Yes, you can embed audio in courses. You can even embed audio files in quizzes etc. You students can also upload audio files in assignments for evaluation. However, there is no voice recorder system available in the setup as of now.

Hello, why is my quiz not evaluating scores when the value contains apostrophe (‘) ? This is happening only in fill blank question type. If you add correct answer option without apostrophe, no problem but with apostrophe the quiz evaluates to wrong answer. Please any suggestions on how to overcome this? I am grateful for your help in advance. Thanks
Many thanks for reporting it, maybe php is escaping it. While I check this, as a small check can you add a \ before the ’ , like instead of can’t in correct answer field type can\’t and check again.
Thanks! the recent update corrected the issue. Another issue to check out which i just noticed: Woocommerce 3.0 is conflicting with wplms especially when Vibe custom types and woocommerce are activated. I have to disable woocommerce in order to continue adding my courses. 1. Some unites loads to infinity. 2. Theme personalize link does not work in worpdress and throws in error 500. When I disable woocommerce, the issue is gone but when enabled it continues. If i disable custom types, it works. If i change to default theme, it works. I think there is a conflict somewhere in the theme with woocommerce. Please check out this issue for the next update.
We released 2.7.2 update today with all the WooCommerce fixes. Let me know if the issues are not resolved even after the update.

@avrcata I already tried multivendor solution but it does not fit well with courseware, if you only want to include a file with your course, you could use ACF however having a digital product and a course separate with front form is a bit complicated unless you are the theme author . Automating commission is not a good thing, even affiliates release commission manually
We can take this as a feature request and add it in the front end course creator. Basically allowing instructors to attach media files, pdf’s etc when they’re creating and connecting WooCommerce product with the course.

I purchased your theme some years ago, I used it all over the time, and I’m very satisfied with it. I can say it’s the best learning theme here on ThemeForest.
Nevertheless, I contact you today in order to get some informations.
1) We’re planning to sell a learning program (16 units). There are two possibilities for the customer : 1 month subscription or one time payment.
If they choose one time payment, there is no problem at all, since the user will access all the units.
But if they choose the month subscription, we have to protect the content. For that, a drip content will be enable in order to release 1 chapter per week.
My question is how to do it ? Do we have to create two different course : one with drip content enable, the other normally set up ? Or is there a possibility to do it on the same course ? (in order to have all the members on the same course).
And then, for the customer who purchases a 1 month subscription, how we can block with drip content the other units if the customer doesn’t renewal it ? and how we can give it access if he pays another 1 month subscription ?
2) My second question is about membership. Does WPLM work with Ultimate Member Ship ? With Ultimate Affiliate ?

also, where do i load the videos first that will be displayed in the courses. what size of each video and if the students where to download or watch the video, can they select the quality of what they want (720p, 1080p, etc?
The videos are loaded in wp media, or s3 with Wplms s3, or Vimeo with videovibe plugins. No currently they can not set the quality as we’re using the standard wp media player.
i want to buy this theme but i have some question
1. can the student subscribe to 3 months, 6 months or 1 year subscription and will it automatically log them out when their membership expires?
2. if the courses are loaded (arranged) in videos, is there a way to block the student to watch only and not download the course videos?

2. Not exactly, for this we recommend using professional hosting, but even that can not guarantee your videos from being downloaded. We also have a plugin called Wplms s3 which would make the resource file available for some duration after which the resource would not be available for download. Videos
3. Yes, whatever is displayed in the demos is included with theme and full license.

Revolution Slider is a problem. I don’t have it’s license. Do you have a theme that works perfectly without revolution slider?
The theme has its extended license, so you can use it in your site. Yes revolution slider is optional, you can import the demo home page of modern theme and one instructor which do not use it. link
Hi @pctechphcom, I thought the same thing and when I will buy WPLMS I want to give my instructors the ability to sell digital goods like pdfs, ebooks and so on. So I figured that I could use woocommerce for this feature with the multi-vendor plugin. I saw themes here on codecanyon that use woocommerce and give abillity to users to post and sell products and earn a comission. As for the instructor’s payout, I must find a solution to let them dithdraw their earnings. Maybe use the paypal api. I’m not a good developer, and I know that it would be a lot of work to automate this process. It would be especially hard because there are money involved and when money are involved, there is strong attraction for hackers to pay attention to your service and that would be a never-ending task to secure this feature. Also, keep in mind that you could setup different prices for the same course. With / without digital course. This can work only of the digital goods that instructor/teacher want to sell are strictly related to the course itself.

This course is about creating a macbook mockup. Cost: 1$

Thanks for suggestion and use case. We might add a separate plugin for this “free” on wp.org but we will not include this feature in WPLMS core as it is focussed on eLearning and currently it is no dependent on WooCommerce.

I understand, this is not available as our core focus has been eLearning. WPLMS integrates with WooCommerce but it is not a required plugin so we may not add this in future as well.
Hi thanks for the response. However some student prefers to buy the course in PDF and audios so they can read/listen in it without going to the same process of logging into the site.etc. Also. if they are located in a place with no wifi available, they can still study the course. If possible, cloning the course creating front end except you are uploading files and have it included in the list product in the homepage e.g. new items, course 1, course 2, audio 1, course 3

I have the following scenario: I want to use WPLMS for courses and an Instructor – Student system. The courses are made central so it should have the ability that a course can have different instructors able to register, enroll and admin their students on the same course. At the same time an instructor should be able to look up a student if he is registered already. If a student made a basic course there should be the ability to enroll him in another course. At the same time the admin should be able to set an instructor for a particular course for the student.
So first of all is this possible with WPLMS and if so what does it take to set this up?
