First of all I am not sure if this is the right theme for me. But I like this for example because of mobile optimisation and the visuals. But I am looking to build a Retailmenot kind of website with deals and coupons. One of my niches is in toy industry. So I need lots of conversions to be profitable. I have few questions that I would need to get answered to before I buy this theme:
1. I would like to have different pages for coupons and deals.Is it possible? For some coupons I think I would need to have only the picture of a store because I don’t think that affiliate programs provide a picture for every coupon?
2. Change the size of pictures. Like I don’t know at the moment what kind of pictures are available for me in a particular affiliate program. But usually what I have seen they are not in that sizes that you have in your demo. They are not vertical like your pictures.
3. XML import. When my site gets bigger and I have lots of coupons I need to use some coupon feed program. Is it easy to implement?
4. Stores. I would like to create an alphabetical list for stores and category based list for stores. Also I would like to add some text right below the store picture so that people would see straight away what kinds of products that particular store sells.
5. Get a fixed amount when some store submits a deal. Or what is the point of user submitting if I don’t get any profits when they add their deal to my site? So would it be possible to add Paypal option etc. with some customisation?
6. Social login. Is there that? And if not can it be added by customisation
7. I don’t know if I need a cart. I would like to have deals only as affiliate links that get me to particular store’s website. Or how that deals and cart system works in practice? How am I making profits with those. And what kind of agreements I have to make with stores? Can I sort everything out just by joining affiliate programs?
I would be so happy if you could answer these. It feels like there is no theme for my purposes so I know that I need to make customisation and hire some freelancer. But I feel like this could be a great theme.

1. Every deal can have only one coupon code.
2. You can leave a deal without pictures. We can provide you with a simple CSS code to have one background color instead of an image.
3. Yes, the theme comes with WP All Import plugin combined with a special add-on for CouponHut.
4. There is no alphabetical page for now.
5. There is no membership program implemented in the theme. It is targeted more toward profits from affiliate links.
6. The theme uses WooCommerce for logging in. There could be WC plugins but we haven’t tested any.
7. It really depends on the affiliate businesses that you are in contact with. This is a question beyond what we can provide as theme authors.
For such specific requirements like yours, you will need a freelancer to implement features that you can’t find in Wordpress themes.
Hi I am planning to create a custom deal filter with three numerical range criteria and I want this filter to appear on top of all category and store pages so that visitors can filter within that page. Is this possible? Also what other plugins do I have to purchase to make your theme work?

Latest Deals shortcode show the deals in the order they are submitted. You shouldn’t have them any other order.

1) is it possible for admin to check how many sells done for each deal? Admin should know from the woocommerce report the number of buyers who purchased for example “Deal 1”.

1. But I can see only number of sales in general and amount earned. I am not able to sort sale by product. The side bar shows no products found. Is it because the deals are not products? Or there is something else. I just need to know like how many sales for a particular Deal.

Please have in mind that with the newest version of WooCommcerce, it introduced a lot of changes so it is possible that you won’t have any data for the old deals. It is recommended to update CouponHut to the latest version. This way it will save deal data for newly bought deals by going to “Sales by product”.
Ok, Thanks. Can I update only WooCommcerce files of the CouponHut rather than updating the whole theme? Because I have done some changes to the theme’s files and I am afraid any overridden.
Unfortunately not. They are tightly connected to the whole theme. CoupoHut comes with a child theme, it is recommended to add all kind of changes there so that they won’t be overridden.
Is it possible you do the “notify the company by email after each successful purchase”? as freelancer. because I have checked with many of freelancer, and its seems no one willing to do it for me. You know better than them because this project is yours. I will pay you directly.

Please read the documentation that comes with the package zip of the theme. It is found in documentation/index.html.
1. When editing a single deal, you will find a field where you can upload the image. There is a field “Image Type” where you can select if you want an image or a slider for the deal.
2. You can create discount codes exactly like WooCommerce because the theme uses the same forms and functionality for purchasing.
Hi, is it possible to make when someone clicks in the “VIEW DEAL” button or in the deal image instead of opening the deal page it goes directly for the affiliate website? The deal page would only open if somebody clicked the deal title (post name).

Hi, I was wondering how the search function works. I have the simple search bar on the front page. I added a deal. When i search for a word that I used in that deal, it does not find that page with the deal. Instead it goes to “Posts” page and says “Sorry no posts found”. please let me know how and what the search bar actually searches. thanks

You can update the theme via the Envato Toolkit plugin or by redownloading it from Themeforest. This won’t affect any content or design, but if you have changed some of the theme’s files it will remove the changes.

1. The registration form uses WooCommerce. Maybe there are WooCommerce plugins that extend the registration form, but we haven’t tested such.
2. They can edit them but removal is up to the site admin.

Yes, some functions require higher PHP version.We have changed them in the new upcoming update for CouponHut so that there are no such problems on some webhosts.

2) The “All Companies” string is present for translation. What are you using for translating the theme?
Make sure you have translated all the needed strings in Loco Translate like “All Companies” – http://i.imgur.com/WePr4O2.jpg
Then the text string will be changed to the one you want.

I am REALLY loving this theme so far. It wasn’t quite what I had been searching for but I believe it will serve the purpose. I have purchased a great deal of themes on here is this is one of few where I’ve been able to set-up and create without any issue. I have a bit further to go but I’m expecting smooth sailing throughout. Great job.
I do have a couple questions about changing the over all name of “Deals” throughout the template and have it be referred to something else, for ex: “Gigs or Specials…”.
1) Is there a universal way to do this throughout? 2) Would changing this cause issues perhaps in some of the coding, scripts? If so, I’d rather leave it as it but if we can, we’d prefer to make a change. 3) Also, when the deal is over, is there a way or how can we continue to show the deal? For example if the user wants to still get the item at the regular price or just find that post?

1. You can localize and change the text strings of the theme with plugins like WPML or Loco Translate. You can also change the ‘deals’ slug via the “Deals > Deal Post Type Options” in the admin dashboard.
2. You shouldn’t have any problems.

2. The images are not included as they don’t have a license that allows reselling them.
3. The theme comes with “Unyson”, “Contact Form 7”, “WP All Import” (+our custom add-on), “WooCommerce”, “ACF” and our “Subsolar Design Extras” plugin. The theme installs them on activation. No additional plugins are needed to make it look like the demo.
