I’ve translated plugin membership but i cannot see change is there any problem with filenames i encounter what is right filenames?

Hi there,

All the theme labels are marked and ready for translation. What you need to know, is that there are several language pot files that you need to translate (generate po and mo files for your language).

In theme folder (walker) -> languages you will see main language file, so you need to translate that one.

But also, you need to translate language files from the plugins. When you translate labels from plugins in this case in folder wp-content/plugins/edge-cpt/languages you have to change the file names after you generate .po and .mo files. You need to give new names by following this rule: domain-locale.po and domain-locale.mo . In your case you have to rename files e.g. ,if you translate to Russian, to edge_cpt-ru_RU.mo and edge_cpt-ru_RU.po and translate labels from that new po file.

This issue can commonly occur when user sets SSL certificate on a website where it wasn’t present and installation wasn’t configured initially in that way. You could try using some SSL links fixer plugins like maybe following ones https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/ http://ithemes.com/codex/downloads/fix-ssl-non-ssl-links.zip but that doesn’t guarantee fixing the issue. More proper way would be to remove images that are causing this problem and re-uploading them again. By using google chrome developer tools console you can find list of images that are causing this issue.

I want to change my actuel Sticky info product to Gallery product but, I have a problem with “Gallery product” presentation when I published my product with Walker Theme. It doesn’t look perfect like your example http://preview.themeforest.net/item/walker-a-trendy-woocommerce-theme/full_screen_preview/15789969?_ga=2.225089427.881351999.1504508829-63432445.1480689943 . I have no problem with my plugins I think the problem is with the theme or whatever. Sticky info and Standard product works perfectly !

- is there a demo site I can log into to look at back end options?

- are there sites using Walker to check out?

- is it easy to put an image in the mega menu, like the demo? Looks like 4 columns max in the mega menu. One of my shop categories has nine subcategories. Do additional subcategories appear in columns below (like houzz.com) or just run off the desktop?. Can you control column width?

- with a shop sidebar, the chosen category doesn’t bold, it looks like the others. Nothing to orient where you are except the huge category header, which I don’t want. That’s not good design. Can that be changed?

2. Regarding shop and it’s sidebar, we are using Woocommerce and it’s default widgets from shop functionality. Please check this article from plugin documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/

- And yes, you can display product subcategories, they will be displayed below main categories. https://www.screencast.com/t/UMQHBt58 Also, you have many options for displaying categories, like hierarchy, like dropdown list, etc.. https://www.screencast.com/t/UTkpnJ76cQk - Content and sidebar sections have predefined width, but you can change it with custom CSS.

- Regarding woo widget’s functionalities, unfortunately, they cannot be changed at the moment but we can prepare and provide some custom CSS code for you to style any element.

Is it possible to remove or otherwise disable the Google Maps plugin? I’m finding it causes increased page load times on occassion.

To disable google map api, you can go to your theme folder and open functions.php and delete this block of code : https://www.screencast.com/t/12e9KvBWD9n

Or you can use this function from the child theme, add it to the functions.php :

wp_dequeue_script('google_map_api');

It seems file “cart.php” in “theme/woocommerce/cart/cart.php” need an update. woocommerce status message is : version 3.0.3 is deprecated. The version is 3.1.0.

there a really big problem with this theme, visual composer need to be update because the website can be hacked easily with old versions of plugins! visual can’t be update you must pay more for this , i think that it s not serious

Theme labels can be changed or translated to your language with poedit software which is native wordpress way – following guide may be helpful http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/translating-your-theme--wp-25014 (read from point 3) or any other plugin for translation such as Loco translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ and here is beginners guide https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners

Third option is to change all labels manually, directly in code, but please note, after theme update all changed will be lost. :)

Support ticket system for Edge-Themes not functioning. Replying to a ticket results in an endless loading loop. have been trying to reply to a support ticket all day. I have tried with different browsers. I have tried logging out and logging in. Yesterday I had different issues with the support system. Currently our site is not functioning and I have no way to contact support!

Tiksy Support isn’t working. I just keep getting an endless loop of “please register”and “you are already registered.” I have the Walker theme and have a serious problem. Can someone contact me directly?
