I am debating about purchasing another theme for a project I’m about to start but have a question. The client wants the ability to have a ‘click to call’ and “text us” icons in the header for the mobile version of the site. Thus if the user clicks “text us”.. . the number is added to imessage on the iphone… and a message can be sent. If the user clicks the phone icon… the user can call the client.

That wouldn’t really be a theme feature rather a small amount of custom code (a tag) at least for the call us part. I’m not sure on the text piece but there may be something similar. Let us know if you need anything further.

I’m checking your theme and want to ask if your theme is compatible with WooCommerce One Page Checkout (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-one-page-checkout/)?
I need to integrate the checkout in the single product page, I only have 1 product and the single product page I want to have should just show the product with the option to buy and finish the payment on the same page, no need for Buy button (or Add to Cart), something similar to this page: https://www.nationalmilitarysurplus.com/
Can your single product detail page do this and integrate with One Page Checkout?

Hi Joseph,
Regretfully we can’t guarantee support with 3rd party Extensions that are not integrated into the theme in some way (in this case it’s like an Extension to an Extension) 
Having said that, we do fully integrated with WooCommerce so while there may be some styling you would need to do in order to connect the dots, generally speaking most well developed plugins should play nicely with X.

Trying to revalidate the theme as after a migration it was no longer picking up latest X updates (currently 5.0.1 due to Theme breaking and giving me white pages). So went and removed it being licensed and now when I try to relicence; Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid.

I have no issues downloading updates from wordpress or uploading images, etc. Is there a problem with validating?

Wow guys, your theme look awesome, I was very close to buy it seeing all the stuff it has and the customization… But then I saw the Demo’s…And I’m sorry but you’re far under the usual demos we see… There is not a single demo that made me vibrate, or even want to see even to the bottom of the homepage… That’s bad ! Look at Betheme, it’s not that customizable, but you’ve got like 100 demos into it, and you don’t have to think, you just install the demo and replace your content! Why don’t you use more demo? Or Presets or something more easy to start?

I’m sorry our demos didn’t make you “vibrate” however demos are just a small part of what a theme can do and are meant to show part, not all of potential looks. I’d encourage you to review our Extensions (unique to X) as well as our powerful page builder Cornerstone for building your pages in a front-end fashion. Does x 5.0.3 support woocommerce 3.0? In the right column of Themeforest it does not say that it supports Woocommerce 3.0.

Thanks for writing in! We don’t specifically integrate with any LMS plugins at this time, but as X is built on WordPress best standards, any plugin that also adheres to theres standards should work well for you (although you may want to customize things like appearance to suit).

You can get a “fresh” copy by simply re-downloading the theme here from ThemeForest. Also, you do not need to register to use VC or any of our other Extensions as we provide support and updates for all of those tools.

Those may be bonus files you get if you purchase directly. We include the full product and updates but sometimes the owners of these 3rd party plugins include bonus files if you purchase a license from them directly in addition to providing direct support.

It looks like the issue on our site is that the latest version of Cornerstone conflicts with Shortcodes Ultimate. Disabling the SU plugin allowed Cornerstone to work again. Just FYI in case this might help someone else since Shortcodes Ultimate is a very popular plugin.

Hi, today I updated to the latest versions of the X theme and Cornerstone. Unfortunately, I’m no langer able to edit pages. Clicking on the ‘Edit with Cornerstone’ button results in a 404 error, stating that the requested url /wordpress/x was not found. What could be wrong?

I would check a couple things. 1) Are you sure both X and Cornerstone were updated? The latest version of X is 5.0.3 and Cornerstone 2.0.4. 2) Do you have any caching plugins installed? If so, they need to be disabled during an update to ensure you are not being served outdated files once you make the update. 3) There may be a plugin conflict with a 3rd party plugin – you can check that by disabling then reactivating a plugin one at a time to see if you find a conflict there. Beyond that, a member of our development team would be happy to assist. You can simply head over to the Support page of your Themeco account. Thanks for your suggestions. 1) Yes, I’m running X 5.0.3 and Cornerstone 2.0.4. 2) No caching plugins installed. 3) Deactivating plugins doesn’t provide a solutions.
It is possible to edit pages in the end, though: when you to X > Launch > Content and then edit pages, Cornerstone works fine.
Great! Check and make sure there aren’t two versions of Cornerstone installed on your plugin page. We saw a couple isolated issues where the plugin was getting installed twice and it created some similar issues.

Well, working in terms of being able again to edit pages, yes. But still when I select the ‘Edit with Cornerstone’ I get the 404 error. Seems that other people have the same problem…
A member of our team will need to take a look. There are all sorts of potential issues around the time of an update. We have thousands who have updated just fine, and they don’t post anything because everything is working. For those who have any isolated matters, we need to take a look on an individual basis as those are the issues you see reported.

1 / It’s optional and javascript, css and html are compressed, and is it possible to connect?
2 /A picture, Lazy Load, possible?
3 / Can I suspend reading of css which isn’t used for speeding?

1: By default X serves compressed/minified CSS/JS out the box.
2: You’d need to use a plugin to configure lazy loading.
3: As the file is already minified into one file, you wouldn’t save any time on loading by not using parts of the CSS.

We have thousands of users who have already updated just fine. 1) Make sure you have the latest versions of X and Cornerstone. Many times people forget to update one or the other and this can cause problems. 2) Make sure ALL caching plugins are turned off to ensure you are not seeing old files served. You should never leave caching plugins in tact during an update. 3) Check for plugin conflicts if you have 3rd party plugins one at a time. 4) We always recommend the use of a staging/testing environment so you can test an update before pushing it to your live site.
