Why don’t you have a child theme?
I just bought your theme and with 5+ years of experience this is not a very userfriendly theme. I can’t find any of the video tutorials that are mentioned. The child theme messes up the menu. I can’t control the Home page like I want to with out having to use CSS and the point was that I bought your theme because I DON’T want to deal with CSS!!! I have send you several support tickets, but I have lost patience already and want a refund. Thank you!!!

1. We do have a child theme, and it can be downloaded in your Themeco account. You simply go to the child theme page on your Themeco dashboard.
2. All of the tutorials are listed on our Knowledge Base. They are a combination of video tutorials and step by step articles with screenshots.
3. The child theme will not mess up the menu as this is what thousands of our customers use to customize their site. It sounds like you are doing something incorrectly, and a member of our staff will be happy to assist in our forums.
4. You just purchased and joined today, so you need to allow our staff time to actually respond to you. WORST UPDATE EVER… I love spending my saturdays fixing things broken from your update.
Do you do this on purpose so people have to pay you to fix or update to your PRO version?

We have many customers who have updated just fine, so if you are having a problem with your particular site, a member of our team would need to take a look at what may be causing it. You can head over to the support page of your Themeco account to submit a ticket.

Thats sounds great and all but you changed the rules about support AFTER we paid for a license that did not have time limits.
So our support option is now not an option and expired. So basically for customers like me who supported you when you started, we are getting penalized and forced to upgrade or paymore if we need themeco support.
And just for clarification, i was a bit harsh and apologize for the tone… now looking back it looks like your update destroyed functionality of several other 3rd party plugins. Your theme updates fine IF you live in a “lorem ipsum” bubble website and dont use 3rd party plugins.
90% of wordpress users will try to find the best solution for a particular and most themes ( Including Xtheme) cant cover everything.
This is where having support would be nice but again we cant even contact you anymore since our contact was amended by themeforest/themeco to disallow email support after 6 mo =(
1. We didn’t change the rules, Envato did nearly a year ago and they require all authors who sell here to abide by them.
2. If you purchased prior to the new rules going into effect, your are grandfathered in. Your support does not expire. In the future, I would suggest reaching out for clarification.
3. We don’t control the code of 3rd party plugins. If something broke with those tools it would be something on the plugins end. Please reach out to our support staff via your account – you will see you still have full access as you always have.

Different Post Grid per Category
Hi, Is it possible in your theme for me to create individual category templates as usual and then apply your extension “the Grid” to create a different post list layout per category?

Hi. I see a lot of good words about your theme. We are working on a shop that has well over 20k products. Definitely will be reaching 100k. Right now the theme we had purchased is slowing down the site dramatically with over 20sec load times on some pages. I really need to make the right decision going forward. 1. Pagespeed & GTMetrix: Any any issues with this as now speed is a ranking factor. 2. I will use a LEMP stack, any issues with using Nginx with the extensions etc? 3. 100% WPML compatible? 4. can i have full width page & a sidebar? 5. Can i change the width of the sidebar? 6. Is it multi-site friendly? Can the theme be used in a multi-site setup? 7. If i buy this theme, can i test it one one site (demo) then migrate to a new site without having issues with the license?

1. We follow all best practices for keeping page loads down. You could try testing it against our demos, but keep in mind that we don’t use any caching there which helps increase load times quite a bit. 2. No issues that we are aware of. 3. Yes. 4. Yes, you can change the settings per page. 5. This can be done by adjusting your “content width”. The sidebar will fill the remaining space. 6. Yes, X and our Extensions work great on multisite. 7. Our validation system allows use of each license on a production and development URL simultaneously. You can also move a license to a new site at any time. The only restriction is that you need a separate license for each production site.

I am interested in buying this theme (which looks like it ticks all the right boxes), but am not sure if the regular licence would be sufficient. I have searched through a lot of the forum discussions as well as Envato’s licence explanations, but there seems to be some conflicting information. My site will at first offer all it’s content for free, but there is a possibility that I might add a premium section to the site in future that will only be accessible through a paid membership. The premium content will include more advanced articles and instructional videos (all created by myself). Does this mean that I will need the extended licence if I want to add a premium section with paid membership?

Hi guys i want to ask something before purchasing,when i go through x theme demo i cant find demo of features for pages,Blog,portfolios,shop,features like they are showing in The Gem theme http://prntscr.com/evltdk http://codex-themes.com/thegem/ because i see a lot of customization in counters,icons,grids,layouts.

Hi, is it possible to add sidebar into full page? No content, header footer on. Because when I create standard page in cornerstone with left or right sideber final result is ugly. I can see border from cornerstone created content.
