If it would be that simple i would not write here. It brakes your full theme no options get loaded. Several Errors on your Theme Core files in custom_js.php ,default_dynamic.php and default.min.js . As a Result, you not even can change the default logo, color or scroll the page. Just hiding is not an option.

If dynamic files are not being loaded, that is totally different thing and commonly it is issue caused by incorrect file permissions https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions or it can be caused by security or caching plugins and scripts. I also tested on local testing installation and all options are working fine. If you cannot debug and fix this by changing file permissions and by disabling plugins our support can help. Regarding not found page, That is standard 404 page, and it is disabled because portfolio item doesn’t exist, and if portfolio list isn’t showing images, make sure that your portfolio items have featured images set.

If i purchase the subway theme and uninstall the unauthenticated copy with maintaining the data base and wp content, and then install the purchased one will everything be in place ? All required plugins are included with the theme (Layer Slider and Visual Composer) and you don’t need to buy them separately. Purchase code for bundled plugins cannot be given to end users, and they will be updated with each theme update as explained in following Envato article https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins?_ga=2.245886596.1068361229.1494855372-1438803025.1429707923 .

Each installation requires separate license. For example if you install the theme on another domain or subdomain you create a new instance. Yes, sorry for the miss. It is bridge theme back end. For Subway theme, there is no such option but you can use just first three footer columns and with css below hide last one and increase width of visible columns to 1/3:
