Good night. Thank you for the beautiful theme. There’s only one problem I couldn’t solve. I translated the .PO file and rename it to my language pt_BR. But it’s still all in English. Is it because I’m using the child theme? Could you tell me what I’m doing wrong? Thank you.

Is there any reason why WooCommerce would break the back-end/wp-admin with your theme? Keep getting HTTP500 error when WooCommerce is activated.

For further investigation we could assist you only on support forum, since we need wp-admin access. So, did you check resources? Could be that resources on your server are too low. Also, we could suggest to contact your hosting provider and ask them to check error log. On that way you’ll find out what exactly is causing this issue.

Hi there,

I have further singled out that the issue is with your theme and WooCommerce. When activating another theme (Storefront) the error does not occur. I have set my resources to their maximum values.

Furthermore, I refuse to renew my support in order to have this issue fixed. It has not occurred because of any fault of my own.

Is there any problem with your theme? Because it doesn’t work. When I do some edit on a page there is no change after saving it. And it comes back to default. It’s really weird.

Theme is working just fine on our testing environment. If you have problems with saving changes on a page, please make sure that you are using latest theme version, and after installing latest version please uninstall included plugins and install them again from the info box message which will appear in order to install latest included versions of these plugins. Also, this could be caused by some 3rd party plugin conflict so also try to disable all additional plugins and leave just theme and plugins required by the theme.

If problem persists then please contact our support team by submitting a ticket at https://mikado.ticksy.com and provide WordPress and FTP admin access in your ticket so they can investigate this further on your end.

I’ve just updated the theme and things are a right mess. Have a sidebar appearing on the homepage now, of which I cant get rid of.

It may be related to some change in Contact Form 7. Try to download some older version from this link https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/advanced/ , from drop down as shown on this screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/Iua9gO2Ox and install it instead of latest plugin version and test again.

All demo content can be imported with our one click demo importer, so you can choose which pages you are going to keep, and to replace demo content on this pages with actual content and to delete the rest.

Since it is only additional field for link, and wrapping image with that link it is smaller modification, but you need to be familiar with coding, or you can hire someone to do that for you.

If you are using latest version of the theme you can install Visual Composer 5.0.1. Simply uninstall current version, and install it again from the info box which will appear at the top. Also, you can contact our support at https://mikado.ticksy.com/ and by providing WordPress and FTP admin access they can also perform plugin update for you.

This issue can commonly occur when user sets SSL certificate on a website where it wasn’t present and installation wasn’t configured initially in that way. You could try using some SSL links fixer plugins like maybe following ones https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/ http://ithemes.com/codex/downloads/fix-ssl-non-ssl-links.zip but that doesn’t guarantee fixing the issue. More proper way would be to remove images that are causing this problem and re-uploading them again. By using google chrome developer tools console you can find list of images that are causing this issue.

1. You will need to generate gmaps API key in google console, and add your site to the list of authorized sites. https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key?

Then, you should enter your key in Mikado Options > General https://www.screencast.com/t/VUSzZdTbysL

After that you can in our shortcode add your desired address. When entering address you can also use lonitude and latitude for more correct display of the location.

If you still can’t display the correct location please submit a ticket to our support forum https://mikado.ticksy.com/ and provide our team with your wp-admin credentials so they can take a closer look at your settings.

Theme update will be released very soon, but until then, please you can use previous version without no problem until we release compatibility update. We’re currently working on major update for all our themes, which will include plugin updates as well, but we can’t tell exactly when it is going to be released. You can use older versions for now, it is safe, and you will be notified by Theme Forest when new version of the theme is out.

I have used the Mikado video slider + your Burst WP theme on this site: http://reviumgroup.com On desktop – everything seems to be working fine. The purchase istock video plays fine.

However, on mobile devices – for some reason the slider video was pulling the original iStock watermarked video that we used initially in the drafts for placement. I removed this video from the media library, checked/replaced the video url with the purchased one but now it doesn’t pull any video – it just stays black with a loading sign.

I can’t see where the option is to add the mobile video version, please could you advise?

Also, I am not sure why but the theme is still asking for a purchase code to activate layer slider and VC? I need this fixed also to enable auto updates

On our side, it plays the same video in both resolutions. Please delete your browser’s cache or try with another browser. If you still have problems please open support ticket at https://mikado.ticksy.com/ and our support agents will assist you on that problem.

When it comes to error messages, we bought extended license for these plugins (Visual Composer and Layer Slider), and we can’t give you license code because of policy and terms of Theme Forest, because of that we included these plugins in our theme (you can find plugins in theme folder/plugins/ there are installation files of these plugins), also we will update these plugins to the latest version with theme update so you just need to wait for next theme update and there will be the latest version of plugins if it exists. Then when you update theme you just need to go to your back-end Plugins and to deactivate/delete these plugin then you will get some notification to install necessary plugins to our theme, then just click to install/activate again these plugins and that will be all. If you don’t get this notification to install necessary plugins, then just go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload -> Find these plugins in our theme folder/plugins select one by one and click import/install.

Basically, you can ignore activation messages and use your plugins freely.
