HEADER HEIGHT QUESTION
My header is covering body content, example is on my events, The main navigation is over my event content. Is there a way to force every page to have the same header background photo with a default height? Example would be a 100% width image and 300px height on every page. Then you can overide the image on the page if need be?

Hi, I have following questions:
1. When I use the Lifestyle theme, the 4 column images have space between and forced the 4th column image to the row below the top 3 columns. It was working fine in 4.5, the problem show up on the 5.1. I checked home page setting, it is 4 column and 100% width layout with no padding or space between. Please let me know how to fix it.
2. How can I display the parent and sub product categories at the top of the product page?

A piece of code has started showing up on the home page of the site. I think this is a bug. Please check it out and if it isn’t a bug, I will renew support to get it fixed.

This isn’t a bug, but would likely be related to some cache on your site (either through a plugin or server cache). You can add the below CSS to your custom CSS area in theme options to hide this for the time being:
.rich-snippet-hidden { display: none !important; }
The custom CSS field can be found in Theme Options > Custom CSS;
The cache would eventually reset and the meta text would disappear on its own, but the above CSS will be best to quickly remove it.

Thanks – I have added the CSS where you suggested, but it is still there. I have WP Cache plugin installed, so I cleared the cache. Then I opened up the site in a browser that I NEVER use (IE) and it is still there.

BTW – I just deactivated the WP Fastest Cache plugin and the snippet disappeared. So, even though I did clear the cache, it would seem that that was the culprit. When I reactivate the plugin, the snippet is back. Just thought I would share that follow up with you. The plugin was not newly installed, but it may have updated recently and I didn’t notice the snippet. Not sure about that!

Yes, this has come up before and was related to third party cache. However, the custom CSS I sent should take care of this for you. To ensure the theme styles aren’t cached as well, you can go to Theme Options > Advanced > Dynamic CSS & JS; and set your CSS Compiler to “Database”.

Avada Breadcrumbs dont have microformat data markup (it isnt detected for Google structured data test), with Yoast SEO problem isnt solved… when breadcrumb markup will be implemented? is very important for SEO..

It looks like you possible have the Rich Snippets disabled in the theme. That will be used to add meta information like this to your site in various areas of the template.
You’ll find that setting in Theme Options > Advanced > Theme Features; Rich Snippets;

Avada not implement in your breadcrumbs structured data (no markups) and when you use yoast seo breadcrumbs avada also disable their markups

While this is solved i found a temporary solution, in Avada/wp-includes/class-avada-breadcrumbs.php comment 164 line //$this->html_markup = ob_get_clean();
Doing this, yoast breadcrumb markups are shown. Repit: is a temporary solution.
The ideal scenario is native avada breadcrumbs and yoast breadcrumbs have microdata markups. This is very important for SEO, other themes include it.

Our theme never resizes the main logo so it doesn’t matter how big the logo is it will still work with our theme.

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

I have the Genesis framework. I am interested in purchasing the Avada .psd template and have a few questions.
1. Does the .psd template include access to all of the layers so that I can customize as much as I would like. 2. Can I use the template to create a Genesis child theme as I would with any other psd files created in Adobe? 3. Do the .psd template pack come with all of the other shortcodes, etc. that are found in the Avada theme?

1. You will only find the PSD for our classic demo and not any other demo actually since all other demos were created directly using our theme features and elements but yes the PSD files are layered.
2. I am not sure how genesis framework work and what it requires so we can not give you guarantee for that.
3. Some of the new shortcodes / elements that were added later on will not be a part of our PSD files as no PSDs were created for them.

Is it possible to have multiple (separate) blog streams in Avada? I’ve had this feature in other themes previously and would find it very useful currently… I’m just not sure if it’s built-in possible with Avada?

