OMG I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Avada is the only theme I use for building out client sites. This theme is stable, flexible, well documented and very well supported. I just installed another one for a new client and installed one of the new demos to check it out and low and behold, you’ve added a new feature to allow me to easily uninstall the demo if I change my mind!
I seriously cannot express how amazing it is that you listen to your users and continue to improve this theme! Could I have removed the demo I didn’t like before? Sure, with a little time and effort – but not it’s as easy as clicking a button! Thanks guys for going above and beyond! You keep reminding me why I love this theme so much and don’t want to use anything else!

How do we get proper updates for this theme, I bought this some time ago and have just had to update recently due to woocommerce upgrade but when i go to update the theme the woo commerce compatibility does not update still shows v2.6.

Thanks for your reply. I resolved it I had to fully remove (delete everything) and re-install the theme as the upgrade from such an old version just would not update the woocommerce templates files no matter how it was done. All sorted now though. thanks for your reply.

We are thinking of buying your theme, but we have accouple of questions: - Do you have instant search? Or when are you planning to implement that? Or can you recommend a plugin compatible with your theme? - Can you set the top logo/menu to shrink when scrolling down? - Can you add urls to images you add to the pinpoints on the google maps?

We do have search feature in our theme that can search all the post types however instant search and suggest is not an option right now, we are however continuously listening to our customers and we suggest you to please send us a feature request about this to support@theme-fusion.com, regarding the plugin recommendation we have not officially tried any instant search plugin in particular so we can not provide a recommendation right now.
Yes, the logo can be shrinked on scrolling and that feature of ours is called Sticky Header animation which can be enabled for our different header layouts from Theme Options.
You can add the external URLs in image frames element for sure, google maps can also take custom images / icons as pinpoints so you can set your own if you want to.

Follow-up question re: menus – Can your menu options include dynamic menus created from the most recent posts (UberMenu has this option – wondering if yours does too)?

1. Yes, we do have infinite scrolling for posts however i am not sure about the URL change part however the infinite scrolling works as when you click on the “Load More Posts” button it will load additional posts and then it continues same way.
2. We have a very simple form for email that is embedded in our contact page template, however we are compatible with Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms plugin actually so you can use them with our theme if required, i am not sure if they support popups but Gravity forms have some extensions that you can check on i believe.
3. We have our own MegaMenu that you can check on our demos, however we are also compatible with the Ubermenu plugin as well, however dynamic menus as per your last query is not possible but if ubermenu does support that you can definitely use it.
4. We do not have any tool of our own however you can use plugins like schema and others to put your own custom code there.
5. Yes, we are 100% compatible with WooCommerce

how to center the toggle icon and the toggle title in a container? My blog posts are all centered and some are really too long so I’m adding the toggle effect to put some of the long text in there. HI,

1. Please go to WP Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and set them to Postname from there and the URL will only show the post name for you.

2. Yes, you can simply change the category layout in our theme from Avada > Theme Options > Blog > Blog Archive Layout

That will happen for sure, however you can change it by changing the page title of blog and this should give you anything else you want, or you can set your front page as blog page from Settings > Reading > Post Page

Hello there, i have this theme installed and want to change the URL behind the logo. I use wordpress’ own multisite solution and i want the logo to go to the main site of the 4 multisites. Now the logo goes to the ‘home’ of that multisite site (what is a normal action)
So i got 4 sites in a multisite solution (example: home.multisites.com; site1.multisites.com; site2.multisites.com; site3.multisites.com)
What i want is that on site1, site2 & site3 the logo will go to home.multisites.com
I have looked in the logo.php but can’t seem to figure out what line i need to change to the url i want (example: home.multisites.com)

Hi there, I will let my boss do this again then. Have to say it could be more user friendly for companies. My boss does al the purchases, what in the end means only he can create support tickets and i always have to forward the information and wait for him to forward it to me again. While is would be alot easier to be able to create a ticket without the license key (since once claimed on an account can’t be used on a other account and therefor i can’t create tickets)

I can understand your side however this can simply not be possible since our support is premium and if we do so everyone can fill in a ticket without us having a way to check if they are eligible for support or not, i will suggest getting in touch with your boss and ask him to provide you access so you can fill in the tickets in future

Hi. I want to understand how the licensing for avada works. I understand that after purchase, the technical support will be available only for an year. But what about updates? Will the updates be also restricted to one year? Does using a theme after it has stopped receiving updates compromise on functionality and security? Thank you

With each purchase of Avada license you get 6 months of Free support that you can extend later again for 6 months and so on, however once you purchase the theme you will always be eligible for the Updates as they are FREE and you do not have to pay for them, once your theme (license) is registered the Auto Update will notify you of available update and you can simply get the new version by 1 click

Hi, I’m thinking about using avada for a heavy-content site, but worried about all the shortcodes that fusionbuilder generates within the pages/post. Could I export the actual content of the pages in the future, excluding these shortcodes? Or how could I remove that from real content? Thanks.

