which speaks about the robustness of the platform, there are many other sites coming up on Wplms, check our showcase section in support forums for more information on these.

Still looking forward to see the update. Also, from all your demo themes I think the best one is DEMO 5. Will the update include new layouts?
And another small question… I see that you showcase WPML usage in a multi-sites demo. As I told you, I need to install WPLMS in a private WP Multi-Sites network and I need to use WPML with every website that is created in my network. Can you predict any problems that I might face?

I just found another small bug:
On mobile (iPhone 7), using DEMO 5, when you open the menu and you are not at the very top of the page, you can’t tap the “X” button to close the menu. You have to scroll at the top to be able to close it.
Sure, in theory, somebody who open the menu, have the intention to navigate somewhere, they don’t just open and close it for nothing, (like some of us do with the fridge door
), but that’s only the theory. In reality, maybe someone will trigger the menu just to see the buttons.
I have an idea though, maybe you can include an “X” button at the top of the slide, not on the top bar. Or maybe include the menu in another class, on top of the top bar.
Either way, please, if you still have time to fix this, grant it a moment and fix it. I find it quite important as, in my case, I estimate that 80% of the first visits on my website will be from mobile. After that, recurring visitors will open the website from laptops as it’s obvious that it’s pretty hard to take a course and complete a quiz on small screens.

PS: I haven’t tried the other demos as DEMO 5 seems to me that’s the most stable one.

Congrats on the update! Sad to notice that there isn’t any new demo version or new features added, but this product is an awesome product already. 
Got another question: The Batches plugin that you sell separately (29$) is a similar feature like “For Enterprise” Coursera.com uses? Eg: https://www.coursera.org/enterprise
By the way, the drop-down menu still have some buggy feel. It drops down ok, but sometimes, when you move the cursor from the menu, just a half of the menu disappears. You can replicate the bug here: http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/demo6/course/basic-of-nature-photography/ Move the cursor over “Courses” , then move it over “Blog”.

We’ve already prepared new demos and will be releasing this week. Yes that is correct. Thanks for reporting I will check this, note this weird behaviour is actually connected to a safari bug which is why we need to add CSS to bypass this bug, my assumption is that this should be fixed in safari updates.