New question since now I’ve figured out how to add a blog feed using the Fusion Builder:
Previously, when I used the WP settings to make the Blog page a default page I had a Featured Image, and Title, a Link, and a couple Category Tags for each post on the main page.
NOW, using the Fusion Builder, I can’t seem to get it to display the same way… now it also posts the Header text from each article plus each article has a gallery and THAT shows up in the feed. It’s interesting, but not what I’m used to… is it possible to remove post content from the main blog page that shows all the featured images with links to the individual articles?

We are glad to hear that you have worked this out already and this is indeed doable using our Blog Element , however you should be able to create a exact copy of what you see on the main blog page by using our blog element since both have options for the same layout, please edit the blog element and try to check all the fields from there.

I will not renew the support license just to solve this problem.

I checked that the server existed a folder called “wp-content > uploads > fusion-scripts” and contained 129 files (65 MB).
I’ve updated WordPress to version 4.7 and the “fusion-scripts” folder has disappeared.
What is the purpose of this folder?
I deleted the cache and now there are 3 files.
Why do so many accumulate over time?

Hello,
Those the compiled files created by the JS compiler. They’re used to reduce server load by reusing dynamic JS files which come from the theme option settings on your site. If you would rather not have those files generated, you can disable the JS compiler and they will just be created for each page load (but not stored). This is essentially how Avada caches the theme options. They’ll be reset automatically each time you save your theme options or update a page.

The issue in question is actually not a shortcoming in Avada. The various image sizes aren’t used to make the layout look better, they’re used to load smaller images based on the area they’re being added to. (e.g. using a 320px wide image for a 320px wide blog featured image, VS loading the full image size and it being scaled down to 320px.) Again, this is something easily adjusted by following the guide Ammar mentioned above. You can simply disable those image sizes and regenerate your thumbnails and Avada will just load the full size image.

The Revolution Slider and Layer Slider plugins are included with the theme purchase as bundled plugins. That means your licenses for these plugins are wrapped into your theme purchase. Updates for these plugins will be included with each theme update (The latest Revolution Slider / Layer Slider plugin version at the time of the theme update release will be available for download from the Avada > Plugins page.) To update independently of the theme and use their auto update service, they require an individual purchase of their product.

In previous versions, Editors (which we set our clients up to be) – could not see the Avada Theme options panel or info on Avada (which we wanted)
Now however, they can see the Avada information plus make full changes to the Avada theme options. The same priviledges as a full admin would have.
How can we alter this so the Avada info/options are all hidden to editors and below??? Thanks

Avada doesn’t make any changes to user role capabilities. If your editors now have admin abilities, that would have to be coming from something custom or a plugin. If you check Avada on a clean WordPress install (e.g. a quick localhost installation would be fine for testing this), you’ll see that editors don’t have the ability to make admin level changes.

Hi, I get the following errors on my site when trying to access and edit a page on the backend of Wordpress. This error happend after switching to PHP 7.

Our latest theme version 5.1.6 is 100% compatible with the latest version of PHP and there should be no issues at all, however after reading the 2 errors above i believe you are hoted by siteground, if that is a yes you need to ask them to increase the OPACHE values.
Our team is in fact in direct contact with their network and DevOps architects. SiteGround do have an OpCache issue on their shared hosting platform, and it does not originate from or is due to WordPress or the theme. Their team have conducted extensive tests with higher global values for opcache.memory_consumption, which has caused an excessive memory usage and increased load on the server. Their default settings for OpCaache are not sufficient and need to be increased.
OpCache improves PHP performance by storing precompiled script bytecode in shared memory, thereby removing the need for PHP to load and parse scripts on each request. The SiteGround official explanation for understanding OpCache -> http://bit.ly/2oIy1qC
Their team has specifically instructed us to either refer existing SiteGround users that experience this issue directly to them and/or provide the official SiteGround workaround to resolve the issue.
The fix that can be applied, will set the following values as global for the shared hosting environment:
opcache.interned_strings_buffer = 16 opcache.memory_consumption = 128
- Increase the values with a custom php.ini file. You can add the PHP variable directly to a php.ini file using the File Manager tool in your hosting cPanel.
- The alternative would be to use the PHP Variables Manager tool.
