Hi, I noticed you updated the theme last week, but there is no note on the change log area of the theme page that says what’s changed. What are the changes for the latest release?

It wasn’t updated unfortunately. We just had to resubmit files since Envato requested theme files again. They were lost somehow.

Subway is not PHP7 conform !! , Errors prevent the qcode to load any settings. Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; Qode_Theme_Options has a deprecated constructor in wp-content/themes/subway/includes/qode-options.php on line 12

That is just warning regarding constructor which will be removed in some future PHP versions but not any time soon. Just disable wp_debug and warning will be gone https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG . I will add this to our to do list and developer will change constructor for next theme update.

If it would be that simple i would not write here. It brakes your full theme no options get loaded. Several Errors on your Theme Core files in custom_js.php ,default_dynamic.php and default.min.js . As a Result, you not even can change the default logo, color or scroll the page. Just hiding is not an option.

I already explained to you what that warning means and it is not related to other issues which you are experiencing. If dynamic files are not being loaded, that is totally different thing and commonly it is issue caused by incorrect file permissions https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions or it can be caused by security or caching plugins and scripts. I also tested on local testing installation and all options are working fine. If you cannot debug and fix this by changing file permissions and by disabling plugins our support can help. Just contact them by submitting a ticket at https://qode.ticksy.com and provide WordPress and FTP admin access.

Dear SIrs, after updating Wordpress we have problem with files, css and js files generated with php. We tried file permissions,, httaccess, code in files. Like /wp-content/themes/subway/css/style_dynamic.php?ver=4.9 has 403, but normal is old instalaltion with /wp-content/themes/subway/css/style_dynamic.php?ver=4.7.5

This could be due to file permissions. Please try to set them as explained on WP Codex https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions , and if you are using some caching / optimization plugins, try to clear cache and disable them also and test this again.

Thanks for updated theme mate, but how do i load update without messing my site up?

Hi there,

First create full site backup just in case, and then upload subway folder files over existing ones on your server: wp-content / themes / subway. After that uninstall existing required plugins and install new versions from the message box which will appear at the top, and finally save changes from Qode options in order to make sure that your color settings are applied. It sometimes fails to update because it doesn’t have function which will state that it is part of end product, but you can simply delete it, and to install it again and latest version will be installed which is 6.4.4. If that is the version you already have installed it is most up to date version included with the theme.

Try to enable WP_DEBUG https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG in order to be able to see error if any. It could be due to low PHP version. You can write to our support if you continue to have problems at support[@]qodeinteractive.com

This is absolute bad template. I’m doing web on this, but it has a lot of mistakes and bad code: - overwrited VC code, standard function not works, must be disabled in template code - horrible compatibility with WooCommerce, you cannot use a lot of WooCommerce plugins, most of them not works, because template overwrites WooCommerce functionality (impossible change checkout form with plugin). When you use in other language as English, it’s not useable and you must check template code and disable and change it - css is very bad - when you are not a developer, don’t buy this !!!