If you do not want to use our Fusion Builder Elements / shortcodes than you can simply disable the Fusion Builder and use the plain text editor (however we will not suggest it) since you will lose all our Awesome elements but when it comes to export the whole content of post / page will be exported including the shortcodes, its not possible to only export the content and exclude the shortcode from it.

Hi Guys
Just a heads up…your videos don’t scale properly on mobile. I’m doing a test revamp of a site on a wamp server and noticed using Firefox’s responsive view that the video height for YouTube vids isn’t being adjusted.
I checked your site on my Android phone and the media page (Elements 3) shows the same problem. See Dark Knight rises vid for instance, it looks ok in portrait mode but in landcape the height isn’t rescaling so it looks all squashed. (I also noticed that on that page (/media-2) your header didn’t change to the mobile version? I’m using Chrome, latest version of Android)
Might be an idea on your next update to allow the size setting on the videos to be of the max-width and height=auto type.

If you are embedding the video using default YouTube embed code it will definitely not act responsive however if you are using our own YouTube element the video should come up fine and good on mobile layouts and i have checked this with my SGS6 Edge phone without any issues, regarding your other query i am not sure what you mean by Element 3 page here so can you please provide some more details on this?

I’m using the YouTube element within the Builder – it looks fine on the desktop, however on mobile it just doesn’t scale the height. But it also doesn’t work using an iframe embed in a text block.
I’ve tried using CSS to fix it by setting the height at auto and it doesn’t work, so looks like I’ll have to abandon using video on this theme as there isn’t much point in having that module if it doesn’t scale properly. Looks terrible on mobile!
It appears to be the theme rather than the builder though, as I just switched to the Twenty Seventeen Theme and it scales fine in mobile there – both using the builder and using the default wordpress editor. Also deativated the Builder with Twenty Seventeen and videos behaved properly there too, so it looks like the problem is with the Theme itself rather than the builder.
Regarding the “Element 3” – that is on your demo page, under Elements 3>Media column. This is the url: https://avada.theme-fusion.com/media-2/
You’ll notice the Dark Knight video you have on there – it does not scale the height properly in Landscape (see 480, 640 etc it will show this both in Firefox in ‘Responsive Design Mode’, but also on a live smart phone (Android) and Lenovo tablet.

That looks like Portrait mode. Did you check it in Landscape as that’s the resolution I’m seeing problems with (including on your site).
My installation is a test site on the wamp so no help for that, but thanks anyway:
Don’t know what the answer is then if I’m not getting responsive (only the height in landscape) on my site and yours – I’ve used both Chrome and Firefox on Desktop. Only Chrome on phone and tablet. Weird eh!
Now I’ve discovered I can use the builder on WP default theme where it works okay, I might decide to use that instead – but then I’d have to give up using Fusion Slider and opt for Slider Revolution (got registered copy of that but find it too fiddly. So have to decide whether not having the video on is a dealbreaker on using Avada theme.

Yes, that is rather odd. I did not check it in landscape earlier, hence just did that on the S8 and this is what I see in landscape -> https://d.pr/i/x0piQG – it is displayed as expected for me. I have now also checked using an S6 and an iPhone 7 using Safari, FireFox and Chrome and I get the same results.

Yeah, on the tablet it almost looked like that – about 3/4 the height of it. The 480 and 640 resolutions seem to be the worse, (on Firefox Responsive Design Mode) but my phone I think is pretty high res (5.5” screen) though it’s a cheap Cubot and already being slugish when changing orientation. The Lenovo is not great and possibly has a similar res to the phone as it’s much older.
It’s entirely likely everyone else would see what you see, so I don’t think I’ll get in a sweat about it as it’s likely my equipment (and desktop browsers are never really that accurate showing mobile are they).
Thanks for all your help, and I’m thrilled to hear about that Grandfathering support should I need it. Probably will as I’m still practising to get the perfect site and there are just sooo many options I never bothered checking before – I’ve just discovered those cool section seperators and what a difference they can make to a page! I mean I knew they were there, but didn’t think to use them. Silly of me!
