Hello thanks for contacting us. Are you asking about the Bellevue Hotel theme? I see that you didn’t purchase with this account, so you may be posting on the wrong support area.
The Bellevue Hotel B&B WordPress theme has been tested with 4.8 so I think this is might be related just to your install. Please try removing all plugins that did not come recommended by the theme. If that fixes, yo can activate those plugins one by one and until you find the conflict.

Hi, another pre-purchase question: Once I’ve added an item (room) in my basket, are booking dates booked and blocked? Or will they be booked only at the end of the payment?
Thank you. You have two options, one is to set the rooms to booked as soon as the reservation has been made, the other is to set to autopending as soon as the booking has been made. You can also leave the dates open if you wish. once the payment has gone through the admin needs to update from pending to booked or open to booked. I hope that helps.

Thanks for clearing that up. The booking approval is manual if you need to confirm after payment. Although the next best thing is pending, so that when payment comes through you can check and go from pending to booked.
Also, the theme works with any booking system that is made for WordPress

Booking form is not working properly, no matter how many days I select, I still get 1 quantity on the checkout page. It used to work fine before, I don’t know what happened. I’m using latest version of theme and all plugins. What could be wrong?
Hi there, sounds like a plugin conflict. Can you try deactivating all 3rd party plugins and test? Then enable those plugins one by one until it breaks.

It’s a variable product with different price for variations. I just tried creating a simple product, same problem.
I’ve tried deactivating all plugins, still not working. It all used to work before, I don’t know why it stopped working.

Hmm. that form is not the form that comes with WPBS. It looks like some custom work has been done. We also don’t have a guest selection dropdown that changes the price. Who set this up for you?
I set it up, it is made with WPBS. It’s a variable product…the guest drop down is just product variation…with different prices. I’ve tried with a simple product that just have calender and add to cart button, it doesn’t work then as well…
Hi, so you have the wpbs shortcode and a woocommerce shortcode on the samepage? They can’t talk to each other like that. If you like you can email us your user / password and we can check it out. It looks like yo have more than just hte wpbs shortcode on that page. I could be wrong but I’ve never seen it setup this way. themovation@gmail.com

I think are you adding variables to the product. That mode isn’t supported with the booking system. It messes with the JS. You can use a variable product with different pricing but not variations (colors, sizes etc). Please see our example of using a variable product. https://themovation.ticksy.com/article/6780/
Just to be clear, are you using vacations?
If you need variations like this, you might want to try a free plugin like pinpoint, it’s free on the wordpress repo.

I’ve trying to vary the cost of the room based on number of guests. It’s only possible if I use variable product. If I reorder the js files, will that help?

Thank you. With the simple product you’ll need to use the WPBS form just below the calendar, this is the only way to track the booking in WPBS. So you’ll need to create a form, then use that form ID in the shortcode. Form gets submitted, but there is no payment step. Please help. I want users to pay based on number of days they book the form.
I don’t want to used to first submit the form, and then add product to cart, it’s confusing. Just one book now button should be there.
This is what I want: user selects days, select options, and proceed to payment. Price should be based on number of days.
Hello, so you are almost there, did you want us to login and setup a sample page for you? The book now button will turn into an add to cart , that’s how the calendar works with WooCommerce. You can skip the cart page and go right to the checkout, there is a guide for that. https://themovation.ticksy.com/article/7516/ – but first it seems that something is not setup correctly because the add to cart loops back to the product page.
Hi, I am trying to find out if your theme works with pinpoint booking system? I am looking for a theme that can work well with pinpoint booking system calendar. This means I am using the pinpoint’s calendar to display the available rooms for end user to book but using woocommerce to manage booking and payment. I tried 2 different themes from other authors but they are unable to support. My problem is that the theme is unable to capture the number of days when end user book. E.g. End user trying to block book 3 days in a row of the same room, but in woocommerce, it shows only 1 day/ 1 room booking details/fees.

The issues you mentioned seem to be from the plugin itself and not the theme but you can certainly try Bellevue. I purchased this theme and set everything up. I need to book both activities (hour blocks) and overnight. The overnight will be syncing with Airbnb, vrbo, etc. The activities do no necessarily need to. The overnight booking will effect the activities (the activities will not happen if overnight is booked). Any thoughts on how I can manage this?

Hello, thank you for your interest. The theme can work with any booking system you like to use. We’ve tested a handful, so if the bundled plugin does not suit your needs you have flexibility with the theme. The bundled plugin is a premium plugin and uses the displayed calendar for the check in and check out dates, so if you needed a pop up calendar picker then you would need to use a different plugin but can still use the Bellevue theme

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. The team that is developing WPBS has come out with a new calendar that has search but it’s not ready just yet and we are still working on the details of licensing. Until then you can always use a different plugin such as https://codecanyon.net/item/hbook-hotel-booking-system-wordpress-plugin/10622779 – from what I hear it works great and have check in check out fields.

