Best way to achieve this is to install WordPress on your local machine (localhost) and then to try different demos. In this way you can see which options we used and you can reproduce that on your live page. or you can copy entire content from that page from text editing mode, and then paste it to some page on your live site.

Social share button cannot be displayed inside of a light box unfortunately, since light box isn’t static page, and sharing it on social network would mean that you are actually sharing link to that page, and not to the image itself.

Such an option does not exist in our theme, and we are not aware of a plugin which offers such functionality, so you will need to search for one. As explained previously since light box isn’t page even if you find plugin with gallery which offers this, light box image cannot be shared, only link to a page can be shared on social networks.

I noticed that you use prettyphoto that has {pp_social} and social_tools function that is supposed to insert the social icons. is it correct? why it doesn’t work on the theme?

prettyphoto script is used in many themes and plugins. By default it is used for Visual Composer plugin for example for Image gallery element and adding image gallery will not load social icons because script is configured like that. Theme offers predefined contact page template but if there is a need for custom set of form field Bridge theme is compatible with Contact Form 7 plugin which is also used in variety of our demos. Ive recently expired my support, so if you can’t answer this quickly I understand. I love the theme, but for some reason I cannot find an easy way to have the entire thumbnail in the portfolio list “linkable” to the portfolio page item. The little title text is linkable, as is the “view” button, but I want the whole thumbnail to link. Is this just a quick setting somewhere? thank you.

We just bought your theme last week and are in the process of installing one of your various demos but it seems that the demo we wanted isn’t listed in the Quode Import or on http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridgetour/demos/. The specific one we wanted to import and use as a base layout/design is located at http://bridge17.qodeinteractive.com/. Any help would be much appreciated.

Really disappointing to see such little released in today’s updated version of your theme. Almost 6 weeks since your last update. Looks like none of the suggestions we put forward to improve your theme over 2 months ago are in there? You still have little to no compatibility with WordPress multi-site for optimised performance there and there are a number of basic issues with the admin area of your theme still. Which is surprising given this is version 11.1 ?And your theme has been on the go for over 3 years since creation….. hopeful you can put some improvements in the next version and it comes out much faster!

Theme have a lot of options and features, and with demo import fixed everything will work just fine. All suggestions are being forwarded, and team behind Bridge theme is considering and implementing changes and functionalities. Multi-site support is present, and improvement can be applied regarding saving of static files instead of dynamic ones which is good improvement and it will be applied in some future update. What is your other suggestion, since I cannot find it by searching dashboard so I can ask dev team regarding it.

Ok, can you post that timescale back here within say no more than 48 hours please? Your theme out of the box doesn’t work well with multi-site at all. And the load time is really poor because of this. We’ve purchased around 15 WordPress themes in the last 2 years, and Bridge is up there with the slowest at the moment. You should look at in built minification of JS, HTML and CSS within the theme settings. I.e. the ability to toggle on and off. We are averaging around 3 seconds for a first page load of our website designed with your theme. Other websites on the same server with other themes are hitting around 1 second for first load, which is the benchmark we should be working towards.

Our team confirmed that dynamic files for multi-site installations will be replace with static ones in next major update, so this will be fixed and it is one of first tasks on the list. Unfortunately we don’t have precise time since it can be changed easily depending of circumstances.

Ok, but it’s now almost 6 months since we originally reported the problem to you in a support ticket!!!! And in my eyes, this is major. Your theme is not compatible with WP multi-site in it’s current form. The load time is awful!! The worst of any WP theme I’ve seen in multi-site, and to date we’ve used about 30-40 themes in multi-site. You need to put a much higher priority on this in our opinion. There is a huge volume of people that use multi-site for WordPress.

How long though!!??? We reported the issues over 6 months ago like I say, and between now and then you have literally done nothing!! Nothing!!!! It’s not ok in it’s current form. I’ve never seen any other theme have such a problem like this. I have no faith that you will be able to rectify this at any point in the future and you clearly don’t see it as a priority. Wasting my time and breath here I think…... Ultimately trying to help you improve your theme and fix a very fundamental and large issue with it!!

