Basically the only “yes” answer is to the GIF, Twitter, Instagram embedding. Though, I do plan to look into Google AMP and Facebook Instant Articles for a possible future update. And I may even include SportsPress integration as well.

1) That is more of a WooCommerce question, but the theme is fully compatible with the plugin. But the payment function is connected to the plugin and not the theme.

2) I have not been contacted by that customer, which tells me that this is a made up issue to try and discredit the theme and hurt my sales. I am in the process of trying to deal with the situation, but I have not heard of any such issues from any other customers and have 5 other customers who have given the theme 5 stars.

3) Yes, that is an optional ad and is actually disabled by default, so you would need to insert ad code into the Theme Options in order to activate it.

4) Above all else, the design is a major upgrade, but Zox News also comes with 2 plugins (Reviewer and Theia Post Slider) that Flex Mag does not. It also has a few other options like the Continue Reading button, better social sharing options, and a few other small differences that I believe improve on Flex Mag.

Thanks for the info. I have a couple more questions

1. In a post the text is left aligned which is standard. Is it possible to have the text align to both the left and the right at the same time like we do in word doc?

2. I am sure we can change the font and text size in the typography and text colour, highlight colour in the settings. Can you confirm this?

1) That is more of a general WordPress question, and I don’t believe WordPress has a “justified” alignment option.

2) You can change the font, link color, and highlight color easily from within the Theme Options. But changing the font size is something you would need to modify on your own.

Yes, those are widgets and you can use as many or as few widgets as you want. Each section is a widget, so it is completely up to you how you arrange them and how many you use.

Cool. Another question – I see there is wallpaper ad. We currently have Google Ads on each side of the current theme. Will it be possible to implement Google ads via wallpaper ad or we should do it via CSS and code like now?

Unfortunately, Google Ads cannot be used as as the Wallpaper Ad. You will need to enter the URL of your image and the URL of the click-through link in the Theme Options in order to set up the Wallpaper Ad, so no other ad code can be used. However, for all other ads, you are free to use Google Adsense or any other ad code.

You can have any combination of menu with any combination of Featured Posts section. I only paired the menus with the Featured Posts sections that way in the demo because the smaller menu nav looked better with those Featured Posts layouts than the larger one did.

You can insert any html or javascript code you want, and it doesn’t even have to be linked to anything. So, yes that is certainly possible.

Thanks, but I want to simply upload an image to whatever specks needed ie 2000px by 300px for example to fit the homepage. I don’t need any html or java script code. Hope this makes sense. If it had to be html what would be the the necessary html language to achieve my goal? Thanks.

You can upload the image via WordPress, and then just use the URL for that image in the HTML code, which I could provide for you should you decide to purchase the theme.

1) Yes, you can use any html or javascript code in the ad spaces, including Google Adsense.

2) There is no built-in ad management system, but you can use a third party service like Google DFP, where you can set up an ad campaign and they’ll give you ad code that you can then use in the theme.

3) The dimensions of the leaderboard ads are not fixed, so they can be as wide or as tall as you want. But the ads in the sidebar can only be a maximum of 320px wide, but they can be any height.

4) I have not tested the theme with WPML, but the theme is translation ready and comes with translation files.

The theme comes with XML data from the demo, but that doesn’t include the demo images due to licensing. All images will be replaced by a dummy inage.

Thanks for the reply. Bummer With so many people abandoning push notifications RSS has been making a major comeback. Millions of people use feedly so for a lot of publishers it’s just a must to have RSS near the top and not buried in the footer. Unless you use those 4 specific sharing buttons guessing lots of people are going to want a way to put their top 4 buttons up in the menu. Will check back for future updates to see if those top buttons can be edited.

The feature in this theme is not a true “auto load post”, but rather a “teaser post” feature that displays part of the post and the viistor will need to click the “Continue Reading” button in order to view the rest of the post.

I did this for a few reasons. 1) Because the auto load post feature in Flex Mag was causing conflicts with some javascript plugins within the auto loaded posts, and 2) because the feature in Zox News will lead to true increases in page views rather than artificial ones like Flex Mag.

Thank you for your answer, I was hoping that the autoload feature will be updated to avoid the conflicts with javascript. I wanted to use the Flex mag theme really bad but it kept breaking every time there was a third party ad (java script) in the article so I never moved on to Flex Mag.

I really had hopes that this theme (since it looks amazing) will have that sorted out because I have 2 local digital newspapers that are ad supported only and need the ads to work. The auto load feature would increase the number of page views and thus increase revenue generated from ads if it worked.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean, since when you click the Continue Reading button on the Teaser posts, it does reload the page by loading the article page itself.

Thanks for the illustration and I now understand what you mean. However, That would be a nuisance to visitors to your site to reload the page they are already on each time they view an article. The only reason the other Continue Reading buttons reload the page is because they are not actually viewing that article and need to be taken to that page. So, it’s not actually a “reload”, it’s more like an initial load.

But the short answer is that the Trending column is a part of the Featured 1 layout. There are 3 other Featured layouts that do not have the Trending column in it if you would like to use one of those. And there will also be more Featured Posts layouts added in future updates.

The Facebook sharing button function still works just fine through the changes, and if any issues arise, a fix will be provided in a future update.

As for switching themes, I cannot account for any features that you may be using with that theme that may be tied directly to that theme, but as long as your site works well with the default WordPress theme, it will work well with Zox News. The only thing I would recommend is that you regenerate your thumbnails with a plugin after installing the theme (as you would after installing any theme).
