I am trying to add an image carousel to the homepage of a website. It is set to span across all columns for the full width of the page, and I have it set to display 10 images at once, however, as you can see at www.waglercompetition.com (on the bottom of the page) it is limited to one very small space all the way on the left with no logos visible. Any ideas on what’s wrong?

nice theme, can you fix the w3c validator issues?

I’m afraid that’s hard especially when third party plugins are used in the mix as well. W3C’s validation tool became questionable a few years ago when they would not validate CSS3 markup. Additionally, sliders, or with lots of JS in the mix, good luck validating.

I don’t think this is a feature frequently requested so I don’t think I’ll be adding it. Frames around images or video are thing of past, currently the web design trend is to keep layouts clean and simple without shadows and frames.

I know this is a repeated question, but I am using Buddypress with multisite so people can create their own subsites using the subdirectory method. Is the uDesign theme ok with this? Will people be able to use the uDesign theme on their subsite if I network enable it?

unfortunately, the theme has not been built for Multisite and neither have we tested it extensively on it, it might work but I don’t guarantee that. I built it exclusively for WordPress single instance.

I was thinking of purchasing your theme for a client of mine, and I was really interested in the Google page speed test of 99% you have advertised. But on running my own page speed tests for Mobile and Desktop the result came back as poor, with Mobile at 24% and Desktop at 26%.

there are many resources to test speeds, my results were based on the Envato survey they conducted and at the time I had it at 99, now if you run it it will still be in the 90’es but I haven’t re-tweaked it since plugins, WP and the theme has recently been updated: https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/GCwB5/http://dreamthemedesign.com/themes/u-design/
Unlike many of the newer theme’s here my theme is lighter weight and not hard to make it store well.

Another thing I noticed you’re NOT testing the main demo but some of the other demos. Keep in mind that I’ve done “0” (zero) effort to optimize those other demos, that doesn’t mean they cannot achieve awesome results, it’s just it’s too much work for me to maintain all those demos. It’s the same theme after all, so if I can demonstrate I can achieve great results with one I don’t need to do it for all!

currently the theme doesn’t offer sticky menu on the left as in that website, that is something that could be custom code but it would require some advanced knowledge of CSS, if you’re up to that sure you could do it, but unfortunately we don’t have any ready solution to give you at this point and neither this has been requested in the theme’s support forum in the past.

Hello There, I’m very happy with this theme, I’ve been working on it for several Years, It allow you any kind of personalization, definitely i would recommend it.
No I want to make an step ahead and I have included a woocommerce extension, and I am facing the following problem:on the product sheet, just on the superior left side and behind the name of the product, appears a text “Productos dieteticos” that i do not know from where is coming from , when i use any other theme like the text disappear and the product sheet is shown properly.

You were supposed to unzip the initial zip file you downloaded after purchase onto your hard drive and then inside you would find Documentation and another zip file called ‘u-design.zip’ which is the actual theme. Please refer to the Documentation for installation instructions.
If you end up doing the FTP method to install the theme then make sure the directory path to the theme files look like this:wp-content/themes/u-design/

Since I did the latest update my Visual Composer is not working. I uninstalled VC and reinstalled, uninstalled the entire theme and manually reinstalled, even purchased a license for VC thinking that would fix it and nothing. Can you help? My support has ran out but I have purchased at least 4 licenses for this theme…

Hi Andon, I updated to the latest version of this theme and Revolution Slider has stopped working. I click on my slider to edit my front page and I just get redirected to a blank page… nothing else happens. As per the pop up from Revolution Slider – I’ve cleared my site cache and my browser cache. I’ve also tried to edit on Safari, Chrome and Firefox – it’s the same in each of these three instances…. any help would be appreciated. Amanda

To your question, I’ve never used that plugin so unfortunately I don’t have any feedback to give you, but if the plugin is written following WordPress best coding practices then I don’t see a reason why it would not work with the theme
