Hi UNDSGN, i need to ask two presale question before buy this wonderful theme.
Can you tell me if is there a way to give a color to each blog category? This is very important for me, and if you can suggest some function or where i can modify something to do that, i’ll really appreciate that. Second question, is possible to add an svg animation in the logo header? I need a really quick animation of this when you go hover with mouse.

1. What you mean exactly by giving a different color category? Can you please just explain in the front-end where you need this?
2. You need some custom codes to activate the animation on hover, as you can see from this showcased website based on Uncode is possible use animated SVG in the logo (but you need a custom code to activate only on hover): http://braincommunicatie.nl/

I’m sorry but these are not features of Uncode unless customisations. Moreover you cannot expect to create an animation on Edge and insert in Uncode (and also any other themes).

Hi. i did everything as written with patch but problem still exists. Its only few words, but e-shop is live and its not very good. Lost translations on “Your Cart” and “Checkout”.. Words like “Shipping”, “View cart” “Update cart” and etc.. Where should i search for solution? Or should i just wait for your update? Thank you.

Hi, loving the theme! Out of the box the most well designed theme I’ve used. I do have a query though – how do you assign the accent colour for the portfolio image gallery hover overlay instead of the grey colour? I’ve trie customising the css but just can’t figure out the styling code or if there is an option I’m missing somewhere! Oh and incidentally, if I wanted all text hyperlinks to be the accent colour too (and hover to black) where do I assign that? Thanks! Richard

Hi, thanks for the reply. This is useful to know for the Post’s module block. I’m actually talking about when you’re creating a portfolio single and just using the default settings (isotope layout) for the image gallery. Do these have options for the colour overlay in theme settings or you have the CSS for this? Also, any direction on the text hyperlink accent colour mentioned above would be fab. Thanks!
Please note that you can also recreate the portfolios single layout with Visual Composer so you have more controls. Instead of the Page Media you can use the Visual Composer Media Gallery, this give you super powers. For example this layout can be creates also with VC: https://undsgn.com/uncode/portfolio/centered-gallery/

I cannot edit in visual composer anymore. I updated Uncode and uncode core but VC did not update and I still cannot use it for editting. And I also checked the permissions in VC the role manager, which were all maximum. Any ideas anyone?

Hi rolotomazi! We are sorry but this is the first time we heard about this issue, please note that Uncode as one of the ThemeForest top seller is strictly tested by Envato first. Is this a new installation of the 1.4.2?
I already had uncode installed. To update, I first deleted the theme and tried to reinstall (as I do with other themes). That’s when I began receiving that error message. To fix, i ended up restoring a backup to get uncode back on my website and using Envato’s automatic update plugin to get it to work. Thank you for your reply.

Hi im working on updating a client’s site that was built using this theme. I backed up the old theme file before updating from v1.3.3 to 1.4.2 but neglected to backup the core plugins, more specifically, the uncode core. He is on shared hosting so he cannot up the limit of PHP max_input_vars. So i reverted back to 1.3.3. Now, the post grids cannot display any custom post queries, only the default post type works. I have tried disabling all the plugins and found that the incompatible version of uncode core to be the culprit. Can you suggest a solution? I am well aware that the support period is over for him. Just hoping that there’s a quick fix. Thanks!

Hi undsgn, i actually found a copy! Turns out there was a copy embedded inside the old theme file. I should’ve thought of that. The problem was my client can’t up teh max value to 3000 and it seems like the settings weren’t sticking if that error isn’t fixed. So i reverted it back. Anyway, thanks for the help and reply!