I have bought and installed the theme. During the setup it comes to the point to import the Demo Content. I did it exactly as described in the tutorial video. But the system is always failing with an 500 internal server error message
The error log files shows the following error:

Hello, thanks for letting us know. Are you sure that you are using the Bellevue theme? As far as I know we don’t have a contact.php page and we would be using the get_date() function from the WordPress codex vs a php function like that. Can you check for me?

Hello, thanks for the follow up. I saw that and I know it was a silly question but I wanted to make sure because of the error message you posted, it said contact.php and we don’t have a contact page. 
So the admin.php import=wordpress, I see that know. so the localhost might have the script execution time set too low for the import to complete. We are using the WordPress import plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-importer/ 3+ Million installs but it could be running into a conflict or limit from the localhost server settings.
Can you control those?

Thx for the link. I set the PHP configuration exactly the way it was described. The only exemption is the MySQL version. Here I use 5.5 instead of 5.6

Hmm.. I don’t think we’ve ever seen that error before. What’s what showing up the the screen but did you check the server logs? You are running your own local version of apache right?
Of course I checked the server log. This is exactly the error log that pops up while trying to import the demo datas.
I’m running the WordPress on a server from a webhoster. The server is running with a standard installation of Plesk Onyx – Version 17.5.3. The OS is Debian 7.11
Which information you need more from me?
If you can’t find a solution for that problem , is there any kind of workaround to import the demo datas into the theme? Without these datas the site looks quite “naked” and it’s really difficult for me to understand the way the theme is working.
Hello, thanks. Try importing the demo content directly using the WordPress Importer plugin and either the Bellevue-demo-content.xml or Bellevue-demo-content.xml.gz files. Basically this is a straight up XML export from the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-importer/ and you are using the same plugin to import.

from the line that says “If you go to Tools / Import / WordPress you should be able to import the pages and placeholder images again. ”.
The other thing you can try to see if it’s the theme or possibly a server limit is to activate the twenty sixteen theme and try to run the unit test import. Found here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Unit_Test
WordPress.org uses the same process that we do, and XML file and the WordPress Import plugin.
You might want to start with a clean slate after the unit test, it imports a lot of demo content.
Let us know how that works for you. Sorry that you are running into issues. It’s very rare and because you are on a local host I can’t login to debug.
I told you, that I’M running the site on a webserver. Why you want me always to confirm a local host? I never mentioned it.

I tried now the alternative way. After having everything deleted (pages, posts, bellevue content) I was using the Word Press importer. It fails again, but now I saw in the error log file the warning:
mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 180 seconds, referer: https://xxxx.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpress&step=1&_wpnonce=3338c64c9d
After having increased the timeout to 360 the import worked fine!

I am looking for a theme I can use like Airbnb / Booking.com (Onwer side that can insert/manager his apartment/house for renting; User side that can rent in a specific period of time and pay for it by paypal; Administrator site that can manager both sides. I also need message between user and owner, check property as favorite, available dates and history of rentals. Does your theme work like that ? Or close to that ? Can I customize it ?
Hello and thanks for your interest. The theme is very customizable. If you used WordPress Multisite you could probably get close to what you are looking for. You may need to use s different Booking plugin but that’s easy enough to swap out.

Im Having some trouble with Anchor links, Am using a single page look, with 1 external page and the same top menu on both.
When i click the menu anchor links on the home page everthing works fine, the page scrolls down to the right locations. But when i click the same anchor links from the ext. page. it goes back to the home page but doesn´t go to the anchors.
What i noticed is when clicking the anchors from the home page the Url changes to mypage.com/#/anchor but when clicking from the other page it goes to mypage.com/#anchor and doesnt function.
Can anyone help me out with this.?

Hi David, thank you for contacting us. What you’ll need to do is to use ‘Custom Links” on the menu and be sure to use absolute URL’s to all your pages. Then it will work on the single page and sub pages too.

Hi again im using Custom links on the menu and full url paths. When i click the links on the home page it creates / after the #, / # / Anchor that doesn´t happen when clicking the same link from other pages.

I put the template on another site to test out. This works fine there. so something happened along the way on my site. So what would be the best way to find out were the problem is?

No. didn´t move.. just a fresh install on the other site.. same plugins activated.

Can I just check that this is compatible with a single property listing without room selection? The whole property is rented out for the booking, so I have no requirement for individual room configuration.
I also need to be able to set it to 7 day bookings only in peak season, and shorter bookings available only in low-season.

There is a minimum booking but you can’t define when the minimum rule applies, you can probably do two instances of the same calendar, one for peak season, one for regular and set the minimum days booking for just peak season.
We recommend the same for seasonal pricing.

Hello, thanks for getting in touch. The menus appear to have been imported incorrectly. Did the import get interrupted? There is an easy fix. If you go under Appearance / Menus / you can drag and drop the menus under one another to create the dropdown. https://cl.ly/1V2f3b1Z1z0I then save your changes.
As for the Bellevue notice about outdated copies of WooCommerce, you can safely dismiss this warning or ignore it. It’s just the version number at the top of the template which we have updated and will include in our next release. There are not issues with our templates