We appreciate your suggestion, but as I explained, it is up to our dev team and manager, and in previous conversations change is enlisted and it is on developers to do list, so it will be applied trough next theme major update. We don’t have time of release of course because some other changes are being prepared also. This is how our team work, and release date isn’t revealed to anyone until the week when it will be released. I would really love to tell you when exactly it will be released but I don’t have that info.

I can see in your latest theme version 12.0 you have tried to tackle the issues we reported with the Bridge theme in WP multi-site. We’ve updated to the latest version, but the issues we reported with slow load time still exist. The style_dynamic_responsive.php file for example still takes the same time to load, around 3.5 seconds. When we apply your theme on a single WP install that is not fed from multi-site, the load time is fine. Not rapid by any means, but acceptable. In WP multi-site the Bridge theme is still giving a 4 – 6 second load time on a server that other themes give us 1s to 3s load time. Hoping you can address in future releases.

You need to re save theme option and if file permissions are set correctly for that folder static file will be saved instead. Try to do that and test again, because we tested this before update and static files worked on multi site installation.

Ok, I’ve done that and can see the changes now. Load time is better, but still not great. The external CSS and JS not being combined is giving low page score and seems to contribute heavily to slow load time. Still lots of files! I’m seeing 141 requests for the site in question’s homepage, and about 120 of those are theme files. I.e. in the /bridge folder.

That part needs to be improved with some caching plugin. You can use WP fastest cache or maybe W3 Total Cache. In general test domain with some testing tool and follow instructions for speed improvements. Our support can give you some usual guidelines for improvement, and you can also search for speed improvement in public ticket.

Well aware of all of the major WordPress caching plugins and how to optimise a WordPress site to be running as fast as possible, my point is that your theme is still very slow in comparison to other themes. We’ve used about 15 different WP themes in the past 2 years, and yours is about the slowest we’ve come across, perhaps with the exception of the Avada theme. You have a very versatile theme with lots of settings, but it is still really slow….... something to continually work on. It should be faster out of the box.

We understand that it is slower on your installation, but speed depends on hosting server speed, optimization and amount of plugin which are being used. Theme itself is using a lot of scripts since it is multi purpose theme which is normal but every plugin will also include its own scripts and stylesheets and that also counts. You can see best sellers speed comparison on this link https://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/performance-test-top-10-wordpress-themes-on-themeforest--cms-29605 and you will see that our theme is fast enough, and some other themes with similar functionality are considerably slower. We will continue to improve theme code but in future updates, but I really don’t think that it will impact speed very much in your case. You need to decrease amount of plugins and to combine them with some caching plugin. Please contact our support if you need some guidelines for improving loading times.

To be clear, I’m saying your theme is slow in comparison to other WordPress themes on the same server. So you can take server scope and plugins and setup totally out of the equation, as we have a setup for like for like comparison against themes. Hoping you can continue to work on speed improvements going forward. Removing the number of files is the obvious solution. Also to look at caching/minifying within theme settings. I.e. putting this in place specific to your theme. WP themes like Ark, Avada, Houzez etc all have this in place in theme settings which make their themes faster out of the box.

As we already stated, we think that it is not slow, and your specific setup is making it slow, and off course we will continue to improve it. Including caching optimization isn’t possibly anymore since this is plugin territory now, and plugin standards requires usage of a plugin for that purpose.

Probably there is some issue with resources, or some plugin conflict, so try to increase PHP directives like below:
max_execution_time = 300;
memory_limit = 128M;
upload_max_filesize = 64M;
post_max_size = 256M;

Plugin is loading additional jQuery libraris OWL carousel and have its own AJAX for loading posts, so if it isn’t coded nicely it may trigger some errors, and also you will definitely need to disable our AJAX page transitions from Qode options > General, and it should be working, but we didn’t tested it, and we cannot know if something else can go wrong with it.
