Hello, I am using the following expression in a post vc_row/vc_column/vc_column . However, with visual composer it is shown correctly. When I switch to the tagdiv composer the post overlays the sidebar and goes over the whole page width.
it didn’t display the expression correctly. it should be : vc_row /vc_column /vc_column

Both visual composer or the tagdiv composer, are not recommended to be used on posts. Please use this guide if you want to use visual composer: http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and if you want to switch to the tagdiv composer: http://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ Unfortunately for posts, neighter are viable solutions. The page builders were intended to be used on pages in our theme, not on posts. Also please do not use both page builders at once. Choose one or the other but do not keep both active at the same time. The pages built with visual composer will have to be re-created in the tagdiv.composer like this guide specifies: http://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

Unfortunately using a sliding element inside another sliding element is not a viable solution as the ‘pagination’ on both elements will conflict with one another. Please do not use sliding elements inside smart lists that have pagination. You can use it inside smart lists that do not change the current p[age like for example smart list 2, 4 or 5

You can add icons to the menu using the font awesome 4 menus plugin as they have a huge repository of icons you can choose from. The icons on the arts and crafts demo were created specifically for that demo, so you need to install the demo in order to use the icons.

Sorry but we I do not know what shortcodes you are after, but adding new elements to visual composer is no easy task. You will need substantial coding knowledge. We suggest hiring a freelancer/developer as we cannot offer any solution in this regard.

I;m not sure what facilities you are referring to but the theme has no options for AMP. The implementation is added by using the AMP plugin. The plugin is the one that should provide the options you are looking for.

We are moving several websites to the Newspaper theme. At this point, one question we have concerns how to set up two ads in the masthead of the new website. You can see the existing site here (http://stthomassource.com/) and there are two ads on either side of the masthead. We are curious if others have had to set up something similar with Newspaper? Have you done it in the theme dashboard with some custom CSS or did you have to put it directly into the page template file? Thanks!
On our staging dev site, we’ve set up Style 11 for the header. We have two ad zones that need to appear on either side of the “Text Logo”. You can see what we currently have set up here (with some configuration of the template) http://stjohnsource-com.visource.staging.wpengine.com/. The ads are currently above and below the Text logo.

Hello,
I am working on this theme for a client and I’m a bit stumped.
Is it possible to use CSS to make it so the ’ block titles ’ appear on the ’ category ’ pages.
When you set up article viewing / category pages it puts a default #td-category-header #td-page-title
Where as I’d like it to match the front page, which is using a block title.
If it’s not possible with CSS would you have the code I could use to edit the theme?

You can have a go at it with css if you like but it will be missing the markup needed for this to work. It needs 2 containers to be able to get the block title style so you should change the html as well. The theme has no options in this regard so it has to be made custom.

the only downside is, I’m not trying to put it where the title is on the category pages, I’m trying to put it just above the td_module_3.php, so it looks just like the blocks system on the front page.

You seem to be on the right track. The only downside now is that you will have to move the code inside the ‘page content’. Inside the content area where the sidebar is. It means adding it inside the .td-pb-span8 class so the title does not stretch beyond the sidebar. Try to add it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Bv0HdU0l10

After updating to 8.0; stretched row is affected by the new TagDiv Composer. 4 Columns doesn’t work unless the new composer plugin is uninstalled.

Yes, we do not recommend using both builders at the same time. If you plan to use one or the other, please disable the second one as both will create incompatibilities between them.

I understand, but unfortunately the mobile search does not have any options to be changed. You will have to add it manually from the thee code. This also depends on the mobile theme plugin if you use it or not as the modification is different for the standard responsive version and the mobile theme plugin. Hello; Once again theme gets better everyday thank you whole team with amazing effort… I just wonder if it’s possible to enable “Slider Revolution” for mobile theme. I have created a slide and want to place it to my mobile sites home page. If it’s not is there a way you to do it via some css help or html change. I have Child-Theme installed so no worries…
Btw: Would you please add a slide style (in the future updates) that contains tumbnails or numbers as shown below (which almost every singel newspaper site uses)

Do you use Mobile Theme plugin? In this case you will have to place the revolution slider shortcode in Mobile Editor – https://www.screencast.com/t/WjNBHkFrqJ
I guess that a similar slider could be created using Revolution Slider. I will add your request on our list, but I cannot promise you anything in this regard.

Hi Alin. Thank you for your reply. This worked perfectly. I created a child-theme file for that. Made a copy of front-page.php under “Newspaper-child/Mobile/ ” but it did not effect when you do the change. It works fine when you do the change on hardcode (which I do not like to play with) Would you please show a way to do it property on Child-theme so people wont break the front-page.php . (Btw thank you for screenshot explanation…)

Sorry but the mobile theme cannot be edited in the child theme. You will have to make the modifications in the main theme. Hard coding is the only solution for this customization.

I have selected header style 7 on http://cadarmarius.ro/ but that header is with white background, why on mobile the header is with grey background? Should not be sync the background color, because for branding using 2 different backgrounds and changing colors on logos is not the right way to do it. Or maybe i had missed some setting? How can i have same background color for menu in desktop and mobile version? I see on mobile is always dark. Can You sync them?

If the access token does not work it means you have the previous version of the plugin. Please disable and delete your social counter plugin and then update your theme to the latest version using this guide: http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ And then install the social counter version that comes with the latest update.

TagDiv Composer is not working. When trying to edit an existing page it just loads forever, and when trying to create a new page it loads my empty website’s template but then nothing happens.

Please try to increase your memory allocation: http://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and see if the problem is still there afterwards. It can also be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
