Probably there is some 3rd party plugins conflict with our AJAX page transitions, so try disabling transitions.
Page transitions create nice effects when navigating through website. When transitions are turned on, header and footer are not reloaded, only content get reloaded. This can cause issues mostly with some plugins because they demand their scripts to be loaded in header or footer and they are not. If you happen to experience this later on while you are developing your site, note that first thing to do is to turn off page transitions.
Page transitions can be turned off from:
1. general options Qode Options > General
2. local options (when you edit your pages), note that these settings will overwrite global settings from Qode Options for specific page
3. Also you can turn off page transitions for specific pages by writing page URLs from Qode options > General > List of internal URLs loaded without AJAX (separated with comma)

hello! I just want to make sure that I don’t screw up the site by updating the theme. I am having problems with the blog carousel titled, as the the categories aren’t working. I know that the new update will fix this issue. So, if I replace the content of /wp-content/themes/bridge via FTP, none of the settings I currently have, colors, menus, plugins, custom CSS code on the general options are going to disappear, correct?

Yes, all settings and content on your website is saved within WordPress database so by updating theme files over FTP you won’t lose anything but note that it is always advised to create full backup.

If you are concerned about amount of installations, it is just important to have same number of live website as amount of purchases of our Bridge theme.

And thanks for the explanation. Such functionality does not exist in our theme. Solution to this would be to add custom menu to the right side area, and then to hide it on larger screens with some css and also to hide mobile menu on touch devices. Also, you can search for some off canvas menu plugin in order to extend theme functionality like that.

I’ve been using the Bridge theme for a few years. I’m attempting to use Woo Commerce and having major problems. I’m running Bridge version 11. I’m also using the most current version of WooCommerce (3.0.8). As soon as I turn on the plugin, the screen goes blank and my site goes down. I have to go onto my FTP to remove WooCommerce and the website comes back online. What could be causing WooCommerce to lock up my website as soon as it’s activated?

This could be due to lower PHP version, and smaller values for some PHP directives and memory limit. Please check WooCommerce requirements on this page https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/ and then check PHP info on your website with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/ . In case that some values are lower, especially PHP version, you’ll need to contact hosting support and to ask them to make adjustments.

I’m still waiting to hear back from my host company about increasing the PHP. But in the meantime I increased the memory limit myself through the PHP.ini editor and that fixed the problem. WooCommerce is working normally now. Thanks again.

WooCommerce 3 image gallery features are new https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/wiki/Enabling-product-gallery-features-(zoom,-swipe,-lightbox)-in-3.0.0 , and they are induced much after we launched our theme theme, so we cannot just change our default functionality because of all theme users who are using and who like to use lighbox. At the moment I don’t have any precise information regarding adding these new features, but as time comes, probably there will be more requests for this, and our team will have to integrate them.

I’ve updated to the new version of the theme but not my homepage sliders aren’t working and when I go to update the page visual composer doesn’t come up just has “loading, please wait” and doesn’t do anything. Has this come up for anyone else? Any solutions? I’ve been using this theme for a couple years now and I’ve also renewed support a few times. I’m not doing it again, it’s your update that broke my website so I would expect you to tell me how to fix it.

After theme update, you also need to update bundled plugins, especially Visual Composer, so after theme update, deactivate and uninstall all bundled plugins, and then install them again from the message at the top which will be displayed.

I am currently using split screen for my landing page and would like to know if there is a way to create a menu that will anchor to sections on the split screen, basically replicating what the dot navigation does, but with section names.
