The tested and recommended plugin to use with our theme in such cases is WMPL. Polylang is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

Please increase your memory allocation like so: http://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and try to disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Tried opening your live demo site on opera mini – fast web browser the left side menu freezes all the time on all pages, this is not happening with any other themes, but with this particular theme. Sorry but opera mini is not a compatible browser to use with our themes. Our themes use html 5 and css3 which are not supported by opera mini. Our themes need the full version of the opera browser or any other browser, not minimalist versions such as opera mini.

I’m not sure about feeds as the theme does not handle feeds. They are handled by WordPress and plugins, but for normal pages, you can use the page template called page builder + latest articles: http://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/

After updating to the latest version my top menu cardasset.com displays black for a moment before going white and I think I have tried all of the various settings – also in checking the pagespeed I noticed it dropped way off – is maxcdn and w3 cache no longer a good option, should I switch to cloudflare and super cache – and will there be a future version with the tips to boost page speed added in?

Yes indeed you should switch to cloudflare and wp super cache as thy are the theme recommended caching solutions. But the issue could not be the cache at all. Css works in cascades. If you use the speedbooster plugin or use too many rewrites to your top menu colors, you will be able to see the change happen. The simplest solution is to make the color change directly in style.css and keep speedbooster active for page speed.

Hello,
I have the following problem:
I use WPML for two languages , En & El , and the mega menu capabilities on the main menu. When in English everything works just perfect!
When i change to the El (Greek) language though, the mega menu works only in the “all” tab and in the others shows nothing at all, and when i go the pointer back to the all tab it doesnt show anything.
The weird thing is that in when i am signed in as an admin everyting works perfect in both languages!

P.S. I tried to disable plugins etc and i didnt find a solution.

Why, with yet another big update, can we still not define the mobile theme to work with larger screens like the iPad, tablets, etc…
With all the advances in this theme, surely we can get this as an option.

Sorry but this option was never part of the general plan. The mobile version of the site is destined for mobile devices, not tablets. We did get a few requests for this but not sufficient enough for us to change the theme;s default implementation of the mobile theme. This request will have to grow in popularity before we can consider adding such options to our theme.

I need to add audio files in my posts with a responsive player for a client that is using your theme, what is your advice? I think an audio player is a must have with this theme.

Thanks. I kinda found it few minutes later but I have another question please. I have this long pages as a menu. List of country (30pages), how do I fit it into the mega menu, cuz it appears longer and cannot display all the content. I used the same in multi news themes and it was ok cuz it appeared as mega menu not a drop down

Hello, I bought this theme from Newspaper6 and it was doing good. But nowadays this theme has really big problem.
Someone is hacking my theme and always put on the code in my Newspaper’s AD area. At first I thought this was my problem and I changed many thing but it was not effective. Finally I found out this problem is not only me but also other people who bought THIS theme.(almost same code)

Hi,
please know that security breaches can happen due to a lot of reasons, including but not limited to: old theme versions, unsecure plugins, compromised wp-admin password and compromised ftp passwords. The biggest problem with WordPress hacks is that attackers usually leave backdoor opened after a successful hack. So for example even if the original vulnerability is fixed they can still gain access to your site.
I would recommend the following:
1. Make sure that you have the latest version of our theme.
2. uninstall and delete unused plugins. Try to leave active only reputable and popular plugins and update them to the latest version.
3. Change your FTP password and make sure that you computer is not infected with any stuff. (Windows Defender if enabled and up to date should do the job.)
4. Change your wp-admin password. Also check that you don’t have any other unknown users registered in wp-admin.
5. this is the harder step… check for backdoors files. You should start by downloading your wp-uploads folder to your computer and do a search for .php files. Also manually inspect your wp-config.php file and search for other strange files in your wp install directory. The ideal solution would be to put a new wp install.

Hi, u mention a few times here that the new tagdiv builder is replacing Visual Composer and though VC will still be present, no further dev will be made on it. I have a number of clients who I have directed to use Newspaper specifically because of the seamless integration it has with it. I also use a number of other VC-based addons on most of those sites. How do you see tagdiv builder and VC working together in the future or do you NOT see them working together, which would mean users will ultimately at some point have to decide to move to tagdiv builder or move to another theme for VC support?. Are there or will there be support for VC addons in tagdiv builder? Sorry so long, but this is important. If 6 months from now tadgiv VC blocks stop working because of no support, or only work in tagdiv builder, that will leave little choice. Thanks.

VC blocks will not stop working on visual composer. They will still work as they do right now. But there will not be new blocks added to VC. We will still provide updates for the plugin and still provide it free of charge in the theme package. The general plan is to develop our own page builder and not rely on VC anymore, but we do not plan to remove VC from our theme as a whole. It can still be used as an alternative to our page builder.
