Hi there!
I like this homepage (http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge107/) and I want to create a simple website with this structure (some images and some about us/contact information). Then, I want to create a photo gallery (maybe I will use a plugin for that). So, I don’t need “portfolio”, and I want to remove the hover/link on images on homepage. Can I do that?
Or do you recommend another way to do it?

That demo is using masonry gallery with custom link to portfolios, and you can remove links for each item, and regarding hover effect, it can be disabled with some custom css code, and our support can help you with that.

Bridge theme have a lot of widget areas, so just find some plugin which is in a form of widget or shortode, and simply add it to desired widget area – usually one of header widget areas. You can access widget areas from WordPress back end > Appereance > Widgets.

If there is option for setting animation speed, then it should work. If it it not working, please submit a ticket to our support so they can check this, and if slider needs to be fix they will provide you with instructions on how to fix it.

Fixed minimal header type is working like that, but I think that animation can be prevented with some css code so both menu and header will stay after scrolling down the page. I have noticed the Portfolio List displays ‘full’ sized images. Can you advise which file I should copy and edit into my child theme so that I can specify a smaller image ‘medium’?

Portfolio list element offered different image proportions and sizes https://www.screencast.com/t/loUCuxp5 so you can set different proportions, and if some of them needs to be changed you can do that from functions.php file and add_image_size function https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_image_size/ . We already have several image dimensions inside theme functions.php file. Note that if you are changing or adding new image sizes use regenerate thumbnails plugins afterwards.

In mobile devices, when Header Position—> Switch to Left Menu = YES then mobile logo is align to left. This is a huge glitch because of overlapping with the menu bars.
I tried some css code to center mobile log without success.
I want to use LEFT menu on desktop and mobile menu with centered logo on tablets and mobile devices.
Any help?

That code worked at least besides fixing mobile header and mobile logo heights at 48px.

Bridge theme is updated recently and upcoming updates will be smaller ones, with some fixes and adjustments for WooCommerce. We don’t have exact time of release from our manager, but we hope that it will be soon enough.

Hi Qode, Currently have an issue with the new updates, Ive been using Bridge for a couple of years now and just updated one of my websites to the latest version.

On the individual portfolio pages, how do I get photo captions to appear? I’m using the vertical wide project layout.

Portfolio layouts don’t have captions. That functionality does not exist, but you can enable captions if you use custom portfolio type and if you add images over Visual Composer single image element there is option for enabling caption https://www.screencast.com/t/H2yyYVfTj3YM .
First, you have to enable Visual Composer for portfolio post type from WP back end > Visual Composer settings
Second, when building portfolio content with VC elements, you have to choose one of custom portfolio types when you edit each portfolio.
